About: NJ Residents. I've been around dogs my entire life, including Labradors, Beagles, and Labrador mixes. Right now, I share my home with a 97-pound Labrador retriever named Hunter, an orange tabby cat named Flash and a black tabby named Bear. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I'm comfortable walking, feeding/fresh water, administering medication, and showering your furry friend with love and attention. I'm an elementary school teacher with summers off, so I’m available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday. Weekends can be arranged if needed. Please note, I won’t be available the week of July 21st, as I'll be out of state on vacation. Your furry companions are my number one priority. I’m committed to following all of your instructions closely and will ensure a safe, loving, and dependable environment for them. You can count on me to be reliable and attentive to their needs.

About: I am one of those people who hangs out with the dog or cat at a house party, rather than the people. I grew up with dogs, including one who was epileptic and needed daily medication. We also had a parakeet and several hamsters. As an adult I’ve kept lizards, frogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and even co-habituated with a parrot for a few years. Nine years ago we adopted a rescue dog, who really made our family complete. Nearly all of our cats have lived into their golden years, so I have experience with daily insulin shots for a diabetic cat, and multiple medications and subcutaneous fluid injections for other cats. I will give the same level of attention and affection to your pets that I ask for of my own pet sitter. I’ve been caring for my own pets and the pets of friends and neighbors my entire life. I’ve helped rescue lost & abandoned animals. I’ve cared for and befriended all sorts of dogs - small, large, anxious, friendly, reactive. I prefer walking dogs on a harness as it allows me control without risk of injury to the dog. I’d love to meet you and your pets and see how I could be of service. I work from home with flex hours so am available as needed during the work day, after 9am. Weekends are very flexible. I can also do evening hours (until 7pm). I prefer to meet the animals with their human first, so we can get to know each other and I can understand the pets’ setup.

“Before we even began regular walks, Nanegea scheduled a meet-and-greet to get to know Bentley and understand his specific needs, temperament, and routine. They asked thoughtful questions about feeding schedules, medical conditions, triggers (like squirrels or loud noises), and even his favorite type of toy. They also made sure I was comfortable with their protocols in emergencies. Communication has been stellar ever since—daily text updates, photos, GPS-tracked walks, and even the occasional funny story from the day.”

Rokiatou K.
“Rokiatou has a dog named Chance, which she takes amazing care of. She is a very active person who often goes on walks and jogs with her dog all the time. I connected her with my mom to watch her dog Max, and there has never been a time when I can remember that my dog was worn out tired from playing with Rokiatou and the sadness Max showed when it was time for her to leave illustrated how much love Rokiatou shows for dogs. She is an amazing dog sitter.”
