About: My goal is to provide the pest possible service for your family. I am just getting started with Rover and not so busy yet. I think some great reviews would help and that is good news for you because great reviews require providing great service. Seriously, I am a senior looking to supplement my income like all old guys but I truly love dogs. It may seem strange but I feel a connection and able to communicate. So how about a shot to give you some great service so I can great reviews and fill my calendar a bit. Often times the fewer words the better but below gives you a window into some personal pet experiences. Pets have been a part of my entire life. My first adolescent memory is of Jacque, a prissy French Poodle with an attitude that Mom would let me dress up complete with overcoat, booties and of course a French beret. Ginger was a large orange tabby cat that could have been Garfield's stunt double. My parents attempt at teaching me responsibility actually worked. Married in 1971 our life together started with Figaro, looked just like the cat from Pinocchio. All black with white paws very sneaky, overly curious and slightly narcissistic. Figora belonged to my wife and he made that very clear. Sabrina, a very shiny grey Siamese joined us when my sister went to school. Sabrina was very anti social and did not like anybody. House guests could spend an entire weekend and never see her. She tolerated us but Sabrina and Figora had shall we say, an understanding. Neither were ever outdoors or saw the light of day. With the family developed and 3 boys later came Thunder. He was a rescue Sheppard mix. He was very active, playful, mischievous and very funny. He was more than a handful and we still laugh and talk about things that he did. As he became an adult dog, by years not behavior for sure, friends in a rural area expressed how much they loved Thunder. We just could not break their hearts and allowed them to adopt Thunder. We visited often. After some time Briar came into the picture. My wife's girlfriend became ill and unable to care for a large majestic Bovier de Flanders. Her coat was amazing. Very heavy and thick. Kids on the street would ask if she was a bear. When someone rang the doorbell Briar would announce them and greet them in an extremely loud intimidating manor. The caller could have just opened the door and patted her end and should would just give love and affection. She was kind gentle and helpful to everyone. Except, if you were to approach my wife in an aggressive manor or touch her, you were taking your life in your own hands. She was never taught to protect her, but protect she did. Amazing breed characteristics and lots of stories. We learned she had a UTI and was her kidney. We prolonged her life as long as possible and realized the treatment and medication were selfish on our part and chose her comfort over our love for her. So hard. My most recent pet experience was Pike, a brindle pit bull, male and Roxy, female dachshund. We started to foster them temporarily while my son traveled for work and turned to an extended stay their last years. Roxy ruled the roost for sure and was always funny when you considered their statute let alone breed but she was boss. We called them the odd couple. I would take them with me to work often and Pike made sales calls with me. He was truly my road dog. We lost them both within a month. We lost them both just before pandemic, they were 16-17 best guess. My son was the one that literally rescued Pike while he was chained to a dumpster in Rittenhouse Square all day in the rain. With lots of patience and love from everyone close, I watched him transform from an otherwise unfriendly, aggressive, animal hating Pit Bull transform to the sweetest, gentlest, ready to please member of the family. I do not have any formal training training nor have done training professionally but I am up for the challenge. I know and understand the 7 basic commands, hand signals, concepts and have a tremendous amount of patience. There are a lifetime of story's how I was the only one that got along with the shop dog or the neighbors dog or a particular. Hope to meet you and your Pups soon, Rocci I am retired and available 9:00am to 9:00 pm right now I don't need much notice. I am hoping to develop relationships with dogs by providing outstanding service I have a French yard that houses all the dogs and cats and the other animals as well as an area in the garage where we keep all the toys

About: Hi! My name is Rachael and I live in Delran. I have been dog-sitting for about 14 years now. I've taken care of small and big dogs and love caring for them and also playing with them. I have a 12 year old retriever pitbull myself that my family rescued. I know how to care for her when she's stressed out, like when there is a thunderstorm or fireworks going off. So, I can provide a calming atmosphere for dogs when needed and am always ready to have fun with dogs, too! I have experience administering oral medications as well. I have cared for up to three dogs at the same time. I love making dogs feel at ease and I love seeing their high energy when we play! I am currently available for dog walking and at-home visits while you are away. I am currently working part time, so I have pretty open availability each week for visits and dog walking! I love spending time with animals and can ensure I provide top notch service for your pets. Currently, I live with my family dog that is a 12 year old pitbull retriever mix. I am not currently offering in-home care for other pets, as I do not want to interfere with my dog, but at your home I can play with them, feed them, relax with them, walk them, and do whatever you need me to do to provide a safe environment for your pet!

About: I treat every pet as if it were my own. I’ve owed three dogs in the past years , two of which were rescues. I worked at a greyhound shelter in the past. I grew up with a cat as child and always been drawn to animals. My house is pet friendly and is a three story row house with a fenced in yard, on a quiet block. I love taking care of animals and will make sure your pet is treated with love and respect! My dog is a friendly and playful Jack Russell mix who loves his walks. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs all my life as the daughter of a k9 officer. Currently living with my father’s German shepherd and belgian malinois. As well as having my own dog an American staffy. We spend a lot of time outside on walks and dog parks as well as working on our training! I only work three days a week (different days each week) have a lot of availability on my days off. Flexible to work with your schedule! With dogs safety is a top priority especially working with someone else dog. Making sure leashes and or harness are in place and latched before our walks. As well as coming and going into someone else house to not only respect their property but also making sure doors are shut and lock so no animals escape or unwelcome guest come in.

About: What sets me apart from other Rover sitters is my combination of personalized care, reliability, and attention to detail. I treat every pet like my own,learning their routines, quirks, and needs so they feel comfortable and safe, even when their family is away. I also keep owners updated with regular photos and messages, so they have peace of mind. I’m currently working overnight at Amazon and I also have 2 dogs and a cat myself so with that being said I have all the time When I care for pets in my home and or future client’s I create a safe, welcoming environment that mimics their routine as closely as possible. About: I’ve taken care of both senior dogs and puppies. I’ve also owned a senior dog and puppy myself, both of which needed diapers, as well as a very reactive, energetic dog. I have also done overnight dog sitting stays for friends and family, and have babysat dogs ranging in sizes from a yorkshire terrier to a golden retriever. I’m a college student who has plenty of free time. I do a hybrid schedule of online and in person classes which allows me the freedom to have a flexible schedule when it comes to pet care. I also have my own transportation. I have training with dog CPR and the Heimlich maneuver, and did my college sophomore year research paper on it. I have one dog, he’s an extremely friendly, 3 year old golden doodle. He goes on three walks a day, sometimes more, and gets to play in our fenced in yard whenever he sits by the back door. I also had a poodle who was my childhood dog. She lived to be 15 and was extremely happy and well taken care of. My family is a family of dog and animal lovers. We’ve had a range of pets from fish and mice to cats and dogs.

About: i’ve been taking care of pets all throughout my life. I graduated with a B.S in biology and I have experience from family and friends by dog sitting theres. I’m currently working part-time and i’m in school full time! About: I’ve been taken care of animals the majority of my 22 years of life. A frenchie, husky, 4 pit bulls, and a Dalmatian to be specific. And as a new cat owner, I’m ready to take on the new challenges. Pets deserve to be cared for my someone who will care for them like their own. That’s what I’m here to do! Taking care of pets is a big part of my daily life and I really enjoy it! I have a French Bulldog who’s full of personality and energy. I make sure to feed him at least twice a day and keep a consistent routine so he feels happy and secure. I also take him to the park every week, which he absolutely loves. It’s a great way for him to get exercise and socialize with other dogs. I know how to crate small, medium, and large dogs. I also know the signs of heat stroke and uncertainty in dogs.
