“Laura was on time, took Toby for a nice walk and fed him. After he ate she cleaned his bowl which she didn't need to do (she didn't even need to stay while he ate) but I thought that was nice!”
8. Brian G.
“Brian is the BEST! Benji our dog is our baby and we are obsessed with him! With that being said, we will only allow for the best care. We just moved from Philly to NJ and so we had to say good bye to our old Benji walker. It was so nerve wracking. Brian took his own, un paid time to meet us twice before starting to walk Benji. He is always on time and has been 100% reliable. He always checks in and out and leaves very specific messages about his time with Benji for us to read while we are at work. It totally eases our minds when we hear from Brian. He has gone way above and beyond for US and for Benji. He literally brings water and allows Benji to drink out of his hand on their walks because Benji is so particular and does not like when we are away. He makes sure that Benji is not thirsty. He also opened up windows for us because Benji got sprayed by a skunk the prior night (In our care ) and he wanted to help out. He asked first of course. He even noticed Benji sniffing around and told us where he thinks the skunk is coming from. Since we moved in we have been very busy and some things have gone unnoticed. Brain told us he felt the harness was unsafe. Brian opened and adjusted a new harness for us so that Benji would be safe. I can NOT say enough about how happy we are that we have Brian as our walker. Feel free to contact me if you want to know more about our experiences so far with Brian.”

About: Hi! I’m Jenny From The Block. Dog lover, rescuer, and mom. I have 30 plus years of experience with my own and others’ dogs — and pets/animals of all kinds really. I’m married with 3 almost-grown boys. Everyone knows my favorite “boy” is a 4 year old, 20 pound Chihuahua/Jack Russell(?) mix rescue named Brodie. He’s very social and kind, and he loves to play. In his bow tie, he looks like a tiny, furry old man. He’s trained and great with other dogs. These days, he's a bit sad & lonely because we recently lost our puppy Akira to epilepsy. I have experience administering meds, adhering to a strict schedule, seizures, emergency medical care… I have experience with older and special needs animals, and puppies are no problem. As an owner of dogs with anxiety, I can assure you that your pup will receive the personalized attention that they need. I have lots of experience with high anxiety dogs and the behavior that can come along with an anxious dog. Patience and trust is key. I’ll like to brush the dogs daily for a healthy coat and to reduce anxiety (and reduce shedding!). I have 3 years professional obedience training from puppy on up. I have no issues with any sort of crates, collars, housing types, etc… We have crates if your pup feels more secure there or just needs some “me time.” Or they can play, lounge or nap in our separate doggie lounge area. My pets are allowed on furniture and sleep in the bed with us. I’m happy to accommodate your dog in whatever conditions they are most used to at home, makes them (and you!) most calm, comfortable, and happy when away from home. I am a stay-at-home mom, so I'm free to spend a lot of time playing with and taking care of your dog. My schedule is flexible and dictated by the “dogs’ days.” Some days we have tons of energy and are excited to get outside to run, play and release energy. Other days are lazy days, where snuggles, naps and belly rubs are in order. I love playing and cuddling with all the furbabies and will sit down on the floor with them for one on one and pack time. Sometimes it’s difficult to tell who’s having more fun! Most dogs need daily exercise to keep them from getting bored or anxious, and to release energy. Weather-permitting, a typical morning or afternoon includes a long walk in my quiet & safe neighborhood. It’s a great opportunity to get exercise and practice commands & and good manners with other (friendly) dogs we meet. Or, we might spend time in the yard playing, exploring, chasing squirrels, birds or each other… followed by a nice nap in the sun. Regular activity and stimulation results in a calm, happy dog at pick up. I have a relatively flexible schedule. I am available on weekends and weekdays and can work with you on your specific pick up, drop off, daycare, and boarding time table. I treat all dogs as if they are my own. My services are tailored to your pet's unique needs, ensuring they get all the love, playtime, and belly rubs they are used to at home! (Possibly more!) My fun but firm approach has earned me the title of 'dog whisperer'. Dogs are innately pack animals and don’t always like being alone, so it’s important that your dog trusts me and we bond. I am with them all day when they’re here. Pet safety as my top priority, you can trust that your furry friend will be in good hands with me. When we go outside, I stay with them at all times. I have secure fencing around the backyard. Dogs are never left unattended outdoors. I live in a quiet, safe, dog-friendly neighborhood. My home is also safe, secure and animal-friendly. I have space for crates if you need your dog to sleep in a crate at night, otherwise they are free to sleep with me. For a smooth transition, I ask you pack your pup's collar/harness, leash, food, and crate or other items they enjoy. Please let me know if your pet has any medical limitations, physical limitations, any other sort of restriction. Also, if they have a history of reactivity/aggression towards people or dogs so I can accommodate their behavior. You can have 100% peace of mind when your fur baby is with me.

About: I have worked in the Healthcare support industry most of my years.Having acquired some skills in medical observations, patience, and understanding has helped me in my own petcare journey & in the petcare of others. In my childhood thru highschool (Hallahan Catholic Girls High School Alumni) I cared for my petcat for an estimated 12 years. Presently I have 2 cats I take care of, an orange tabby named "Mahi" and my mother's cat, a Siamese named "Ayla".I would welcome the opportunity to be of help to you and your pet. I normally walk everyday. I have also volunteered by walking my elderly neighbor's dog at times. I didn't know I could have a job at this🙂, this is great. I have availability to work on the weekends, some holidays and vacation times. Presently, I live with my mother and our 2 cats we have availability to an outside gated big green lawn area. I would consider letting a clients dog stay outside in the lawn area during the spring & summer if you have an emergency or just errands.I would sit out there with them. But if you prefer pet care at your own home that can be arranged once mutual trust has been established.
14. Samantha C.
“Samantha was our go-to pet sitter for several years when we were living in PA. We have two good-sized pibbles (65lbs and 50lbs) who are a little older, one with hip dysplasia, who needed to be played with in a certain way to prevent him from stressing his joints and who needed occasional medication. Samantha was attentive, responsible, and took great care of them both, getting them safely exercised and planning out the necessary potty breaks. Our dogs adore Samantha and are always thrilled to see her. It is clear how much Samantha loves the pups and takes care of them like were her own. She has my wholehearted and unreserved recommendation.”
15. Gina T.
“Gina has cared for our cats and dogs for several years now and has always done an amazing job. It's not easy trusting someone else with your pets; especially when they are older and/or have special needs. With Gina's services, our minds are always at ease as we know they are in great hands. When you meet Gina, you'll notice her love for animals and her friendly personality right away. We couldn't ask for a better petsitter and friend to our fur babies!”

About: I have always taken care of a dog in my family. Whether you have senior dogs who need medication or puppies who need to get thie energy out, I am willing to help. My dog needed insulin as he grew older so if your dog is a diabetic, I already have experience. I have also witnessed seizures in dogs before and can react appropriately. School and work are part time. They are on mostly fixed schedules and if they ever need me, you as the client will have a days notice at least. Time management is something I take very seriously and that will carry on into caring for your pet. While I have one kitty at home myself, I also volunteer at the local animal shelter. The focus is your pet and their care while I take over for the scheduled service.
