About: My Bernese mountain dog is my whole world. I never imagined I would have a 100 pound gentle giant but here we are- and I truly love it! I recently left my decade-long career in executive recruiting to create more balance and joy in my life and I couldn’t be happier. Being home more and adding even more dog love into my days has been incredibly fulfilling. Dog walking and pet care are now my full time focus which allows me to be very flexible and reliable for my clients. My husband lives with us too so dogs that are afraid of men wouldn’t be a fit for us. He is very nice I promise ;) My gentle giant Scarlet is glued to my side all day! My husband and I have both worked from home her whole life so she is quite the Velcro dog. We walk 2 or 3 times a day usually and we love to go to the park! My whole day involves Scarlet in the best way :) We have a fenced in yard with sliding door access so the dogs can go in and out as they please. The fence is the while vinyl type so it’s solid with no gaps to escape through. My 3 year old bernese is more of a lay down kind of gal but she doesnt mind playing a little with other dogs- she just gets tired! I love snuggles and kisses, and I give lots of pets!

About: I’ve been taking care of family friend dogs in my hometown for about 5 years. My neighbors always relied on me to watch their dogs while they were gone for a weekend or for a week for vacation. I love playing with dogs and learning their little personalities. I currently own two cats and they are amazing and entertaining to say the least. I currently work during the day from 8am to 5pm out of the Ewing, NJ area so I am available evenings during the week and weekends. I will work on gaining the cat or dogs trust depending on how the pet feels. I’m really great with trying to talk to them and learning their behavior/personality.

About: Ever since I was little I have loved animals, so much so that when I was 12 I convinced my mother to let me get a dog, despite her fears of them. I raised, trained (haphazardly 😅), and groomed my dog from a puppy to an adult till she died of heart worms. After, I adopted my sister’s dog when she no longer wanted her. Grooming and taking care of her till I went off to college taught me a lot about caring for an older dog. In between dogs and even now I help my friends with their cats, feeding, grooming, and watching over them when their owners are out of town. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets and I am ready to tackle whatever yours may throw at me! I work part time mornings throughout the week so after I get off I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets. I can devote a great deal of time to walking or sitting. The more time you need the more time I get to spend with your cute fur babies making it a win/win. Typically I like to feed pets around every 3-5 hours, but I am perfectly capable of adhering to any sort of schedule or rules you may have regarding feeding times. I am extremely flexible so if there are any specifics when it comes to the care of your pet I will have little to no problem sticking to your routine.

About: I have over 10 years of experience taking care of animals from my own home, neighbors, and family members and now Rover! I have my own 3yo aussiepoo who loves to play with other animals and makes it her personal mission to make everyone love her. I take her on hikes, to dog parks, and anywhere really that she can get a good workout in. I’ve loved animals my whole life and I’m extremely caring so best believe your pet will be treated like family while in my care! By having dogs and cats for so long combined with my experience caring for others, I have definitely learned a few things when it comes to training young ones and even caring for older pups too. Since I work a hybrid job and go to college online I will have ample time to care for your pets! + I live with my partner who helps me take care of animals and I have my grandma who lives right below me and is always on call 😂 my whole family is very animal friendly so there will always be someone home with the animals. I have a small fenced backyard but since it’s so tiny we will usually be only taking them out for walks at the minimum. I also have a medium crate and gate if needed.

Between my childhood dogs, my turtle, and my friends and families pets, it has become more than just a hobby, pet care is one of my genuine passions!!! I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. At my home, I provide a clean and pet-friendly environment, fresh water, regular feeding on schedule, daily exercise, and plenty of playtime or snuggles depending on each pet’s personality. I also make sure they have a cozy space to rest and follow any special instructions such as medications or dietary needs. In a client’s home, I maintain their pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. This may include feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes, refreshing water, and giving attention and affection. I’m also mindful of home security, like locking up properly and bringing in mail if requested. My goal is always to keep pets happy, healthy, and stress-free until their owner returns.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for over 30 years. I currently have 7 rescue dogs who range in age from 3-16 and weigh 6-26 lbs. I’m also an active foster for the Burlington County Animal Alliance. I’ve fostered close to 30 dogs this past year alone. I currently work full time, but am home Fridays Saturday and Sundays. The days I’m home I will take excellent care of any babies I’m dog sitting. I have a spacious backyard with a secure 6-foot fence, perfect for safe playtime. My home is full of happy pups who love making new friends. I do have crates available if needed, but most dogs prefer snuggling in bed with me or relaxing on one of the many cozy dog beds throughout the house.

I think some great reviews would help and that is good news for you because great reviews require providing great service. Seriously, I am a senior looking to supplement my income like all old guys but I truly love dogs. It may seem strange but I feel a connection and able to communicate. So how about a shot to give you some great service so I can great reviews and fill my calendar a bit. Often times the fewer words the better but below gives you a window into some personal pet experiences. Pets have been a part of my entire life. My first adolescent memory is of Jacque, a prissy French Poodle with an attitude that Mom would let me dress up complete with overcoat, booties and of course a French beret. Ginger was a large orange tabby cat that could have been Garfield's stunt double. My parents attempt at teaching me responsibility actually worked. Married in 1971 our life together started with Figaro, looked just like the cat from Pinocchio. All black with white paws very sneaky, overly curious and slightly narcissistic. Figora belonged to my wife and he made that very clear. Sabrina, a very shiny grey Siamese joined us when my sister went to school. Sabrina was very anti social and did not like anybody. House guests could spend an entire weekend and never see her. She tolerated us but Sabrina and Figora had shall we say, an understanding. Neither were ever outdoors or saw the light of day. With the family developed and 3 boys later came Thunder. He was a rescue Sheppard mix. He was very active, playful, mischievous and very funny. He was more than a handful and we still laugh and talk about things that he did. As he became an adult dog, by years not behavior for sure, friends in a rural area expressed how much they loved Thunder. We just could not break their hearts and allowed them to adopt Thunder. We visited often. After some time Briar came into the picture. My wife's girlfriend became ill and unable to care for a large majestic Bovier de Flanders. Her coat was amazing. Very heavy and thick. Kids on the street would ask if she was a bear. When someone rang the doorbell Briar would announce them and greet them in an extremely loud intimidating manor. The caller could have just opened the door and patted her end and should would just give love and affection. She was kind gentle and helpful to everyone. Except, if you were to approach my wife in an aggressive manor or touch her, you were taking your life in your own hands. She was never taught to protect her, but protect she did. Amazing breed characteristics and lots of stories. We learned she had a UTI and was her kidney. We prolonged her life as long as possible and realized the treatment and medication were selfish on our part and chose her comfort over our love for her. So hard. My most recent pet experience was Pike, a brindle pit bull, male and Roxy, female dachshund. We started to foster them temporarily while my son traveled for work and turned to an extended stay their last years. Roxy ruled the roost for sure and was always funny when you considered their statute let alone breed but she was boss. We called them the odd couple. I would take them with me to work often and Pike made sales calls with me. He was truly my road dog. We lost them both within a month. We lost them both just before pandemic, they were 16-17 best guess. My son was the one that literally rescued Pike while he was chained to a dumpster in Rittenhouse Square all day in the rain. With lots of patience and love from everyone close, I watched him transform from an otherwise unfriendly, aggressive, animal hating Pit Bull transform to the sweetest, gentlest, ready to please member of the family. I do not have any formal training training nor have done training professionally but I am up for the challenge. I know and understand the 7 basic commands, hand signals, concepts and have a tremendous amount of patience. There are a lifetime of story's how I was the only one that got along with the shop dog or the neighbors dog or a particular.
