About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have experience caring for both small and medium-sized breeds. I’ve successfully potty trained a puppy and have also cared for a senior dog, giving me experience with pets at different stages of life. As a pre-PA student, I am responsible, attentive, and comfortable following detailed care instructions, medication schedules, and feeding routines. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply extra cuddles, I will treat them like they’re part of my own family. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I currently have a very flexible schedule throughout the summer. I am available all day on weekdays and am also available on weekends with advance notice. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship for your pets. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your pets, and I am committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get exercise, and I currently do not have any pets in my home, allowing me to provide your pet with my full attention. I also have a dog park nearby and live in a safe, walkable neighborhood that is perfect for daily walks and outdoor time. I will always follow your pet’s routine and any care instructions you provide to ensure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while in my home.

“Miranda took care of our cat Tiny Tom during a short trip to Boston. Miranda left very detailed notes and lots of pictures of our boy. She was very responsive and we knew we left him in great hands! We will definitely reach out to Miranda in the future. Thank you!!!”

“Jimi was so accommodating as we were looking for a last minute sitter over the Easter holiday weekend and our usual sitter was unavailable! He scheduled a meet & greet with us very promptly during the week, and was open to the individual care needs of both of our cats, who must both be fed twice a day. We had an unexpected delay extend our trip by our day and as he was available, Jimi was kind enough to stop in twice more than planned to see our little girls. I would definitely recommend Jimi for your sitting needs, as he was professional, courteous, and prompt the whole way through.”

About: With 4 years of dedicated cat care, I’ve developed a deep understanding and love for felines. My journey began when I adopted a cat six years ago, and over the four years I had him, I learned the ins and outs of feline needs and behaviors. I’m committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and playful environment for your cat, ensuring they feel right at home.

About: Me myself I have a cat and I always had cats and dogs. I feel like sometimes cats get overlooked because everyone focuses more on dogs but cats are just gonna be just as friendly as dogs and could be just as fun. My cat looks like a little puppy and acts like a puppy, cats can experience loneliness and separation anxiety just like a dog can so it’s good to make sure that cats are well taken care of when you’re away or you have someone sitting for you
“Lacey was fantastic! I went away for a week for the first time since getting my cat and her consistency and professionalism made it so much easier. I loved the regular check ins and my boy seemed happy as ever on return. Thank you!”

While I don’t currently have a cat of my own, I truly enjoy caring for others’ cats and giving them the attention and affection they deserve. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or more independent, I focus on making them feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for

“Tina was amazing with out cat Stepan. She sent photos and video to let me know that Stepan having a great time. I definitely trust and will have Tina to stay with our cat again.”

About: My goal is to provide the pest possible service for your family. I am just getting started with Rover and not so busy yet. I think some great reviews would help and that is good news for you because great reviews require providing great service. Seriously, I am a senior looking to supplement my income like all old guys but I truly love dogs. It may seem strange but I feel a connection and able to communicate. So how about a shot to give you some great service so I can great reviews and fill my calendar a bit. Often times the fewer words the better but below gives you a window into some personal pet experiences. Pets have been a part of my entire life. My first adolescent memory is of Jacque, a prissy French Poodle with an attitude that Mom would let me dress up complete with overcoat, booties and of course a French beret. Ginger was a large orange tabby cat that could have been Garfield's stunt double. My parents attempt at teaching me responsibility actually worked. Married in 1971 our life together started with Figaro, looked just like the cat from Pinocchio. All black with white paws very sneaky, overly curious and slightly narcissistic. Figora belonged to my wife and he made that very clear. Sabrina, a very shiny grey Siamese joined us when my sister went to school. Sabrina was very anti social and did not like anybody. House guests could spend an entire weekend and never see her. She tolerated us but Sabrina and Figora had shall we say, an understanding. Neither were ever outdoors or saw the light of day. With the family developed and 3 boys later came Thunder. He was a rescue Sheppard mix. He was very active, playful, mischievous and very funny. He was more than a handful and we still laugh and talk about things that he did. As he became an adult dog, by years not behavior for sure, friends in a rural area expressed how much they loved Thunder. We just could not break their hearts and allowed them to adopt Thunder. We visited often. After some time Briar came into the picture. My wife's girlfriend became ill and unable to care for a large majestic Bovier de Flanders. Her coat was amazing. Very heavy and thick. Kids on the street would ask if she was a bear. When someone rang the doorbell Briar would announce them and greet them in an extremely loud intimidating manor. The caller could have just opened the door and patted her end and should would just give love and affection. She was kind gentle and helpful to everyone. Except, if you were to approach my wife in an aggressive manor or touch her, you were taking your life in your own hands. She was never taught to protect her, but protect she did. Amazing breed characteristics and lots of stories. We learned she had a UTI and was her kidney. We prolonged her life as long as possible and realized the treatment and medication were selfish on our part and chose her comfort over our love for her. So hard. My most recent pet experience was Pike, a brindle pit bull, male and Roxy, female dachshund. We started to foster them temporarily while my son traveled for work and turned to an extended stay their last years. Roxy ruled the roost for sure and was always funny when you considered their statute let alone breed but she was boss. We called them the odd couple. I would take them with me to work often and Pike made sales calls with me. He was truly my road dog. We lost them both within a month. We lost them both just before pandemic, they were 16-17 best guess. My son was the one that literally rescued Pike while he was chained to a dumpster in Rittenhouse Square all day in the rain. With lots of patience and love from everyone close, I watched him transform from an otherwise unfriendly, aggressive, animal hating Pit Bull transform to the sweetest, gentlest, ready to please member of the family. I do not have any formal training training nor have done training professionally but I am up for the challenge. I know and understand the 7 basic commands, hand signals, concepts and have a tremendous amount of patience. There are a lifetime of story's how I was the only one that got along with the shop dog or the neighbors dog or a particular. Hope to meet you and your Pups soon, Rocci I am retired and available 9:00am to 9:00 pm right now I don't need much notice. I am hoping to develop relationships with dogs by providing outstanding service I have a French yard that houses all the dogs and cats and the other animals as well as an area in the garage where we keep all the toys

“Achilles is a very high energy kind of dog; you have to be great to handle him! Jovani did exceptionally well with him. What made my heart smile is the way Achilles ran towards his door and also jumped for joy when I dropped him both days! Achilles is a very smart dog; if you are bad with him, he runs away from you but if you are good with him, he'll be all over you any time he sets his eyes on you! Trust me, your dog will have a great time with Jovani! I am so happy Achilles has a second home where he is loved & taken care of! I would have given a 10 star rating if there was one!!!”

“Kelly is great! My 11 months German Sheppard dog Alma loves her very much. She became comfortable with her very 1st minute of stay. It means a lot, as dogs are very sincere and can’t fake. Alma is very energetic dog who never tired and I was very satisfied when she returns home completely tired , not bothering me. ? I would definitely recommend Kelly to other moms and dads”

About: I love dogs, especially the ones that may not be the best walkers and best trained. My 15 year old shiba recently passed and I miss taking walks and caring for him daily. I have also lived with a variety of higher-energy, larger dogs who've needed more help in training and runs. I am available to help if your hours are long or in off times (I do actually work a full-time remote job and am seeking this out because I would love to spend more time with more dogs and dog owners), and would love to spend time with your pup for whatever his or her needs may be (even if that just means keeping treats on me at all times)! Less of a capitalistic enterprise, and more of a desire to hang out with cool dogs. Full-time work from home, so I am available all day to play with and and walk your little dog! Need your help know what your pet’s schedule looks like and how I can help maintain it. Lots of walks and supervision until we trust eachother enough for free roams inside. Need your help know what your pet’s schedule looks like and how I can help maintain it.
“Lovely and welcoming environment. Our dogs settled in very quickly and got along great with his dog. When we picked them up they were happy and obviously had a very good day. We are very grateful for the great care he gave them! We will definitely ask him to watch them again as we have family in the area and come back to town a couple times a year. ?”

About: I have lived with both cats and dogs my whole life and have always loved being around animals. I have experience caring for pets for family members while they were on vacation, including feeding, walking, playing, and making sure they felt comfortable and cared for. I understand how important pets are to a family, and I will treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I am graduating college in December and most of my classes are online. I also work part-time, and my job is partially remote, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Because of this flexibility, I am available most days and can adjust my availability to fit pet care needs, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings when needed. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in every pet care situation. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walking, medication, and routines to keep pets comfortable and stress-free in their familiar environment. I make sure doors are secure, water is always fresh, and pets are never left in unsafe situations. I treat every pet with patience, respect, and close attention to their individual needs.
About: I’m a single woman who recently lost my dog. I travel a lot for work but would love the companionship of a dog when I am home. I love all dogs and am truly looking forward to having some temporary fur babies as guests. I had a chihuahua and a Bassett hound. Both passed recently and it was heart wrenching. I’m looking to share companionship with all kinds of dogs during my weekends and some week days. My home is animal free. Your fur baby will receive all of my attention. There will be walks and plenty of time spent in my fenced in yard. I’m only accepting house broken dogs. I look forward to chatting with you about dog sitting your fur baby soon. Thank you.
“Michael was wonderful with my dog Shelby. He showed up on time each day, and was gentle and patient with her. (She was reluctant to go out sometimes). He communicated with me each day about how it went. Shelby acquainted herself quickly with Michael and started to look forward to her walks. I would highly recommend him. He's definitely a dog lover and is responsible and communicative. Thanks Mike!”

About: I love animals I even lived on a farm, pigs , dogs, cats, goats, and donkeys, and parrot I love animals and will assure they will love me too My schedule is pretty busy, but I enjoy staying active and working toward my goals. I work part-time in HVAC, attend night classes Monday through Thursday from 6–10 PM, and serve on the weekends at Olive Garden. When I’m not working or studying, I love spending time with pets — I’ve always enjoyed being around animals and would love the chance to care for and spend time with them. I believe safety, trust, and a positive environment are very important. I always want to make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and cared for. I value building trust through patience, responsibility, and attention to their needs while providing a safe and welcoming space.

“My two big puppies (cattledog/terrier mix and golden retriever) can be a handful but Leanne and her family managed them with ease. I am grateful to know that we have a new sitter (since ours moved away) that we trust and that the dogs love! I got daily photos and video and the dogs were happy and relaxed when we pulled up to greet them at the end of our trip. We will be using Leanne again a few times this summer and in the years to come for sure!”

“Jovani did an amazing job, I needed a sitter on really short notice and he answered almost immediately. Really amazing communication, sent pictures throughout the day, my dog was comfortable in very short time with him. He followed all directions and was always available with any questions or concerns I had!”

“Jennette watch my sable for a week after meeting Jennette and family I felt that she would look after Sable and take care of her while I was away. She gave me an update while I was away ensuring me that I made the right choice. I pick up Sable once we return home, she was happy to be home. If ever we need to go on vacation again I will definitely ask Jennette to watch Sable again. Thank you I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing Sable was in good hands.”

“Gabby was a great dog sitter. Gretchen felt right at home; Gabby sent photos and checked in regularly. I would highly recommend Gabriela and will use her again.”

“I was nervous at 1st to leave Kensi with anyone because we have never left her over night with anyone. But Christine took extremely great care of our pup. Would recommend her also to someone who needs a pet sitter..”

“Kim is AMAZING. Toby absolutely LOVES going to Kim's house. She's always available, extremely flexiable and always reliable. She is the best pet sitter we've ever had, such a gem! Thank you Kim for treating Toby like one of your own. We love getting updates and photos of Toby during his stay. :)”

“We knew from the moment Maggie stepped foot inside Meghan’s home that she felt safe and loved. I was amazed at the number of photos and updates that greeted me everyday. Maggie looked super happy and comfortable. Meghan is not only the ultimate puppy sitter; she’s a compassionate soul. I couldn’t imagine leaving Maggie with anyone else.”

“Jayla was absolutely wonderful! She kept us informed with pictures and videos of our Teddy and he was a very happy pup! I would love to use her services again. She was great :)”

“Tully had the best time with Lauren and her family, especially her children! Lauren sent daily updates and pictures and reassured me that Tully was doing well and having fun! I will definitely book another stay with Lauren!”

“Kelly is awesome. While we were away, a family emergency caused us to have to extend our stay, and Kelly didn't flinch in watching Hazel for several extra days. Very cool!”

“I can't say enough about how wonderful Kathleen and her family were with our dog Maci. Maci is 11 years old and very anxious. My husband works from home so she is always with family and very attached. We were worried about leaving her with someone she did not know. We met Kathleen and her family before our trip and they were extremely nice and easy to talk with. They immediately bonded with Maci and made us feel comfortable leaving our dog, who is like our child, with them. During our trip Kathleen sent pictures and kept us updated as to how Maci was doing. It was a huge relief. I have never used Rover or a pet sitter site before but can now rave about how easy and great it was. I highly recommend Kathleen with the care of your pet and I will surely use her services again!”

“I had to go on something like 6 trips over the past couple of months and booked Jeffrey every time. He is the best dog sitter I have ever hired. He is extremely flexible, an excellent communicator, kind, and has a great, safe space for dogs to play inside and outside. You will not go wrong booking with Jeffrey.”

“This was our dog Daisy’s second stay with Michael and he was wonderful! He’s great about communicating and was so helpful when we needed a last minute sitter! Would definitely recommend him to others and will use him again in the future!”
