“David came over for a meet-and-greet the day I booked a drop-in with him. My puppy, Nina, took to him immediately. When he came for the actual drop in the next day, he fed Nina, played with her, and picked up after her in our backyard! He also sent tons of pictures of Nina enjoying herself and kept me informed of everything that went on. He even brought my garbage can up from the curb and brought a package inside that was delivered to me. He left the house immaculate as if he never even stopped by. David definitely kept my mind at ease and I would book him again in a heart beat!”

About: I’ve always had dogs in my household that I grew up caring for, I adore every one of them and I’m my family’s and friend’s first call for any care needed to their babies! I’m excited to bring my love and care to yours!! I’m currently working night life part time on weekends, so a majority of my week is open! If there’s a day needed I have blocked off reach out and I’m sure I can accommodate those are just the days I’m scheduled! I’m also free for sitting for longer periods of time if needed!! About: My goal is to provide the pest possible service for your family. I am just getting started with Rover and not so busy yet. I think some great reviews would help and that is good news for you because great reviews require providing great service. Seriously, I am a senior looking to supplement my income like all old guys but I truly love dogs. It may seem strange but I feel a connection and able to communicate. So how about a shot to give you some great service so I can great reviews and fill my calendar a bit. Often times the fewer words the better but below gives you a window into some personal pet experiences. Pets have been a part of my entire life. My first adolescent memory is of Jacque, a prissy French Poodle with an attitude that Mom would let me dress up complete with overcoat, booties and of course a French beret. Ginger was a large orange tabby cat that could have been Garfield's stunt double. My parents attempt at teaching me responsibility actually worked. Married in 1971 our life together started with Figaro, looked just like the cat from Pinocchio. All black with white paws very sneaky, overly curious and slightly narcissistic. Figora belonged to my wife and he made that very clear. Sabrina, a very shiny grey Siamese joined us when my sister went to school. Sabrina was very anti social and did not like anybody. House guests could spend an entire weekend and never see her. She tolerated us but Sabrina and Figora had shall we say, an understanding. Neither were ever outdoors or saw the light of day. With the family developed and 3 boys later came Thunder. He was a rescue Sheppard mix. He was very active, playful, mischievous and very funny. He was more than a handful and we still laugh and talk about things that he did. As he became an adult dog, by years not behavior for sure, friends in a rural area expressed how much they loved Thunder. We just could not break their hearts and allowed them to adopt Thunder. We visited often. After some time Briar came into the picture. My wife's girlfriend became ill and unable to care for a large majestic Bovier de Flanders. Her coat was amazing. Very heavy and thick. Kids on the street would ask if she was a bear. When someone rang the doorbell Briar would announce them and greet them in an extremely loud intimidating manor. The caller could have just opened the door and patted her end and should would just give love and affection. She was kind gentle and helpful to everyone. Except, if you were to approach my wife in an aggressive manor or touch her, you were taking your life in your own hands. She was never taught to protect her, but protect she did. Amazing breed characteristics and lots of stories. We learned she had a UTI and was her kidney. We prolonged her life as long as possible and realized the treatment and medication were selfish on our part and chose her comfort over our love for her. So hard. My most recent pet experience was Pike, a brindle pit bull, male and Roxy, female dachshund. We started to foster them temporarily while my son traveled for work and turned to an extended stay their last years. Roxy ruled the roost for sure and was always funny when you considered their statute let alone breed but she was boss. We called them the odd couple. I would take them with me to work often and Pike made sales calls with me. He was truly my road dog. We lost them both within a month. We lost them both just before pandemic, they were 16-17 best guess. My son was the one that literally rescued Pike while he was chained to a dumpster in Rittenhouse Square all day in the rain. With lots of patience and love from everyone close, I watched him transform from an otherwise unfriendly, aggressive, animal hating Pit Bull transform to the sweetest, gentlest, ready to please member of the family. I do not have any formal training training nor have done training professionally but I am up for the challenge. I know and understand the 7 basic commands, hand signals, concepts and have a tremendous amount of patience. There are a lifetime of story's how I was the only one that got along with the shop dog or the neighbors dog or a particular. Hope to meet you and your Pups soon, Rocci I am retired and available 9:00am to 9:00 pm right now I don't need much notice. I am hoping to develop relationships with dogs by providing outstanding service I have a French yard that houses all the dogs and cats and the other animals as well as an area in the garage where we keep all the toys

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was a kid. Grew up with several different pets in the home. Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles you name it! I’ve also fostered and done pet sitting over the years so have experience with animals of all ages and ones that may need some extra loving or medical needs. I am currently working 3 days and week with long weekends available for pet sitting, drop ins, and walks. I have an extra crate if needed. Friday-Monday I am home to spend all the time with your pet! I currently have one dog in the home. He is a very LARGE dog (Great Dane) but very gentle and friendly to all pets and people he meets. I am home all day from Friday-Monday to give you pet all the attention they need. Small fenced in yard and take walks regularly. All pets will be treated with love to make them feel as comfortable as possible while their pet parents are away.

About: I'm a School Counselor with 20+ years experience taking care of others, including my own children, and 30+ years taking care of my own pets. While people are my 'jam', animals are my HEART. I've spent summers grooming dogs and have very few regrets in life - except not pursuing becoming a vet. My life took me in another direction...ANY chance I get I spend it with animals, usually dogs. I walk my neighborhood daily, and would say at least 20% of the time I'm finding a stray dog and returning it to its rightful owner. I can help out with medication administration, nail clipping, etc...and just LOVE spending time cuddling/walking/feeding/taking care of pets, especially dogs. I've trained all of my own pets, including crate training. Pets are where it's AT - now take me to yours and you won't be disappointed! Summers are wide open for me. During the school year, I can be available after 3:30pm daily and up until 7:30pm for drop ins. I’m home most weekends with the occasional soccer game or track meet obligation for my son. I prefer to plan in advance to best meet your pet(s) needs - at least a few days. I have a fenced in yard but am happy to walk your pet. I provided daily oral medication administration for my own 16 year old dog, groomed her, clipped her nails and provided an enormous amount of love and support for her. She was my children's heart. I've owned 4 dogs and 6 cats in my lifetime and enjoyed every single minute of it. In your home, I will care for your babies exactly as I would my own - with care, love and compassion. I will follow any instructions you have and will be happy to help in any other way possible with your pet.

About: I’ve grown up with a dog since I was born. I’ve walked, bathed, brushed, and cared for so many furry friends. I love my dog with all my heart she’s my child. I’ll love yours the same. Pet care is a big part of my day to day. I walk my girly multiple times a day so I don’t mind helping others. Mornings, evenings, and weekends are when I would be available. Showing affection and love first is important. I want to let them come to me when I first meet them so they are comfortable. Making sure their basic needs are met.
