“Troy and Shalah are true animal lovers and are so thoughtful to the needs of the fur baby parents as well! They recently watched my baby Stumpy and kept me updated with texts and so many pictures! I had my first dog sitter cancel and they were so responsive when I reached out to them! I am happy it worked out this way as they are wonderful! Don't hesitate to book them! You won't be disappointed”

“This was our first time using Rover and Michaela did an excellent job. She was interested in the dogs and particularly vigilant about sticking to our care routine considering one of our dogs has some medical needs. She was communicative and sent us updates each day. We couldn't have asked for a better first experience for our babies.”

“Stevie just stayed with our furry crew of 4 (1 dog and 3 cats) for 5 days. She sent GREAT pictures every day, and it was clear that our pets were very happy and comfortable the whole time. They were lying all over her in half the pictures! :D We came home to a happy household, and I'm so grateful for that. We had peace of mind for our furbabies while we were away. Stevie left our house just as she found it. Having never had someone house sit this way before, I was nervous (mostly because I have a quirky old house), but everything went fine. Stevie was respectful of our space, but hopefully also comfortable. I would absolutely book again!”

About: My goal is to provide the pest possible service for your family. I am just getting started with Rover and not so busy yet. I think some great reviews would help and that is good news for you because great reviews require providing great service. Seriously, I am a senior looking to supplement my income like all old guys but I truly love dogs. It may seem strange but I feel a connection and able to communicate. So how about a shot to give you some great service so I can great reviews and fill my calendar a bit. Often times the fewer words the better but below gives you a window into some personal pet experiences. Pets have been a part of my entire life. My first adolescent memory is of Jacque, a prissy French Poodle with an attitude that Mom would let me dress up complete with overcoat, booties and of course a French beret. Ginger was a large orange tabby cat that could have been Garfield's stunt double. My parents attempt at teaching me responsibility actually worked. Married in 1971 our life together started with Figaro, looked just like the cat from Pinocchio. All black with white paws very sneaky, overly curious and slightly narcissistic. Figora belonged to my wife and he made that very clear. Sabrina, a very shiny grey Siamese joined us when my sister went to school. Sabrina was very anti social and did not like anybody. House guests could spend an entire weekend and never see her. She tolerated us but Sabrina and Figora had shall we say, an understanding. Neither were ever outdoors or saw the light of day. With the family developed and 3 boys later came Thunder. He was a rescue Sheppard mix. He was very active, playful, mischievous and very funny. He was more than a handful and we still laugh and talk about things that he did. As he became an adult dog, by years not behavior for sure, friends in a rural area expressed how much they loved Thunder. We just could not break their hearts and allowed them to adopt Thunder. We visited often. After some time Briar came into the picture. My wife's girlfriend became ill and unable to care for a large majestic Bovier de Flanders. Her coat was amazing. Very heavy and thick. Kids on the street would ask if she was a bear. When someone rang the doorbell Briar would announce them and greet them in an extremely loud intimidating manor. The caller could have just opened the door and patted her end and should would just give love and affection. She was kind gentle and helpful to everyone. Except, if you were to approach my wife in an aggressive manor or touch her, you were taking your life in your own hands. She was never taught to protect her, but protect she did. Amazing breed characteristics and lots of stories. We learned she had a UTI and was her kidney. We prolonged her life as long as possible and realized the treatment and medication were selfish on our part and chose her comfort over our love for her. So hard. My most recent pet experience was Pike, a brindle pit bull, male and Roxy, female dachshund. We started to foster them temporarily while my son traveled for work and turned to an extended stay their last years. Roxy ruled the roost for sure and was always funny when you considered their statute let alone breed but she was boss. We called them the odd couple. I would take them with me to work often and Pike made sales calls with me. He was truly my road dog. We lost them both within a month. We lost them both just before pandemic, they were 16-17 best guess. My son was the one that literally rescued Pike while he was chained to a dumpster in Rittenhouse Square all day in the rain. With lots of patience and love from everyone close, I watched him transform from an otherwise unfriendly, aggressive, animal hating Pit Bull transform to the sweetest, gentlest, ready to please member of the family. I do not have any formal training training nor have done training professionally but I am up for the challenge. I know and understand the 7 basic commands, hand signals, concepts and have a tremendous amount of patience. There are a lifetime of story's how I was the only one that got along with the shop dog or the neighbors dog or a particular. Hope to meet you and your Pups soon, Rocci I am retired and available 9:00am to 9:00 pm right now I don't need much notice. I am hoping to develop relationships with dogs by providing outstanding service I have a French yard that houses all the dogs and cats and the other animals as well as an area in the garage where we keep all the toys
About: 🐶💛 Hi, I’m Trevon! Nice to meet you & your fur baby! Ever since I was little, I’ve loved animals with my whole heart. My very first pet — a fluffy rabbit named Gizmo joined my life when I was 10, and I’ve been surrounded by furry friends ever since! I’ve cared for all kinds of pets over the years, including dogs, rabbits, and gerbils I happily took care of everything — feeding, cleaning their spaces, playtime, snuggles, and building real bonds A little more about me! I’ve helped friends & family groom their pets — baths + nail clipping included In 2021, I volunteered with a Petsmart cat rescue I helped clean their spaces, fed them, and made sure they felt loved and entertained My current animal family: • Rita — my sweet lionhead rabbit • Strelka — my energetic 9-month-old Manchester Terrier puppy We’re currently working on training, and I love watching her grow each day! She’s good around other dogs and people though! Animals truly bring joy into my life, and I’d be honored to take care of your pet like part of my own family I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! ✨ My Daily Pet-Care Routine ✨ I currently work night shift, but I’m usually home between 6:40–7:00 AM. Morning I arrive home and feed my dog, then we play, cuddle, and bond for a few hours After a short break, she goes outside around 9:30–10:00 AM for fresh air & potty time Midday Around 12:00–12:30 PM, I feed my girls again They eat twice a day, but I’m happy to follow your dog/cat’s feeding schedule! Afternoon Another potty/play break around 2:00 PM Back outside again around 3:00 PM Evening • She’s allowed to stay out of her crate freely until about 8:00 PM, which is her cozy “bedtime” At this time I’m willing to do Client drop in , day time day care your pets will be treated like mine , grooming (only bathes & nail clipping) and dog walking.
“Naomi is an amazing sitter, I feel very lucky to have had her stay with our dog while we traveled. She is a considerate houseguest, very communicative and so patient with our doggo. We will be having Naomi as our sitter from now on!”

About: My Bernese mountain dog is my whole world. I never imagined I would have a 100 pound gentle giant but here we are- and I truly love it! I recently left my decade-long career in executive recruiting to create more balance and joy in my life and I couldn’t be happier. Being home more and adding even more dog love into my days has been incredibly fulfilling. Dog walking and pet care are now my full time focus which allows me to be very flexible and reliable for my clients. Walking, dropping in, sitting …they all genuinely bring happiness to my day :) I have experience walking and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I love working with my clients on any training they are working on and I’m patient and more than understanding of any quirks, special needs, and unique personalities the animals may have! Every animal is different, and I make it a priority to tailor care to what makes ur pup most comfortable and happy! I’ll make sure your dog gets exactly what they need during each visit- whether it’s a brisk walk, playtime, or endless belly rubs. But no matter what, everyone gets LOTS of loving while in my care :) I also love taking pictures of all my pups which my clients tend to appreciate :) I give lots of detailed updates so you know how your pup is doing and can be at ease! —- We only allow one doggie visitor at a time! (Plus our loving berner). We love to have scar and our doggie visitors on the sofa and even in the bed if they like that :) and we have a great fenced in yard! My husband lives with us too so dogs that are afraid of men wouldn’t be a fit for us. He is very nice I promise ;) My gentle giant Scarlet is glued to my side all day! My husband and I have both worked from home her whole life so she is quite the Velcro dog. We walk 2 or 3 times a day usually and we love to go to the park! My whole day involves Scarlet in the best way :) We have a fenced in yard with sliding door access so the dogs can go in and out as they please. The fence is the while vinyl type so it’s solid with no gaps to escape through. My 3 year old bernese is more of a lay down kind of gal but she doesnt mind playing a little with other dogs- she just gets tired! I love snuggles and kisses, and I give lots of pets!
“We hope Haley will stay with our cats again! She was communicative throughout our visit, took extra care for our cats' safety (they try to eat EVERYTHING and she took that seriously), and had them playing with her soon after meeting her (not something they do with everyone). We felt very comfortable knowing that she was with them.”

“Cannot say great enough things about Gabrielle! She took wonderful care of my pups. One of my pups is challenging but she handled it with ease. I would highly recommend Gabrielle!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for over 30 years. I currently have 7 rescue dogs who range in age from 3-16 and weigh 6-26 lbs. I’m also an active foster for the Burlington County Animal Alliance. I’ve fostered close to 30 dogs this past year alone. I currently work full time, but am home Fridays Saturday and Sundays. The days I’m home I will take excellent care of any babies I’m dog sitting. I have a spacious backyard with a secure 6-foot fence, perfect for safe playtime. My home is full of happy pups who love making new friends. I do have crates available if needed, but most dogs prefer snuggling in bed with me or relaxing on one of the many cozy dog beds throughout the house.
About: Hi! I’m Kristen, a lifelong animal lover who’s cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and even reptiles. I’ve grown up surrounded by pets and know how special they are. I’ll treat your furry (or scaly) family member with the same love and care I give my own. Right now I work for an elementary school so I can be available before or after the school day and longer based on your needs/preferences. “Shantaya Did an AMAZING job caring for my Ramses in my home. She was caring and attentive and kept regular communication of Ramses well-being. Ramses is a LARGE by LOVABLE Pit mix who can sometimes be hard to handle because of his playful nature. Shantaya was up for the task and went above and beyond in care and service. I highly recommend her.”

“Randi was absolutely wonderful. She was flexible and was very attentive to my dog. My pup is a little on the nervous side, especially with people but she was almost instantly at ease with Randi. Can’t say enough about her.”

“Lauren is an all-star human. She took amazing care of our girl Nala. She communicated with us daily including photos and how the day went- and made sure to ask questions if she needed to. It was a very long, daunting work trip week and coming home to a clean house and a dog who was clearly loved on and very happy filled our hearts ❤️. It was obvious that Lauren goes out of her way to make sure everyone is taken care of. Thank you so much Lauren- we would absolutely hire you again and are happy to share referrals for future sits. Blessed to have connected (:”

“Jillian did a fantastic job with Jade! Great communication, cute pictures, kept the house clean and even brought in our mail! Jade had a great time with her. We recommend Jillian as a dogsitter!”

Edgewater Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jimi provided wonderful care in our home for our three dogs while we traveled for a weekend family event. He sent us pictures daily of the dogs having fun in and outside our home, and even raked the leaves in our yard! We’ll definitely be calling Jimi again to take care of our pups when we travel!

Alyssa was wonderful! Will use her again! This was my first experience with having a dog sitter and through this site! Would highly recommend! Alyssa came prior to our vacation and met us and lady. Super sweet girl! During our trip she kept in contact since she knew I was nervous and sent lots of pictures! Thank you again Alyssa!

Sarah is the sweetest she came to the rescue when our other sitter backed out last minute. We were so excited to know she was a vet tech and also a service dog trainer ( our vinnie is a service dog in training ) Sarah understood the dynamic as one of our dogs is not nice towards one of the others ( we have 3 ) so she needed to keep the 2 separated . Sarah kept our home clean which is a challenge with the mud pit in the yard especially since it rained every day she was here . she even changed the sheets before she left. She sent daily pics and updates keeping us at ease while away from our fur babies. We will definitely use her services again both service training and also pet sitting . We highly recommend Sarah. And thank you for being so awesome!!!
