🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I cannot speak highly enough of Lucy! She provided exceptional care for my furry companion while I was away, going above and beyond by staying overnight to ensure my dog felt safe and loved. From the moment I entrusted my dog to Lucy, I knew I had made the right choice. Her dedication and affection towards my dog were truly remarkable. She maintained all of his routines, provided ample playtime, and ensured he received the attention and care he deserved. Throughout my time away, Lucy kept me updated with frequent photos and messages, giving me peace of mind and allowing me to enjoy my trip knowing my dog was in good hands. It was evident that she genuinely cares for the well-being of my dog under her care. Upon my return, I found my dog not only well looked after but also in high spirits, showing signs of a calm, happy and fulfilling time spent with Lucy. Their bond was undeniable, and it was clear that my dog had been showered with love and attention. If you are seeking a responsible, caring, and dedicated dog sitter who goes the extra mile, Lucy is the one to choose. I am immensely grateful for her exceptional service and will undoubtedly be reaching out to her for future pet-sitting needs. Thank you, Lucy, for your outstanding care and for treating my dog like family!

About: I have experience with all types of animals from cats, dogs, birds, and even chinchillas. Walking them is a pleasure and also makes me happy since they also get some time out of the house. I’m available to walk in the mornings to get that early rise as well as in the afternoons! It’s nice to get to walk outside and get some sunshine but also chill if needed. For my pets on my home as well as my clients I make sure they’re stimulated enough as well as have all the care they need.

About: I have been a pet owner for over five years with two cats and one dog that I love so much back in my home state! With that I have over five years of pet care experience. While in college here i’m Chicago, my friends and teammates trust me to walk, feed, and keep their pets safe while working or away on vacation! Available for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Weekends as well! I am pretty flexible with time so just let me know what times work best for you and if you need me to take care of your pet a little longer! Pets are family! So I ensure to monitor them closely and pick up on any signs, issues, and concerns that may negatively impact their safety. I always as pet owners if there is anything specific in their home or on walks that I need to look out for. Such as things their pet may tend to get into or walking routes that have potential hazards.

This was our first time using Rover and Michaela did an excellent job. She was interested in the dogs and particularly vigilant about sticking to our care routine considering one of our dogs has some medical needs. She was communicative and sent us updates each day. We couldn't have asked for a better first experience for our babies.

Highly recommend Gabrielle for pet sitting and walks! She took care of our goldendoodle and cat at our house while we were away. She is great at sticking to their routine and gives great pictures/updates along the way. She is reliable, friendly, and trustworthy. Left the house in great shape. We feel so at ease when traveling knowing they are in good hands. It’s hard for me to be away from our dog but she makes it easy and I know I can relax!

About: When my family adopted our first dog, Jennie, a German Shepard mix, I had made it a priority to walk her almost everyday and play with her so she was never bored. I also helped train her when she was a puppy, teaching her how to sit and how to give her paw. I also took care of her when she became older, helping her down stairs and cooking her healthy treats like salmon and chicken. My family has since had two different foster dogs (American bully and Pitbull) that I love to spend time and go on walks with. I’m currently home from college for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands and would love to spend it with your pets! I will always keep a vigilant eye on your pet and do my best to make them as happy as possible. I spend a lot of time outside in my fenced yard with my dog, so I will be sure to give your dog the same amount of attention.

We hope Haley will stay with our cats again! She was communicative throughout our visit, took extra care for our cats' safety (they try to eat EVERYTHING and she took that seriously), and had them playing with her soon after meeting her (not something they do with everyone). We felt very comfortable knowing that she was with them.

Naomi was communicative, made sure she understood all of our dog’s needs ahead of time, was timely, and shared tons of updates during her time with our pup. We feel super lucky to have met her! And she definitely has a special way with dogs — my girl is super anxious and was cuddling with Naomi after just a couple hours of hang time.

Our first time having Kayleigh with our 2 small pups, turned out to be the best choice possible. Having not had anyone before stay for 2 days, we were wondering how things would go. Kayleigh sent numerous photos and updates depicting how happy and well taken care of our pups were. Little accidents from my senior dog didn't phase her at all. We felt so comfortable with the care and attention given by Kayleigh. I would love to use her again .

Above and beyond! I cannot begin to express how amazing of a job Vanessa did watching our 2 dogs ands house. We booked Vanessa with only a few days notice due to another dog sitter canceling. She was a total hit with our 2 dogs, and also took on a ton of extra unexpected responsibilities. We had an issue with some outdoor cats that required a lot of extra support and she didn’t hesitate to jump in and help. My wife and I are so unbelievably grateful for her assistance while we were away. I cannot recommend her enough. We will forever be utilizing her expertise in the future.

FAQs for House Sitting - Willingboro

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Willingboro on Rover is $38.85 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 5,484 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Willingboro. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Willingboro walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Willingboro maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Willingboro choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Willingboro. On Rover:

  • 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
