About: I have been an animal advocate since I was volunteering at the PSPCA during my childhood. I’m a former Humane Police Officer in Philadelphia. About: I have owned dogs and cats of all sizes and I am comfortable with both puppies and senior animals. I have a secure, large yard, air conditioning, and full-time availability to spoil your pet. (My dog has passed so no pets live in the home). I'm very attuned to animals needs and make sure they're comfortable and calm. I am happy to host multiple pets at once as long as your pet is friendly (can host cats alone without other animals). I work from home part time. My house is very chill and my schedule is flexible. I rarely need to leave the house, and if your dog has separation anxiety i can plan to be fully available. I drive so I can attend to pets as needed throughout the day and evening at your home. If at my home, we will mostly hang out on the first floor where your pet can access food and water. I provide frequent bathroom breaks and time out in the yard (or a quick walk around the neighborhood). At clients homes, I make sure the pet is comfortable in its natural environment, play, and take them outside as needed.

The most important thing I have learned in my experience with dogs is that they are all different regardless of breed. I cannot wait to build a bond with your furry friend and give them the care they deserve! Additionally, I have received professional training for use of an e-collar and prong collar, should your furry friend need to be walked with either of those. On the weekdays, I usually get home around 6:30, and I like to go for a leisurely walk as opposed to the gym, so it would be the perfect time to walk your furry friend! Additionally, I work as a grad student in a research lab, and I make my own work schedule. So, my schedule is relatively flexible, and I can be available in the early morning or late night if need be. I own a German shepherd, so I am very experienced in providing the time and attention necessary to stimulate and occupy your furry friend during our walks. Additionally, the apartment complex I live in has a private dog park that your furry friend can be taken to if you’re interested.

Naomi stayed in my house with my 15 year old diabetic kitty for 15 days. She did an excellent job, giving her insulin shots twice a day as well as normal kitty and house sitting duties. Highly recommend Jimi! Taking care of a mama dog and 4-week-old puppies is no easy task, but he handled it flawlessly.
