About: I have cared for family and friends pets since I was 14 years old. Combined with my love for animals and attention to detail, my skill set has helped to create a special experience for each pets needs. From energetic dogs needing more patience and structure to senior pets who need a little more tend love and care! I am currently working full-time, 7am-2:30pm (M-F). About: Hi! I'm Melissa! A little bit about me. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats. Since the moment I was born, I was raised alongside dogs and cats and at one point in my childhood we had three large breed dogs and 2 cats at once, so fun and crazy! This always nurtured my deep appreciation for animals from an early age. One of our family dogs even had three litters of puppies during my teenage years, giving me hands on experience caring for dogs and puppies of all ages and sizes. Today, I have my own dog in my own family home, a 76 pound English Coonhound rescue from Arkansas. About: I’ve had animals my whole life and love every type breed and size. I am the go to friend when a friend needs someone to come let their dogs out or watch them over a weekend. I have a 3 year old Pitt/Staffy that I rescued when he was very young. I work 4 days a week, which I will typically block off, but am home several times for walks and care. If needing days covered outside my availability, given it would be a good fit and pickup/dropoff works with my schedule, I can try to accommodate. I block off any time I’ll be out of town and mainly just chill at home with my own pitty otherwise. We go on daily walks for the needed exercise and energy burn. My apartment is smaller but we have a great neighborhood to walk in. We have Pennypack park I go to for walks frequently and visit other outdoor dog parks in Jersey once a weekend. About: I love dogs, especially the ones that may not be the best walkers and best trained. My 15 year old shiba recently passed and I miss taking walks and caring for him daily. As I study society and the environment, I have a deep appreciation for the meanings we give to our pets because of the joy they bring us. My love for animals has been with me my entire life, as I can’t remember a time when my fondness for furry companions wasn’t there! I’ve owned my dog Cody for 10 years, and I still remember how, for the longest time, getting a dog was the gift I wanted most growing up. When my parents finally agreed, it marked the beginning of a series of memories and shared experiences with Cody. My love for pets has led me to spend a lot of time researching the care required for all sorts of animals, and I’m happy to provide attentive and compassionate care for your companion! (: As a college student on summer break, I have ample time to give to petsitting and will ensure I give adequate care to all pets! I care for pets like they’re my own! Even before having pets myself, I was always focused on learning how to properly care for animals. I still remember convincing my parents to let me get a hamster as a child by researching everything it needed beforehand. I understand that every pet is different, so I’m happy to follow any specific routines, instructions, or care needs to make sure your companion feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
About: I basically grew up in a dog house- my family bred poodles, so caring for puppies was just part of the daily routine. I’ve been walking, feeding, bathing, and spoiling dogs for as long as I can remember! I take pet safety seriously. From secure harness checks to staying alert on every walk. At home, I have two mini goldendoodles (Rooney F/4yo and Georgie M/2yo), my cats Buckbeak (M/2yo) and Ron (M/1yo) who thinks they run the house. Pets are family to me, and I treat every dog I walk like they’re one of my own. My weekday availability is mainly afternoons and evenings, so your dog still gets plenty of dedicated one-on-one time and attention after 4pm. Weekend availability may vary depending on the day, but I’m always happy to coordinate when possible. I follow your routines and instructions to keep your dog(s) and cat(s) comfortable, safe, and happy whether we’re at your place or out exploring the neighborhood! My mornings are wide open, so your dog gets top-tier walking time before 2pm. I’m basically a morning person for dogs only. Evenings and weekends could potentially work depending on the day. I take pet safety seriously — from secure harness checks to staying alert on every walk. At home, I have two friendly miniature goldendoodles and a chill cat who supervises from the sidelines. I follow your routines and instructions to keep your dog comfortable, safe, and happy whether we’re at your place or out exploring the neighborhood!

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and bunnies since I was younger. I currently have two bunnies of my own. Friends and family have relied on me to watch their pets, walk them, play with them, etc. Pet lover at heart. I do work from home mostly so I can work around my schedule. I currently work from home 8-4, so I have relatively open availability for all of your needs. My schedule fluctuates week to week based on meetings, etc. Open to walks and drop in visits as long as my schedule allows. I currently have two pet rabbits that are in a gated area. I have enough space in my apartment to accommodate your pet if needed. My apartment complex has a fenced in dog park and lots of areas for walking.
About: Hi! I'm Melissa! A little bit about me. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats. Since the moment I was born, I was raised alongside dogs and cats and at one point in my childhood we had three large breed dogs and 2 cats at once, so fun and crazy! This always nurtured my deep appreciation for animals from an early age. One of our family dogs even had three litters of puppies during my teenage years, giving me hands on experience caring for dogs and puppies of all ages and sizes. Today, I have my own dog in my own family home, a 76 pound English Coonhound rescue from Arkansas. Despite his high energy levels, strength and tendency to pull on the leash, I handle him confidently and independently. I adopted him through Philly Rescue Angels Inc., where I am also an approved foster. Family and friends have relied on me for years from a young age to let out, walk, feed, and play with their dogs whether it be when they need help on short notice or go on an extended vacation. In addition to my experience with dogs, I’ve had cats throughout my life and have fostered them as well. One of my cats even needed daily insulin injections for diabetes and I always handled that myself. My background has given me a well rounded understanding of animal care, and I take pride in my ability to provide attentive, compassionate, and responsible care for all of your pets! Since I am a nurse, I also understand most medical conditions and medication administration and precautions for pets as well, they're more similar to us than we realize! I am a registered nurse whom only works 3 days per week. I am quite flexible in my schedule and can move around my days easily if requested! I have a fenced in yard. I have a friendly dog to play with your pup! And an extra large crate if you need your pet crated at all. Pets are allowed on furniture in my house as well!

About: I’ve had animals my whole life and love every type breed and size. I am the go to friend when a friend needs someone to come let their dogs out or watch them over a weekend. I have a 3 year old Pitt/Staffy that I rescued when he was very young. I work 4 days a week, which I will typically block off, but am home several times for walks and care. If needing days covered outside my availability, given it would be a good fit and pickup/dropoff works with my schedule, I can try to accommodate. I block off any time I’ll be out of town and mainly just chill at home with my own pitty otherwise. We go on daily walks for the needed exercise and energy burn. My apartment is smaller but we have a great neighborhood to walk in. We have Pennypack park I go to for walks frequently and visit other outdoor dog parks in Jersey once a weekend. I have an extra crate if it’s needed and lots of toys.
