About: Although I didn’t grow up around cats, I recently had the opportunity to foster a cat through the local humane society! She was a young and energetic cat who was rescued as a stray, but had to be kept in isolation from other animals due to a communicable illness. Once we took her in, giving her the space to rest and rehab comfortably, she made a quick recovery and was adopted after a couple short months, once she was medically cleared! This taught me so much about tending to the needs of rescue animals and specifically monitoring any health concerns!

I worked at a zoo in England for a summer when I was a bit younger and from then, I grew a genuine passion for animals. Gregory has provided dog walks and overnight care for our 60lb hound mix multiple times over the last few months and we couldn't be happier with the care he provides. He is incredibly communicative, provides very detailed updates after every walk (with plenty of pictures included), and has shown the utmost dedication to understanding our dog Izzy and her specific behavioral needs. We have worked with many positive reinforcement trainers in the past to address our pups over-excitability and leash reactivity and Gregory using much of the same language as these dog trainers when discussing strategies he used on his walks with Izzy to help redirect and keep her focused and safe. Our pup is very scent driven on walks which can require a lot of patience and steady redirection, and we are so grateful for how kind and gentle Gregory is when handling Izzy. We've only had one overnight experience with Gregory so far and he took great care of our home and left the house spotless! He also ensured us that he only books one overnight stay at a time to avoid any conflicts in schedule and make sure our dog has company throughout the night and to keep her safe in the event of an emergency. All that being said, you will have no regrets choosing with work with Gregory and we feel very fortunate to have found him!”

About: Leanna and I have had dogs all of our lives. We have a dog name Gus now. He’s an Australian cattle dog. He’s very active and sweet. We have taken care of a few dogs while their owners were on vacation. We absolutely love it. A dogs unconditional love is the best feeling. You could have the worst day ever but a dog can make you smile for that moment. We are familiar with giving dogs medication. I had a dog that suffered from seizures and I had to medicate her twice a day. Matt works as a nurse full time. 12 hour days 3 days a week. Leanna works full time as well in the medical field. About: Hello! My name is Ryan and I grew up with many animals in the Poconos, but I've always had a passion for dogs. Now I'm in the Philadelphia area working full time at a doggie daycare in south Philadelphia. I am available Monday - Friday before 1pm for walks. I am usually unavailable on weekends for walks. Boarding can be accommodated with notice. I work every other weekend. I have a one bedroom with my partner in Germantown which isn't far from from my favorite hiking spots. It's a very walkable neighborhood with great gardens to observe.

“Annette and Martin were perfect. Scrappy felt so comfortable in their house during the meet & greet that he just laid down and snoozed while we chatted. Scrappy instantly liked them both and even bared his tummy to Martin for lots of petting. The daily photos and videos in their Facebook page was the best antidote to ease my mind. It was nice to see the dogs playing around their huge backyard. It was also nice to see that the dogs were allowed free range to most of their house. I highly recommend them!”

“Our experience with Jaclyn has been very successful. The dogs are excited to see us when we pick them up, but not desperate! One of our dogs is super fearful and she still shies away from everyone. This past time, she went over to Jaclyn and sniffed at her feet. That’s her way of saying that she is feeling good about her! “Hardy was a great host, but unfortunately Anastasia succumbed to really bad separation anxiety when left in a crate and broke out of the crate. We know now she cannot be kept in a crate and must be supervised most of the time.”
