Achilles is a very high energy kind of dog; you have to be great to handle him! Jovani did exceptionally well with him. What made my heart smile is the way Achilles ran towards his door and also jumped for joy when I dropped him both days! Achilles is a very smart dog; if you are bad with him, he runs away from you but if you are good with him, he'll be all over you any time he sets his eyes on you! Trust me, your dog will have a great time with Jovani! I am so happy Achilles has a second home where he is loved & taken care of! I would have given a 10 star rating if there was one!!!

About: Hi! My name is Amanda and I’m a dependable animal lover with experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I’ve had dogs and cats all my life, which has given me a strong understanding of animal care and behavior. I have experience with large breeds including German Shepherds and Huskies, chocolate labs and small breeds as well so I’m comfortable with energetic dogs and long walks. I understand how important pets are to a family and will treat your pet like my own while providing safe, loving, and reliable care. I work Monday- Friday from home so your baby will almost never be alone while staying over. My morning normally begins around 6a.m. With my day ending around midnight. I have a large fenced in yard perfect for catching some sun rays and getting the zombies out. I do have two dogs to keep your furry baby comfy. However if you would like them to be separated I can keep them separated on different floors in my home.

About: I have owned dogs and cats of all sizes and I am comfortable with both puppies and senior animals. I have a secure, large yard, air conditioning, and full-time availability to spoil your pet. (My dog has passed so no pets live in the home). I'm very attuned to animals needs and make sure they're comfortable and calm. I am happy to host multiple pets at once as long as your pet is friendly (can host cats alone without other animals). I work from home part time. My house is very chill and my schedule is flexible. I rarely need to leave the house, and if your dog has separation anxiety i can plan to be fully available. I drive so I can attend to pets as needed throughout the day and evening at your home. If at my home, we will mostly hang out on the first floor where your pet can access food and water. I provide frequent bathroom breaks and time out in the yard (or a quick walk around the neighborhood). At clients homes, I make sure the pet is comfortable in its natural environment, play, and take them outside as needed.

About: We own two large dogs- an Australian cattle dog/Anatolian shepherd/Hound mix, and a yellow Labrador retriever. They are very high energy and unique with lively personalities. We love to take them on bicycle rides/walks through the woods and neighborhood. We both have experience with dogs- John dog-sat as a child and has had family dogs as well, and I grew up on a farm with 10-15 inside/outside dogs all my life as well as many other animals. We have a big back yard that is fenced in, we also live next to a big state park that is loads of fun for any animal! Our entire family and our friends also have dogs, so when we all get together we usually have about 12-14 dogs all together at once running around playing and having fun! We would love to be able to help others who own dogs and have a busy schedule live life while knowing their beloved pet is well taken care of!

About: I love animals. I just lost my dog after 14 years so I am very experienced. Perfect home for those dogs who are unpredictable with other dogs or small children. ZERO TOLERANCE FOR DOGS THAT HAVE ANY POTENTIAL AGGRESSION TOWARDS PEOPLE. I am for the most part home and available while caring for your dog. The most I may leave them alone is one hour, only if necessary. I only sit one dog at a time (unless from same owner) to avoid any dog skirmishes. I usually feed and take your dog out at 7am. We go for a 30 min walk around 11am. Thereafter there are multiple potty breaks in the backyard on a lead. Last potty break is around 9-10pm. They are welcome to sleep with me in my bed if they are clean.

Debbie was amazing! She gave our new 13 week old puppy great care! I had a last minute change in plans and needed a sitter for the entire day and Debbie made herself available on super short notice. Her consistent and ongoing communication throughout the day put us at ease. Our kids were so excited every time we received photos during the day. I highly recommend Debbie!!!!!!

Jenny was absolutely wonderful with our dog. We were in town for a few hours and needed a sitter. We dropped our dog off and she seemed immediately comfortable with Jenny and her dog. Jenny has a very nice yard with plenty of space for the dogs. She was prompt and communicative, and we really felt like we could trust her. Highly recommend!

About: I provide more than just pet care—I treat every dog like a member of my family. I have experience with puppies, including housetraining and basic obedience, as well as caring for senior dogs who need extra attention, gentle handling, and medication reminders. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, so I tailor my care to keep them happy, safe, and comfortable. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or cuddles, your furry friend will always feel loved and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I make time every day for walks, play, feeding, and attention, so dogs feel loved and engaged. Whether it’s a quick potty break or a long walk, I structure my day to ensure pets get consistent care, exercise, and companionship. On a weekly basis, I make sure to balance active play, training reinforcement, and quiet time, so every dog I care for stays happy and healthy. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for every pet, whether in my home or yours. In my home, dogs enjoy plenty of supervised playtime, walks, and cuddles, along with comfortable resting areas and regular meals. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow your routines closely—feeding, walking, medication, and any special instructions—so your pet feels secure and comfortable in familiar surroundings. My goal is always to provide consistency, attention, and affection, making sure every pet feels happy and cared for while you’re away.

About: I grew up with both dogs🐶 and cat🐱 so I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I have a ShihTzu named Chloe - she is 5 years old and is so sweet. She loves socializing with other dogs - she is calm yet has her playful moments as well. My close friends, family members and neighbors have trusted me to take care of their fur babies throughout the years. I recently decided to make a Rover account to help others who need a trusted individual take care of their fur baby(s). Please message me if you have any questions! 🐾 • I currently work remote from 9am-5pm. I am fully available nights and weekends. • I take Chloe out between 7:30-8:00am to use the potty/10 minute walk. Then I give her a Greenie and her breakfast. • I take Chloe out around 12/12:30 for a potty break followed by a treat and some playtime. • Around 5pm I take Chloe out for a potty break and a 15 minute walk. Sometimes I will take her to the dog park or she will socialize with other dogs on our walk around the community. Afterwards, I feed her dinner. • I take Chloe out around 9pm for another short walk/potty break. I then sometimes take her out again around 10-10:30 before we go to bed. • I have the flexibility to take care of your fur baby(s) during the day, evenings & weekends.🐾 • I live on the first floor of an apartment complex that is extremely dog friendly. They have two dog parks - (one for big and one for small dogs) which are both conveniently located across from my building! A good number of residents in my community have a dog so there is plenty of socializing. • I do not crate Chloe however, if you prefer to have your fur baby crated, please let me know and that can be arranged.

Lee is wonderful! It was my first time leaving my dog with her and Rocco was in great hands. Very communicative, friendly and knew exactly how to handle him as he can be a bit anxious when leaving him. I came back home with a happy and tired dog haha from all the playing :) I will be using her more often in the future. Cannot recommend her enough!!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Franklin Park

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Franklin Park on Rover is $44.4 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 2,492 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Franklin Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Franklin Park commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,492 sitters in Franklin Park, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
