“Jenna is soooo wonderful! She took the best care of our cats and helped us out tremendously from taking the time to kick up some extra food, extending her services for a family loss, and just reassuring my husband and I through her rover cards, messages, etc that she has a vested interest in ensuring our pets were taken care of. Thank you, Jenna!! We will absolutely be requesting your services in the future!😃”

“Stephanie is the absolute best!!! 🐶❤️ Whenever I need someone to take care of Cooper, I never hesitate to call her. She treats him with so much love, like he’s her own. Even when she’s not available, she always tries to make time just to come see Cooper. We are so grateful to have her!”

“Kayleigh did a wonderful cat with my cat this weekend! She sent lots of photos and updates and gave him lots of love and attention. She is kind and professional, and I would highly recommend her to a friend!”

“This is the second time we had Amber check in on our babies this month and I had to write another review because we’re so pleased. Amber even took the time to put on the dog hoodies for walk time because it was cold out. So sweet. Thank you again Amber!”

“Once again Caitlyn was a fantastic sitter for our cat. Prompt communication, cute updates daily, and we could tell our cat was well taken care of while we were away. Would definitely recommend and book again.”

“Haley is very attentive to my 4 cats, she goes above and beyond to make sure they are cared for and my mind is at ease when traveling. Absolutely recommend her as a pet sitter!”

“Kera Ann was great!! I love knowing I can go out for the afternoon/evening without worrying about my pups!!! She plays with them, makes sure they potty and is comfortable correcting our wild one so we can reinforce getting him to stop chewing dirt!! Thank you Kera Ann!!”

“Alexis is heaven sent! She is a protector of animals! She truly cares for their welfare. Sitting is more than a job to her, she enjoys her time with the pups. Alexis sent us multiple videos And photos every day. Opal doesn’t take to new people well but almost every picture she was being petted by Alexis. Thank you for the amazing care! You are the best!!!!”

“Alanna always goes above and beyond to make sure our pups are happy and healthy and our home is secure. She doesn't hesitate to reach out if something seems out of the ordinary. And I guarantee our dogs would rate her 1000 stars for making their time together so fun.”

“Krystal has been fantastic so far, doing regular drop ins while my husband and I work long hours. My dogs have some quirks but she has been great with them. We hope to keep using her long term!”

“Stasha took great care of my cat. Due to unforeseen circumstances I could only give very short notice, but even so, Stasha stepped right in for me and gave me peace of mind. 5/5 would recommend!”

“Samantha did a great job visiting my Moxie. She visited her and walked her. She did more than requested and Moxie was tired out from all the attention. Samantha sent a lot of pictures of the visit, which aloud me to see how much fun Moxie was having. I will be using her again!”
“Alivia took care of my two orange cats with totally different personalities and even one that ended up needing medication! I am so thankful for her attention to detail, conversation and daily updates and photos. Even the photos were top notch! Thank you!!”

About: I have 12 years of experience sitting and walking dogs and puppies. I have 6 years of experience caring for senior pets. I am highly trusted and rated across multiple pet care sites. I have just made the return to Rover. I love to love animals and will give your fur baby the same that I give my own. I am a retired veteran and student. I primarily work from home when I am not travelling. I create my own schedule, so I am available whenever I am needed. I am currently utilizing TrustedHouseSitters as well. I treat a client's home better than my own. I know how important it is for an animal to feel safe and secure in their own environment which is why I opt for pet/plant/house sitting over boarding. I always ensure to be communicative with the host about the wellbeing of their fur baby. I understand it is hard to leave a part of the family with someone else. I know that there will be no worries leaving them in my care after we have met and properly gone over your instructions and preferences.

“She was so patient and kind to my baby! Duce is such a cuddle bear but can sometimes be intimidating because of his size and his breed but she was so confident and did such a great job with him!”

“Second booking with Alexis. Appreciate the quick response and short notice availability. Thank you for taking care of Kitty, cleaning after her, and getting our mail. Highly recommend.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Bragg
Ashlynn was so wonderful to our 3 kitties. She went above and beyond for their care, and sent so many photos. Each of our cats have super different personalities, and it was very clear that she paid close attention to their unique needs and silly quirks. She was quick to respond anytime I reached out, and was so patient with me while I navigated Rover services for the first time. Even with unexpected last-minute changes to our schedule, she was flexible and laid-back. It was so very easy to work with her. We will absolutely be reaching out to her for all our future trips. Thank you again for everything, Miss Ashlynn. You were lovely, and our little trio thinks so, too! 💕😻🐾

Megan is an absolute gem! She is such a sweet, kind, and caring soul who took wonderful care of our Remy. She went above and beyond in every aspect of his care, while keeping us wonderfully informed and showing great flexibility the entire time. We couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver!

I just have to leave another review to say how amazing Kayleigh is. She always goes so above and beyond for us and our animals, we’ve had a couple different kinds of scares at this point and she has been so helpful with those. I really can’t recommend her enough!

Jada went above and beyond to care for our cats! Not only on request, but proactively asked questions to help care for them. She gave them medication, lots of playtime, and great progress updates. She even watered our plants!! Can’t recommend highly enough.

Jessica took such great care of our two cats! She asked thoughtful questions about their care from the start, sent check-in photos of them everytime, and was overall a delight to work with. It’s clear she’s a true animal lover and takes caring for them seriously. Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend her enough! She took amazing care of my cats and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She was reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring — it was clear she truly loves animals. She sent updates and photos, followed all instructions perfectly, and my cats were happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I returned. It’s such a relief to find someone you can fully trust with your pets, and I would absolutely book with her again. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my babies!

Carolaine did a fantastic job taking care of my cat while I was away for nearly a month. It was my first time leaving him alone for this long without his brother (who passed away a year ago) and it was clear that Carolaine took the time to give him proper attention (playing with him, giving him pets, applying his daily medication, etc.). Carolaine visited him at a pretty regular time every day and sent pictures with updates. She was also responsive with any supplemental questions I had along the way. I'm happy to have found her and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone who is reliable, responsive, and caring.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fort Bragg. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
