“Thank you Haley for taking such good care of my Doghter. I felt at ease with leaving you in the care of her. Thank you for taking the time to take pictures and give me updates. I look forward to booking with you for future needs. I truly appreciate your services. Thank you”

“Chloe did an amazing job taking care of my two cats while I was gone for 2 weeks. She came over for a meet and greet before we left and she was very nice/ professional. During drop in visits she gave my cats food, water, did the litter box and also gave my one cat an oral medicine while we were away. Every visit she sent pictures and updates. I would highly recommend her to others and would book her again in the future.”

“Colleen was so awesome. She accepted my booking request last minute and worked with me on drop in times to make sure my boys were taken care of. She was great with them during visits and provided photos!”

About: I’m a huge animal lover 🥰 and have about 14 years of experience caring for dogs. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, but mostly smaller breeds. I’ve been around dogs and helping take care of them since I was 11, and I enjoy giving the love, attention, and care they need. I also volunteered at an animals shelter for about 6 months, giving me the chance to work with dogs in need. We have about 4 dogs total in my family, so sometimes I will have 1, or 2, or none at home with me I am new to the city so as of right now, I am not employed. I have open availability to care for all of your pets needs. My weekly routine is pretty simple. I do computer work, play the game, call my family (literally almost every day) and work out from time to time. Animals tend to be pretty comfortable with me. I would love to hang out and spend some time with your pet, maybe watch a series together or go for a walk if the weather is right. I’m a Starbucks type of a girl, so pup cups are always an option
“Rey was great to work with . She communicated well and was very thorough in taking care of my dog. She went over and beyond to make sure my pup was okay while I was out of town.”

“Kimberly was great!! Willow absolutely loved her. She communicated so well and took the absolute best care of Willow while checking in on her. I appreciate her flexibility. I was in a pinch and she really came through for us! Thank you soo much Kimberly.”

“Cecilia was so wonderful! She took such good care of Nala and sent me the best pictures during her home check in. I will definitely reach out to her again :) ?”

“Vanessa is absolutely amazing. My mom was nervous about using the service but Vanessa eased her concerns. She was able to drop on our 3 babies and things were so smooth. We will be repeat clients!”

About: I am home full time since I work remote which allows me to watch, exercise and cuddle with your furry babies, I've been caring for pups and cats for more than 10 years. My remote job is flexible for me to go out every 2 hours to the yard with the pups. Play time is from 8-9am, 6-7pm, rest of the day we do potty breaks. If your pup eats twice a day meal time is 7am and 7pm. I have a large double fenced in yard with security cameras, the pups will always be supervised either outdoors or indoors, for sleep time and naps we have a finished basement just for them to keep them cool and secured at all times.
“Hailey was wonderful. First time using Rover and she calmed all my nerves about it. My dogs were happy and seemed to enjoy her visits. I will be using Hailey again”

“Tyler made it easy for us to plan a night out with the family while our pup is in recovery from multiple surgeries. Concha received lots of pets and love and didn’t even notice we were gone! Thank you, Tyler!”
“I found myself looking for a dog walker for my pup on short notice. Jenna was very accommodating and communicative. After a quick meet and greet, she walked Charlie the next day and it went great! Would recommend her to anyone.”

About: Aside from experience taking care of Cats, and Dogs, I also am experienced in Lizard Care, and I am willing to watch over exotic pets! I am relatively always free. I do plan to start college hopefully soon. However if something comes up, I am always very communitive with clients. I unfortunately do not have the space at my own house to board pets, however as someone staying overnight, or just popping in to take care of things, I am always respective of rules and boundaries. Tell me what I can or can't do, and I will follow that to a T. Pet wise, ill feed, water, and even clean up after them if any accidents occur. and I will ensure to give them lots of love and care as if they were my own. My services also extend to exotic pets. I am more experienced in care of reptiles, specifically lizards, (I am a very avid reptile lover), however if I have any questions I am able to communicate and look to my employer for answers and instruction. Pricing for exotic pets will follow the same listing for dogs!

About: I’m very attentive to dog care, I will follow their feeding/medicine schedule to the dot. I have plenty of experience with elderly dogs & dogs that have special needs. I will always give lots of cuddles and plenty of attention! I tend to spoil any and all the dogs I get to provide care for and I get very attached to all of them. I am also more than happy to send you photographs or small videos of how your dog(s) is/are doing regularly or as often as desired. I treat animals the way I would expect someone to care for mine, as I’m very particular myself and spoil my own dogs very much. I have a fenced in yard, it’s a fairly nice area to have dogs play, run, and roam around. *I’m pretty flexible as far as specific requests and dates go, so if you see me “not available” during certain days, it doesn’t necessarily mean I’m not available, it may just mean I’m stepping out for 1-2 hrs; I like to give dogs I provide care for my full attention. Please contact me if this is the case and need an extended stay for boarding in my home or overnight care in your home.* I love animals. I’d love to care for yours as well! My dogs are always my priority and I’ll make yours one as well! In fact I’m currently fostering one of them and plan on adopting. I have a three bedroom home we just moved into. Don’t let our boxes discourage you from allowing us to care for your fur baby!
About: I've spent the majority of my life tending to various different pets (dogs, cats, & smaller breeds such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and birds). I have great compassion for animals and strive to facilitate a sense of comfort, fun, and care for them. I'm currently abundantly available Sundays through Fridays, not on Saturdays as I work my other job. I understand caring for pets is a constant commitment. I am comfortable integrating calmly into your home space, patiently tending to animals that may require a little extra care, and giving plenty of head pats/belly rubs/cuddles/treats (if they're allowed).

“Margaret did a wonderful job dropping in on our cat while we were out of town. She was awesome at communicating and keeping us informed of what was going on and sent very cute pictures of him while we were away.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Woodlea
I truly cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the communication was clear, professional, and reassuring. My schedule became very unpredictable over a few days and I had to make multiple adjustments, including ultimately canceling the remaining visits. Not only were they flexible and understanding throughout the changes, they even waived the cancellation fee without hesitation. That level of professionalism and kindness is rare. Most importantly, my cat Ninja was incredibly well cared for. He was calm, happy, and clearly comfortable, which means everything to me. It is obvious they genuinely care about the animals they look after and treat them like their own. Dependable, compassionate, flexible, and truly customer focused. I am extremely grateful and would absolutely book again without hesitation. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone they can trust completely with their pet and their home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodlea. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
