About: Hey there, I’m Aja, your reliable pet sitter proudly serving the Fayetteville- Raleigh areas. With 10 years of experience and certified training expertise, I offer personalized, top-notch care for dogs, cats, and small animals because every pet deserves VIP treatment. Let’s chat about how I can keep your furry family members happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Reach out anytime and let’s make sure your pets are in excellent hands. I'm a full-time pet care provider, I’m available daily from 7 AM to 7 PM, ready to offer outstanding pet sitting and expert dog training. Whether your pet needs a safe, loving environment while you're away or personalized training to bring out their best, I’ve got you covered. Message me now to book their care! 🐾 I prioritize maintaining a pet’s regular schedule for meals, walks, and bathroom breaks to provide consistency and reduce stress. Every pet receives personalized care based on their individual needs, whether that includes administering medication, following specific dietary requirements, or accommodating special care instructions. I also respect each client’s home by keeping it tidy, cleaning up after pets, and ensuring their safety while adhering to the owner's preferences. Regular updates, photos, and behavioral observations help keep pet owners informed and reassured while they’re away. My goal is to create a comfortable and secure environment where pets feel happy and well cared for, whether they are staying with me or remaining in their familiar home.

About: I’ve worked professionally with animals for over a year and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and exotic pets of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I previously worked at a dog boarding facility, where I cared for pets with a wide range of needs, including administering medications, caring for senior pets, handling anxious and reactive animals, and following individualized care routines. I currently work as a kennel technician at a veterinary hospital, where I am learning more about animal health and daily medical care. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, giving insulin injections, and safely giving pills to pets that are hesitant to take them with food. I understand how important it is to carefully monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or overall well-being. At home, I also care for 3 cats and 2 lizards, giving me firsthand experience with both traditional and exotic pets. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, elderly, or has special medical needs, I’ll treat them with the same patience, attention, and compassion that I give every animal I care for. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in experienced hands. :) I currently work full-time at a veterinary hospital on a rotating schedule, so my workdays vary from week to week. Because of that, I keep my availability updated regularly. Even on days that I’m working, I’m often available to provide drop-in visits before work, after work, or during other available times depending on my schedule. On my days off, I have much greater flexibility and can accommodate multiple visits or longer stays. I am currently only accepting bookings no longer than 2 weeks. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll always communicate my availability clearly before booking and make sure your pet receives reliable, attentive care. If you have specific timing needs, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to discuss whether I can accommodate them! I believe the best care comes from keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. During each visit, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, potty breaks or litter box care, exercise, playtime, and plenty of love and attention based on their individual personality and needs. I’m happy to administer medications as directed, follow special feeding instructions, and accommodate senior pets or those with medical needs. I always pay close attention to a pet’s behavior and well-being and will let you know immediately if I notice anything concerning. I am totally okay with sending photo and video updates so you can see how your pet is doing. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, go for walks, or simply have someone sit quietly with them, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for until you return. :)) At this time, I primarily provide care in my clients’ homes to help pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I may also be able to care for small caged pets in my home on a case-by-case basis.
“First time booking a drop-in visit and using Jenna. Of course all her reviews were the reason for booking her out and she did not disappoint. Jenna was very communicative, sent me lots of pictures, kept me informed about my two golden retriever, and followed everything that I asked her to do. I will definitely be booking again in the future. Thanks Jenna!”

“Kimberly was excellent with my babies and left really detailed feedback and pictures that gave me a lot of reassurance that they were being well taken care of! I would definitely rebook with Kimberly in the future!”

“Skylar is AMAZING! This was our first time using the Rover app, and we could not have selected a better person to do the drop-in visits for our pups over a long weekend. She kept us posted (in detail), sent us lots of pictures each visit, and made sure that they were well fed, walked, and cared for. We will absolutely be asking for Skylar’s help again.”

About: I have 12 years of experience sitting and walking dogs and puppies. I have 6 years of experience caring for senior pets. I am highly trusted and rated across multiple pet care sites. I have just made the return to Rover. I love to love animals and will give your fur baby the same that I give my own. I am a retired veteran and student. I primarily work from home when I am not travelling. I create my own schedule, so I am available whenever I am needed. I am currently utilizing TrustedHouseSitters as well. I treat a client's home better than my own. I know how important it is for an animal to feel safe and secure in their own environment which is why I opt for pet/plant/house sitting over boarding. I always ensure to be communicative with the host about the wellbeing of their fur baby. I understand it is hard to leave a part of the family with someone else. I know that there will be no worries leaving them in my care after we have met and properly gone over your instructions and preferences.
“Cecilia was AMAZING! She was so communicative and kind to our sweet babies as well as putting my mind at ease with tons of pictures and videos! Would definitely recommend and hire again.”

“Alanna was super friendly and responsive. She went above and beyond taking great care of my ferret, Rick. I loved the pictures she sent and she had great communication. I’ll definitely be using Alanna again in the future !”

“Margaret did a wonderful job dropping in on our cat while we were out of town. She was awesome at communicating and keeping us informed of what was going on and sent very cute pictures of him while we were away.”

“Alivia took care of my two orange cats with totally different personalities and even one that ended up needing medication! I am so thankful for her attention to detail, conversation and daily updates and photos. Even the photos were top notch! Thank you!!”

“This was my first time using Rover and Brittany was awesome! She checked on my kitties and gave them some attention while we were out of town for a few days. She was very kind and attentive and also left detailed notes of how each drop-in went. It was very comforting knowing that my fur babies were in good hands! I would definitely use her services again.”

“All 3 of my dogs enjoyed spending time with Ms. Tyreika during the day to get a potty break and some enrichment/snuggle time. She sent me photos each day and gave me peace of mind that my dogs were well taken care of while I was away.”

“Fantastic, was great with our pups. Came for a prior meet and greet and they both loved her. Sent pictures for each visit with detailed updates. Will reach out again for future puppy sitting needs!”

“Rey was great to work with . She communicated well and was very thorough in taking care of my dog. She went over and beyond to make sure my pup was okay while I was out of town.”

“She was absolutely great! She was so gentle and sweet to our girls, she made sure they were okay before she left and she gave lots of cuddles. Would definitely recommend and will be my go to next time.”

About: I’m very attentive to dog care, I will follow their feeding/medicine schedule to the dot. I have plenty of experience with elderly dogs & dogs that have special needs. I will always give lots of cuddles and plenty of attention! I tend to spoil any and all the dogs I get to provide care for and I get very attached to all of them. I am also more than happy to send you photographs or small videos of how your dog(s) is/are doing regularly or as often as desired. I treat animals the way I would expect someone to care for mine, as I’m very particular myself and spoil my own dogs very much. I have a fenced in yard, it’s a fairly nice area to have dogs play, run, and roam around. *I’m pretty flexible as far as specific requests and dates go, so if you see me “not available” during certain days, it doesn’t necessarily mean I’m not available, it may just mean I’m stepping out for 1-2 hrs; I like to give dogs I provide care for my full attention. Please contact me if this is the case and need an extended stay for boarding in my home or overnight care in your home.* I love animals. I’d love to care for yours as well! My dogs are always my priority and I’ll make yours one as well! In fact I’m currently fostering one of them and plan on adopting. I have a three bedroom home we just moved into. Don’t let our boxes discourage you from allowing us to care for your fur baby!

Alexis is amazing! We’ve booked her several times for drop in visits for our dogs and cats, and she always provides excellent communication and updates while we’re away. She takes such great care of our animals, and we never have to worry knowing they’re in her hands. It gives us so much peace of mind when traveling, and we truly appreciate the love and attention she gives our pets. Highly recommend!

Amazing as always. My Stanley is a very anxious cat that usually hides from sitters, but Lindsey has great energy and he always comes out to see her and get love! Thank you for your extra help with packages and our trash cans attempting to flee the neighborhood. We appreciate you so much!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
