About: Aside from experience taking care of Cats, and Dogs, I also am experienced in Lizard Care, and I am willing to watch over exotic pets! I am relatively always free. I do plan to start college hopefully soon. However if something comes up, I am always very communitive with clients. I unfortunately do not have the space at my own house to board pets, however as someone staying overnight, or just popping in to take care of things, I am always respective of rules and boundaries. Tell me what I can or can't do, and I will follow that to a T. Pet wise, ill feed, water, and even clean up after them if any accidents occur. and I will ensure to give them lots of love and care as if they were my own. My services also extend to exotic pets. I am more experienced in care of reptiles, specifically lizards, (I am a very avid reptile lover), however if I have any questions I am able to communicate and look to my employer for answers and instruction. Pricing for exotic pets will follow the same listing for dogs!
“I booked Nicole last minute due to unforeseen changes to my plans and she was sooooo helpful. Her communication was timely and she really made me feel at ease. She made sure my sweet boy ate, went to potty and played with him too! I will definitely be rebooking!!”

“Crystal came in to save the day by accommodating a quick drop in for our two dogs, Odin and Lucy, last minute. It was a relief for us to know our dogs would be let out while we were gone for a short day trip. She went above and beyond by not only letting our pups out but also bringing in two of our packages that were delivered to our door. We would highly recommend her!”

About: I've spent the majority of my life tending to various different pets (dogs, cats, & smaller breeds such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and birds). I have great compassion for animals and strive to facilitate a sense of comfort, fun, and care for them. I'm currently abundantly available Sundays through Fridays, not on Saturdays as I work my other job. I understand caring for pets is a constant commitment. I am comfortable integrating calmly into your home space, patiently tending to animals that may require a little extra care, and giving plenty of head pats/belly rubs/cuddles/treats (if they're allowed).
“Kimberly was great!! Willow absolutely loved her. She communicated so well and took the absolute best care of Willow while checking in on her. I appreciate her flexibility. I was in a pinch and she really came through for us! Thank you soo much Kimberly.”

“Cecilia is amazing! She was very caring for my cat Silver. She sent lots of photos and even brought my mail in for me too. You won’t be disappointed having her care for your fur babies!”

“Raychel has been a godsend to our family. Our pups love her and she is very patient and loving towards them. Raychel has been very accommodating and punctual to provide the break my pups need during the day. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their animals.”
“Fantastic, was great with our pups. Came for a prior meet and greet and they both loved her. Sent pictures for each visit with detailed updates. Will reach out again for future puppy sitting needs!”

About: I’m a huge animal lover 🥰 and have about 14 years of experience caring for dogs. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, but mostly smaller breeds. I’ve been around dogs and helping take care of them since I was 11, and I enjoy giving the love, attention, and care they need. I also volunteered at an animals shelter for about 6 months, giving me the chance to work with dogs in need. We have about 4 dogs total in my family, so sometimes I will have 1, or 2, or none at home with me I am new to the city so as of right now, I am not employed. I have open availability to care for all of your pets needs. My weekly routine is pretty simple. I do computer work, play the game, call my family (literally almost every day) and work out from time to time. Animals tend to be pretty comfortable with me. I would love to hang out and spend some time with your pet, maybe watch a series together or go for a walk if the weather is right. I’m a Starbucks type of a girl, so pup cups are always an option
“Rey was great to work with . She communicated well and was very thorough in taking care of my dog. She went over and beyond to make sure my pup was okay while I was out of town.”

About: My name is Christian! I am going to college for psychology and entrepreneurship! and working for my future whether it’s at restaurants or doing side hustles, I love to be productive and having something that’s pulls me out of bed in the mornings. In the military as well. I owned a pet when I was younger and always loved animals ever since. I enjoy meditation and living a stress free lifestyle. I know animals can pick up on people’s wneegy and are drawn to healthy auras. Any time I am with someone’s else pet or around any animal, I treat them as another person with compassion. I work a part time on weekends, and my weekdays are opened for caring for animals! Big time animal lover of all kinds.

About: I’m a pre‑vet student with two years of hands‑on experience working in dog kennels and boarding facilities. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medications, and pets who need special care. I also have experience with timid, reactive, or nervous animals and always move at their pace. Whether it’s a big dog who loves long walks or a small pup who needs gentle handling, I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust in every visit. This summer, I’ll be in classes from 10–5, but I’m fully available for morning and evening care. For pet‑sitting, I stop by in the morning for a shorter visit, then spend extended time with your pets after class for enrichment, walks, and companionship. For dog‑walking, I’m available after 5:30 PM and in the mornings between 7:30-9 AM. I’m comfortable supporting pets with special requirements, including training, potty training, and medications. I can crate at night if preferred or allow free‑roam based on your pet’s routine. If your dog isn’t comfortable on walks, I’m happy to provide yard play or indoor enrichment instead. During sits, I typically give at least one 30‑minute walk a day, often longer when appropriate. For cats, I offer enrichment tailored to their personality — playtime, affection, or quiet companionship if they prefer space. When owners are comfortable, I also enjoy taking dogs on hikes and using a secure harness buckle in the car. While I can’t guarantee a hike every stay, I always aim to include at least one long enrichment walk or adventure during my time with your pet.

Amazing and reliable! Maria is great and went above and beyond to ensure our babies were well taken care while we were out of town for an emergency. She responds quickly and communicated with us to keep us informed and updated on our pets care. She sent many pictures and notes about their care while we were gone which we were so grateful for. I would recommend her to anyone and would rebook without hesitation.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
