About: Aside from experience taking care of Cats, and Dogs, I also am experienced in Lizard Care, and I am willing to watch over exotic pets! I am relatively always free. I do plan to start college hopefully soon. However if something comes up, I am always very communitive with clients. I unfortunately do not have the space at my own house to board pets, however as someone staying overnight, or just popping in to take care of things, I am always respective of rules and boundaries. Tell me what I can or can't do, and I will follow that to a T. Pet wise, ill feed, water, and even clean up after them if any accidents occur. and I will ensure to give them lots of love and care as if they were my own. My services also extend to exotic pets. I am more experienced in care of reptiles, specifically lizards, (I am a very avid reptile lover), however if I have any questions I am able to communicate and look to my employer for answers and instruction. Pricing for exotic pets will follow the same listing for dogs!

“We so appreciate how Chloe has taken care of our fur babies. We can tell when we come home that they have been loved in our absence and that means everything to us. She also verbally updates us and sends pictures after every visit so we are always aware of their health. I highly recommend Chloe as a loving caregiver!”

“Kimberly was great!! Willow absolutely loved her. She communicated so well and took the absolute best care of Willow while checking in on her. I appreciate her flexibility. I was in a pinch and she really came through for us! Thank you soo much Kimberly.”

About: I've spent the majority of my life tending to various different pets (dogs, cats, & smaller breeds such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and birds). I have great compassion for animals and strive to facilitate a sense of comfort, fun, and care for them. I'm currently abundantly available Sundays through Fridays, not on Saturdays as I work my other job. I understand caring for pets is a constant commitment. I am comfortable integrating calmly into your home space, patiently tending to animals that may require a little extra care, and giving plenty of head pats/belly rubs/cuddles/treats (if they're allowed).

“Khalil did an outstanding job of taking care of my dog keeping me informed of everything that was going on and he was always prompt and on time. He also provided pictures and videos and ensure that my house was locked up and secured when he left. I would recommend him to anyone outstanding job.”

“Cecilia is awesome! She took such great care of my bunny. She made sure Nipsy was taken care of & it was in the middle of a snow storm so driving was difficult. I highly recommend her!!”

About: Hello! I have over 10 years of experience in ER Veterinary Medicine and studied Animal Science and Biology in college. I have always lived in a home with pets; from cats, dogs, birds and a hamster named Victor Newman. I currently live in a home with 3 dogs and a fiesty cat. My dog, Dez, is a senior pup with special needs. He has had IVDD for the last 6 years and requires specialized care. With that, I am versed in care for pets with special needs and medication administration. During the summer months, I have more availability throughout the day to care for our furry loved ones. Beginning mid August, my availability may be limited to just the weekends. I have a fenced in backyard for dogs with plenty of room for the zoomies. Proper leash/harness/collar attire will be applied to your dog if your home is not fenced in or there is a possibility for escape. I do not use retractable leashes due to the likelihood that they break or fail. If necessary, I may require a non retractable leash for any future bookings with me. Cats are not allowed outside at my residence under any circumstances.
“Vanessa was amazing and took great care of my fur baby!! She dropped in for a meet and greet, I was able to tell my dog was instantly comfortable with her. She was very communicative and prompt with her responses. I was always very skeptical about using pet-sitting services, but she made me feel very comfortable with it by providing great care for my fur baby. I could tell that my fur baby still felt loved even while I was gone and that was what was most important to me, Vanessa ensured of that! I will be using her for any future pet-sitting needs!!”

“Crystal came in to save the day by accommodating a quick drop in for our two dogs, Odin and Lucy, last minute. It was a relief for us to know our dogs would be let out while we were gone for a short day trip. She went above and beyond by not only letting our pups out but also bringing in two of our packages that were delivered to our door. We would highly recommend her!”

“Ruby Bella and Flee said thank you Sarah for taking such great care of them. I really appreciate the care she gave our babies. Very punctual and nice. Highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Moving forward we will only book her to watch out brats... Thank you again hope you have a wonderful holidays”

“Colleen did such a great job with our pets! Not only was she consistent and reliable, but she went above and beyond to make sure all our animals had great care while we were on vacation. I will definitely hire her again!”

“We recently booked BriAna and Tyler for our first time vacationing as a family and leaving our 3 indoor/outdoor cats home alone..and we were so nervous about it at first. We were out of the country for 6 days and 5 nights, and although we initially considered boarding at one of the local pet resorts, we’re SO happy we decided to use Rover and so thankful we selected this awesome couple for our sitting needs. Our cats are very shy with outsiders and these two were patient, considerate, and gentle with our people-fearing fur babies. They kept us informed with each visit, managed to get the cats comfortable enough to show their faces on a few of their visits, and followed our instructions and requests completely. Knowing our babies were in the good hands of these two made fully enjoying our time away easy. We’ll definitely use them again and recommend you do too without hesitation!”

“Bernice is super sweet and wonderful with my puppy Tucker. She is great with new ideas to help direct negative behaviors and reinforcing the positive! Tucker always looks forward to her visits.”

“Fantastic, was great with our pups. Came for a prior meet and greet and they both loved her. Sent pictures for each visit with detailed updates. Will reach out again for future puppy sitting needs!”

“All 3 of my dogs enjoyed spending time with Ms. Tyreika during the day to get a potty break and some enrichment/snuggle time. She sent me photos each day and gave me peace of mind that my dogs were well taken care of while I was away.”

“Raychel has been a godsend to our family. Our pups love her and she is very patient and loving towards them. Raychel has been very accommodating and punctual to provide the break my pups need during the day. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their animals.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
