“Julia was fantastic! She dropped in our little dude (cat) while we were out of town, and we looked for ard to each update and the pictures. She took time to play, and sent details of her visit. Definitely will be using her again!”

“My cat is picky about people, but she loves Jasmine. Very reliable. Always provides great photos of your pet. And brings in packages if things arrive! I strongly recommend her.”

“We are SO thankful to have found Caitlyn. She was amazing with our Australian Shepherd who is very timid and needs time to warm up. She is reliable and trustworthy and I loved all the updates and photos of our pup. We were away for 9 days and never had to worry about our dog being in good hands. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Megan was so reliable she showed up within minutes of notice and took care of our little guy with the upmost care! We will definitely be calling her anytime were out of time!”

“Thank you, Sierra so much for taking care of our puppers!!! It makes it so much easier on us to be gone most of the day with errands or dates and know that the boys are in good hands and have a great sitter for them. We will definitely reach back out the next time we need a sitter!!!”

“Meghan and Chad are the BEST!! They made me feel so at ease knowing that my Maggie was being cared for by such responsible & loving dog people. I appreciated the pics and their thoughtful comments for each visit!!”

“So grateful to have found Kristin! She was so wonderful with Jamo and Fiona. Sent me pictures and updates at every drop in the past 5 days. She went above and beyond of what I asked. 10/10 and will definitely be booking her again!! Thank you so much for everything you did!”

“As always, Anastasia is the best! Of course everything goes wrong when you decide to take a vacation. Our power went out and our kitty had an eye problem. Anastasia without even a second thought went out of her way to take care of our kitty and took him to the vet. She went above and beyond to make sure our kitty was taken care of. I’m so sad we’re moving next year, Grayson is going to miss you! ♥️”

“Danielle helped me out tremendously in such a short notice. She came over for two days to bring my babies out & made sure they had water & food. One of my dog left a huge mess, pillow torn up, she kindly let me know and cleaned it up. Pictures were sent which was reassuring they were getting cared for. I would definitely reach back out to Danielle in the future. & again I can’t appreciate your time!!(:”

“Elise did a great job. One of my dogs is very anxious around new people, she took time to pair with her and the pictures she sent showed happy smiles from my baby. I felt very comfortable with Elise and I think my dogs had a great time during her visit. Thank you Elise.”

About: Hi! My name is Fernanda, and I provide drop-in visits and dog walking in the Lillington area. I've always had a deep love for animals — I'm a dog mom to three myself: Cobain, Moonie, and Jalapeno, a senior dog who showed up at our house last year and never left. Caring for three dogs with very different ages and personalities has taught me to read each dog individually rather than treat care as one-size-fits-all. I understand your pets are members of your family, and my goal is to give them that same love, attention, and safety while you're away. I'm home most of the day, so a visit from me isn't rushed or squeezed in — your dog gets real attention, not just a quick in-and-out. As a dedicated pet parent to my own three dogs, my daily life is entirely built around a structured animal care routine. Because of this, my schedule is highly predictable and reliable. I manage my time carefully to ensure that your pets receive punctual feeding, on-time medication, and consistent potty breaks without disruption. Whether you need early morning check-ins or late evening drop-ins, I am organized, timely, and fully committed to keeping your pet’s normal routine exactly on track. Safety is my absolute highest priority. Managing a diverse three-dog pack with completely different sizes, breeds, and personalities—including a delicate senior dog—means I am hyper-aware of animal body language, stress triggers, and environmental safety. I strictly follow all entry/exit protocols to prevent escape artists from slipping out the door. I am patient, gentle, and highly experienced in tracking slow movements, administering oral medications, and recognizing when a pet needs quiet rest.
“Emily was great with our two dogs over the weekend! Communication was solid throughout, and it was clear our dogs really liked her. We felt totally at ease knowing they were in good hands. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Our pups love Megan! They thoroughly enjoyed their stay (we could tell because of the photos she sent on a regular basis). When they returned home they were well behaved, relaxed, happy and healthy! Who could ask for more? We just LOVE the service Megan provides. We will definitely use her services in the future!”

“Kailey wqs amazing for a last minute booked check in. She provided excellent care to my kitten Jasper. She provided updates and photos. I would absolutely use her again for her services. She was extremely polite and really helped when I was in a bind.”

About: I’m a very reliable person and work from home so I’m able to adjust my schedule as needed to help take care of your pet! I’ve been taking care of family pets (cats and dogs) for years and grew up with both. I currently work from home and am able to adjust my schedule to fit in pet care as needed. I work Monday - Friday so my weekends are open if you need specific times. I won’t be hosting other pets in my own home but I am willing to follow any rules you have for your pet whether that’s in your own home, yard, or out on a walk. Your pet will always be on a leash when outside if not in a fenced yard.
“Celina took such great care of our boy Beans! She even went as far to clean up one of his accidents and keep us updated. We greatly appreciate your time and for taking great care of our fur baby!”

About: I've had pets my whole life with the majority of them being rescues. I currently have three huskies and a doberman, as well as a leopard gecko. I have also in the past had chickens and fish that I greatly miss caring for. So whether the house or the farm I'm ready for your babies! I'm currently focusing all of my time on pet sitting so I can care for your babies at any time and for however long I am needed. I am based out of Lillington and am able to travel to the surrounding areas where I can care for your pets in your home, whether that be giving medication, feeding, playing or continuing any training that you have started.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Anderson Creek
I recommend Celina for pet care. As an anxious cat mom who hates to leave her fur babies, I find myself relaxed when she’s checking on them. This past trip, I realized I forgot to fill the litter box to the right level about an hour into our drive. She added a message that she noticed and took care of it without me having to ask. :)

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Anderson Creek. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
