About: When I was 3 we had cats in the house and a dog. As I got older we had more cats and dogs. I have always been around them. I currently have 2 labs & a beagle. I have experience with elderly dog care, puppy, administering medication & monitoring input and output. I do know how to clip dog nails & clean their ears as well as bathe them. I am a full time mom and I stay home with our 3 children. My children love to be outside so we spend a lot of time outside playing with our dogs. We have a fenced backyard - about .4 acres fenced in. We live in a development and go on walks with our dogs. We have built in dog crates in our entertainment center where dogs could sleep if needed. We also have a dog fence we could make a play area for.
“Zoey went above and beyond for my fur babies! My Great Dane was especially anxious while we were gone, and Zoey took extra time and patience with her to help soothe her anxiety ❤️. We feel so lucky to have found someone we can truly rely on for our travels, we were able to enjoy ourselves so much more knowing she was with them.”

“This was our first time using Brooke a she will be our #1 choice for future petsitting needs. She was an exceptional cat and dog sitter! Brooke was attentive, a great communicator (sending pictures and updates daily), and made sure everything went smoothly. We felt at ease knowing our fur babies were in such good hands while we were gone. She went above and beyond, and it truly showed. I would highly recommend Brooke to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. Thank you!!”

“We’ve used Kayla and John multiple times and are always glad for it. Love the pictures they send. They do a wonderful job and it’s obvious they care. Thanks, and look forward to using y’all again”
“Miriam was an attentive overnight sitter for my two senior pups. Provided lots of pictures and videos and kept me up to date on their meals! Will book her again next out of town trip!”

“Whitney took amazing care of our two dogs while we were out of town! She treated them like they were her own and gave us so much peace of mind, especially with leaving our puppy for the first time! Will absolutely be rebooking Whitney for future stays!”

“I take care of my baby very well, more than I expected, I trusted her from day 1 and she will continue to be the one who will take care of her with her eyes closed!!! Excellent work I will leave 5 stars for it!”

“Faith is absolutely amazing! She took wonderful care of my girl and was constantly sending updates while I was gone. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a friend for their animal!”

But I can work around that to help you with your animals How I care for my cat beachy is I feed him in the morning before school and when I get home I play with him and gets his energy out. Then after awhile I will get my bearded dragon out and let him explore I also clean his cage and feed him. About: My parents realized I needed a dog in my life when I was child because I would try to pet my fish... ;) As a family we've had dogs since I was around 6 years old. I began dog-sitting for a neighbor when I was in middle school and that included helping care for two puppies when I was a bit older. Over the last few years my petsitting/housesitting relationships have steadily increased. I've helped friends by caring for their puppies, dogs, senior dogs, kittens, cats, and even a bird! Before I moved to NC I had keys for about 5 friends' homes since I am on standby for pet-sitting duties when they go out of town. My boyfriend and I are the proud parents of 1 dog, 2 cats, and 21 quail chicks! I am currently working 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday in Holly Springs but hope my schedule works to care for your fur babies! I am typically very flexible during weekends. As someone who had an escape artist dog growing up I know the importance of safety, including keeping doors closed. I'm familiar with many different types of leashes, halters, Gentle Leader, even muzzles and am confident in using any your dog may utilize. I am also happy to crate your puppy/dog if needed.

“Jessalyn was a big help in watching my pats last minute. She was professional and attentive. All of my pets loved her and cuddled up to her like they’ve known her for years! I would recommend booking her if you’re looking for somebody you can trust!”

“Excellent! Would highly recommend! Takes great care of our house and our pets. Great communication the entire stay. Did many extras I didn't ask for - like bringing in the mail, and sweeping/mopping the floors before she left. Dogs are happy to see her, and we know our house and pets are in good hands!”

About: I started dog and cat sitting when I was 16 as a side hustle while I was in school, and it quickly became something I genuinely love. I grew up in a house full of animals — dogs, cats, chickens, bunnies, even hermit crabs — so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. I’m comfortable with high-energy pups, shy kitties, and multi-pet households. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your babies, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. As a stay at home wife, I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day for walks and drop-ins. Early mornings, midday check-ins, or late evenings are no problem. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine! I love keeping my own pets on a consistent schedule, and I can definitely be a little picky about how things are done — so I completely understand wanting things done a certain way. I’ll follow your instructions exactly as written, stick to your pet’s normal routine, and respect your home like it’s my own. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pets.
“Alivia was great with our two dogs and cat. Our cat became sick during the time Alivia was here and she acted quickly to help her get to feeling better. Alivia would send frequent updates as well and is a very good communicator. I could not have asked for anyone better!”

About: I have a background in the medical and paralegal field . We can accommodate any pup , any situation! I have had my own dog kennel for years . I’m very energetic & love animals & so does my son & family members who do this with me . I take them on walks and keep them entertained . Since i have experience whelping and with mommy dogs , i can take on any challenge . I can administer medication responsibly. Not all dogs get along with other dogs , i understand that . I have a nice insulated building with heat and ac for the dogs who really prefer their own space . It’s very nice & comfortable in there. But i do offer space in my home as well for free roam - lots of land && a great area . Plus a 6 ft tall fence. They gets lots of play time since I’m generally home. I Keep toys and supplies & cute fenced in areas for smaller pups as well to separate from big pups . Doggies are spoiled here, every pup gets one on one time . Plenty of space to run && play outside & in the very spacious open floor home . From big to little , they are welcome here . Experience with high anxiety pets and older dogs. Conditioned “puppy cave” in home as well for pups who like their own space but don’t want to be in the building . Prices can be discussed for multiples & long stays or in general if it is an emergency & unexpected , I’ll work with you . We put our time & care & money into what we do . This is not the only place that i promote my pet sitting business, but Rover is awesome ! Lots of experience & many references for months/weeks long stays . Can also offer grooming (mobile groomer who helps me out ) & training when needed . Our days are literally centered around the puppies we keep . They are our top priority- you will love the updates . I have my own animals that i have to take out and keep entertained myself . So taking care of dogs is part of my daily routine. Plus I’m home most the time so the dogs are a main focus. Gives me a lot of bonding time with my son as well . Perfect yard . Can free roam with supervision on the acres or play in the 6ft tall fence. Nice dog building with great heating And air . But can also have them In the house . Welcome to check both spaces out . They will be let out often. And can keep dogs separated when they do not get along with other animals- i do not believe in putting 5-6 plus dogs in a playroom loose not knowing their personalities well yet - very small groups with regulars is completely ok but most pups need proper introductions before throwing them in a space with other unknown pets & an unknown new human watching- it can be very unpredictable even if your pup is super social . I keep supplies such as dog shampoo , dog treats, toys and other things that may be needed. They get lots of love and cuddles here. 6ft tall fence for the big babies . Space to run inside the home if weather is ugly.
“Chelsea was wonderful! She was so communicative and sent lots of photos. Gus was clearly well taken care of. Chelsea was able to be there most of the day, which was wonderful, and she was great at communicating with the sitter we had before her to work out the details. I highly recommend her!!!”

“Courtney was phenomenal! She took care of my dogs just like I would. She sent daily updates with pics and videos! I appreciate how kind she was to my sassy old dogs. lol”

“Daniel did a great job with our two boys. We have one who requires a lot of work because he is anxious, and the worst he did was eat a couple of paper napkins, which is a minor miracle. We really appreciated Daniel's dedication to them, and we would definitely hire him again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Anderson Creek
Jessalyn took amazing care of my handsome boy, Creed, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She gave him plenty of walks, playtime, and snuggles, and it was clear he felt completely comfortable with her. She was also a great communicator throughout, sending regular updates and lots of pictures, which made it so much easier to relax knowing Creed was in good hands. When I got back, Creed was happy, well cared for, and clearly had a great time. I’d absolutely recommend Jessalyn to anyone looking for someone reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring with their pets.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Anderson Creek walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Anderson Creek maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Anderson Creek choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
