About: I've had pets my whole life with the majority of them being rescues. I currently have three huskies and a doberman, as well as a leopard gecko. I have also in the past had chickens and fish that I greatly miss caring for. So whether the house or the farm I'm ready for your babies! I'm currently focusing all of my time on pet sitting so I can care for your babies at any time and for however long I am needed. I am based out of Lillington and am able to travel to the surrounding areas where I can care for your pets in your home, whether that be giving medication, feeding, playing or continuing any training that you have started.
“Megan is wonderful! Takes my dog Hera for long walks every time and spends time with her. Megan also takes pictures of my sweet girl and send them to me every time she walks her! Will definitely continue to book with her!!”

“So glad that we found someone we could trust to take care of our dog. She is an excellent communicator and has a great understanding of animals. No concerns leaving my special-needs dog in her care. I highly recommend Julia!”

“Annmarie is wonderful with our pup! She is just shy of a year old and is hesitant when meeting others on walks and Annmarie is great at putting her at ease. Annmarie is prompt and professional- providing great notes and pics of her time with our pup!!”

About: Hi! My name is Fernanda, and I provide drop-in visits and dog walking in the Lillington area. I've always had a deep love for animals — I'm a dog mom to three myself: Cobain, Moonie, and Jalapeno, a senior dog who showed up at our house last year and never left. Caring for three dogs with very different ages and personalities has taught me to read each dog individually rather than treat care as one-size-fits-all. I understand your pets are members of your family, and my goal is to give them that same love, attention, and safety while you're away. I'm home most of the day, so a visit from me isn't rushed or squeezed in — your dog gets real attention, not just a quick in-and-out. As a dedicated pet parent to my own three dogs, my daily life is entirely built around a structured animal care routine. Because of this, my schedule is highly predictable and reliable. I manage my time carefully to ensure that your pets receive punctual feeding, on-time medication, and consistent potty breaks without disruption. Whether you need early morning check-ins or late evening drop-ins, I am organized, timely, and fully committed to keeping your pet’s normal routine exactly on track. Safety is my absolute highest priority. Managing a diverse three-dog pack with completely different sizes, breeds, and personalities—including a delicate senior dog—means I am hyper-aware of animal body language, stress triggers, and environmental safety. I strictly follow all entry/exit protocols to prevent escape artists from slipping out the door. I am patient, gentle, and highly experienced in tracking slow movements, administering oral medications, and recognizing when a pet needs quiet rest.

About: Welcome to our page! At the core of our lives, Chris and I share a profound love for animals. With Chris's rural upbringing and my experience as a Beagle breeder after serving in the Marine Corps, animals have always held a special place in our hearts. We've had the privilege of caring for various furry friends, including rats, a bunny, and Guinea pigs. Over the more recent years, we've bid farewell to our beloved German Shepherds, who were with us for most, if not all, of their lives: our 11yr old Neko and 12yr old Kaj. Currently, we have 2 adorable Golden Retrievers, Clover and Cider. Our passion for animals extends to all kinds, and we wholeheartedly welcome your pets as part of our family during their stay. Your cherished companions will receive love, comfort, and professional care in our home. Our home is professionally cleaned every other week, we flea/mosquito/tick & disinfectant spray our yard monthly. We also wash toys & bedding between pet's stays. Thank you for considering us as your pet sitters. We can't wait to shower your pets with love and attention! 🐾 Drop off/pick up times between 8am - 8pm unless otherwised discussed with us. Thank you for your understanding! If you have any questions at all, reach out and ask. Be sure to check out our Instagram and TikTok page Instagram: evergreen.ridge.petsitting TikTok: evergreenridgepetsitting Rest assured, I'll be the primary pet snuggler while you're away! I have camera's set up inside in the occasions that I do need to leave, so that I can monitor the partying that may take place between the furbabies while I am out.

“Keyanna has helped me with my fur baby during a time when I really needed the help. She has given me such piece of mind knowing that Oakley will be well taken care of. She is so friendly and kind and is a complete joy to be around. Thank you, Keyanna!”

“Meghan was an outstanding dog walker. She played with Steven my German shepherd and sometimes hung out even longer than she was required to. She even cleaned his ears and put medication in them for me because poor Steven suffers from frequent ear infections. Which I am certain wasn’t easy to do , Steven hates it when you touch his ears. She left detailed notes and you could tell genuinely cared for Steven. Highly recommend”

About: Hi, I’m Alyssa Reynolds! I have been dog sitting with my mother and father for years! I am well experienced and have had many clients! We love animals in our family and have many of our own! We have been on Rover for a while and I’m taking over the account to provide services in my college town! I will treat your pet as a member of our family! You won’t need to worry while you’re away. Your pet will be in the best hands with me! I want to provide the best and most comfortable experience for your pet, because I know how stressful it is to be away from family! Because of our work schedules and school schedules it’s better if the pups can hold it for 7 hours. We are home all weekend. During the summer months my daughter is home all day and able to care for dogs needing more frequent potty breaks. We have a large backyard with a pet friendly pool. There is plenty of room to run around. Dogs are not left outside when we are not home. We do have other animals in the house, so boarded dogs need to be ok with cats and dogs. We do request if animals have separation anxiety or tend to chew when left unattended a crate is left with them while being boarded.
About: Hi there! My name is Katie and I am so happy you are considering me to care for your animals. Pet sitting is my full time commitment, and I am accepting new and returning clients with open arms. I am available and eager to offer drop in visits and dog walking 7 days a week. I also offer doggy daycare and boarding to one family at a time in order to give your animals one on one attention and the best care possible. I do prefer to sit your animals at least once before booking for boarding to allow your dog to get comfortable with me and my home before taking them for multiple days with no soft introduction. I accept same day bookings if I have availability for walking and drop in visits, as I am very understanding that life is unpredictable and sometimes things happen outside of our control. I also offer same day meet and greets if a request is made before 5pm. I do have experience with elderly animals, and animals with underlying health conditions. I have a 4 year old husky who has epilepsy, and I have been trained by my dogs vet on how to properly care for an animal during a medical emergency. I am comfortable administering medication and I will ensure your animal stays on their routine for their medicine, as I know personally how important it is to do so. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions! I always have my phone close by and commit to answering pet parents in a timely manner. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!
About: Since I was a child I've taken care of dogs, my whole family loves animals and know how to treat dogs and how they behave. I'm currently working part time, and usually get off work at 2pm, after that I'm free. I do have a social life and occasionally will be out and about but I can always make time for your dogs! I have a 3 acre fenced yard, cages for my dogs, leashes, harnesses, and medicine.I NEVER hit animals and always treat them with the respect they deserve.
About: I’ve been reliably taking care of friends’ and family’s dogs since coming back to Ft Bragg area 4 years ago and have been doing it just for the fun of having a furry one to be entertained with. I’m currently working part time, just enough to keep me busy and not bored out of my mind. Usually can check on dogs whenever through out the day unless I’m out of town or working. I just treat them how I’d want to be cared for if I needed a sitter. Probably a Cliche’d saying but it’s a fact that needs to be said. These dogs give some much love to us as a society that’s unmeasurable, even if it’s just 1% of their love, it’s the least we can do.
“Samantha has been such a welcome addition to my puppies life. I work long hours and my boyfriend goes out of town frequently so find a flexible and kind dog walker was important to us. Samantha has been so great, she is very flexible and is dedicated to treating our dog well. She also gives a lot of great puppy advice and has been a huge help on getting our puppy to walk better.”

About: I’ve been a foster, and a permanent dog mom to every size and breed of dog you could imagine! I currently have a Labrador retriever but have experience with all ages of dogs, and all sizes from a chihuahua to mastiffs! I am a stay-at-home mom so this is a nice side hustle with something I love which is taking care of dogs and also having something extra to do with my kid! I have a large fenced-in yard with a Labrador retriever who’d love to keep your dogs company! We’re also in a very dog friendly community so walks are a possibility if wanted!
About: I’ve had dozens of different animals since I was young. Ranging from farm animals, domestic animals, parrots and reptiles. Medication administration experience and bottle feeding as well. No care details are too extra or complicated. I am open to sitting any type of animal! I am home full time aside from errands with my little ones. I have a mini farm as I call it. Dogs, chickens, cats, ducks and more. I am outside majority of the day. We do love going to the park where my bulldog enjoys the dog area as well, so if you’re ok with it, trips to the park may be part of your pets stay! My farm is not completely fenced in, but I do have a fenced in area attached to the front of the house for the animals with plenty of space! I have a very long gravel driveway away from the main road. I have leads, collars, harnesses and cages if needed. I have baby gates in home if needed as well. My two dogs love everyone, they can just be overly friendly! Our oldest cat’s go outside a lot, so they are usually busy all day. Our youngest cat loves to play with everyone including dogs, but likes to stay inside. My female dog is not spayed, un neutered males will either be supervised or separated at night time.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
