About: Hi! I’m Gabriel, a veteran, teacher, and lifelong animal lover with plenty of experience caring for dogs. I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I live in an apartment but only board one dog at a time, so your pet gets plenty of individual attention. I’m very active and enjoy long walks, and there’s a dog park nearby where I can take your dog to run and play. As a teacher in a year-round district, I also have extended breaks when I’m available for full-time pet care, which works well for longer trips or vacations. I look forward to giving your pet great care and giving you peace of mind. I’m available to board most weekends and especially during my school breaks since I work on a year-round schedule. On workdays I’m off by 3:00 PM, which allows me to stop by homes in the afternoon and evening to care for pets. My Home: I have one dog named Libby who can keep your pup company. I only take one additional dog at a time, so your pet will receive plenty of individual attention. I also live near the Cape Fear River Trail and walk it regularly, so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time and exercise. Client’s Home: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful, attentive, and professional. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to make sure your pet stays comfortable and in their normal routine.

I've always had a deep love for animals — I'm a dog mom to three myself: Cobain, Moonie, and Jalapeno, a senior dog who showed up at our house last year and never left. Managing a diverse three-dog pack with completely different sizes, breeds, and personalities—including a delicate senior dog—means I am hyper-aware of animal body language, stress triggers, and environmental safety. I strictly follow all entry/exit protocols to prevent escape artists from slipping out the door. I am patient, gentle, and highly experienced in tracking slow movements, administering oral medications, and recognizing when a pet needs quiet rest.

About: I’m an experienced petsitter who has been doing this since I was 14. But I began taking the job seriously 4 years ago. I have experience with senior and special needs pets. I’ve also administered medication to cats, dogs, and fish. I have experience working in a veterinary hospital so you can trust that I’ll always treat your pet the same way I would at work! With the upmost care and kindness. I’m currently working part-time, so I have very flexible availability to care for your furry family members! If you need extended care please let me know in advance. :) I provide drop in services and house-sitting services too! I have one meet&greet before the first official day of service and will send pictures at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But I don’t mind sending more if that makes you more comfortable!

All three are medium sized, dog and cat friendly, and well socialized. 🐱 Resident Cats: • Zuko is our playful kitten who acts more like a dog. • Calypso prefers her independence and lounges in her cat tree, but she’s dog aware and unbothered. She even cleaned his ears and put medication in them for me because poor Steven suffers from frequent ear infections. Which I am certain wasn’t easy to do , Steven hates it when you touch his ears. About: I had a high-energy pointer/setter mix growing up and have always defaulted to caring for dogs as I did Jazzie--getting their energy out but knowing when they're tuckered. I commonly pet sit for my cousin and coworkers in Alaska where leashes were important to protect against wild animal encounters, so I can assure you I will be careful to get your pet home safe and happy! I currently work a mix of seasonal and rotational geology jobs in remote Alaska. My husband and I just moved here, so I'm finding a meaningful way to spend free time while staying active whenever I can! Happy to get out of the house when pets need! I am happy to follow detailed instructions on how you like your pet cared for including double checking all locks, gates, and fences. I will make sure they are properly leashed and a safe distance from others we meet on walks as well as providing as much or as little petting as they wish. About: Puppies need time, patience, and most of all fun! Most of the time, puppies are stripped away from their families and are just looking for their pack. It is very important to create a safe environment and show love towards dogs. They are our protectors, and we are their caregivers I am retired. Although my husband is in the military, I do have free time most of the week. I am more than willing to be flexible and to also be a routine caregiver. For both dogs and cats, I do have two cats and one dog. I understand that while my pets are family, they are all individuals. I will take the time to learn each pet as an individual and not generalize their species.

About: I’ve had dozens of different animals since I was young. Ranging from farm animals, domestic animals, parrots and reptiles. Medication administration experience and bottle feeding as well. No care details are too extra or complicated. I am open to sitting any type of animal! I am home full time aside from errands with my little ones. I have a mini farm as I call it. Dogs, chickens, cats, ducks and more. I am outside majority of the day. We do love going to the park where my bulldog enjoys the dog area as well, so if you’re ok with it, trips to the park may be part of your pets stay! My farm is not completely fenced in, but I do have a fenced in area attached to the front of the house for the animals with plenty of space! I have a very long gravel driveway away from the main road. I have leads, collars, harnesses and cages if needed. I have baby gates in home if needed as well. My two dogs love everyone, they can just be overly friendly! Our oldest cat’s go outside a lot, so they are usually busy all day. Our youngest cat loves to play with everyone including dogs, but likes to stay inside. My female dog is not spayed, un neutered males will either be supervised or separated at night time.
