I previously worked at a dog boarding facility, where I cared for pets with a wide range of needs, including administering medications, caring for senior pets, handling anxious and reactive animals, and following individualized care routines. I currently work as a kennel technician at a veterinary hospital, where I am learning more about animal health and daily medical care. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, giving insulin injections, and safely giving pills to pets that are hesitant to take them with food. I’m happy to administer medications as directed, follow special feeding instructions, and accommodate senior pets or those with medical needs. I always pay close attention to a pet’s behavior and well-being and will let you know immediately if I notice anything concerning. I am totally okay with sending photo and video updates so you can see how your pet is doing. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, go for walks, or simply have someone sit quietly with them, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for until you return. :)) At this time, I primarily provide care in my clients’ homes to help pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment.
