“Alivia is AWESOME!! Her calm, knowledgeable & friendly demeanor told me right away that she is someone I can trust with my cat, Matilda. She did a fantastic job and provided me with daily updates. I'll definitely reach out to Alivia the next time I leave town.”

“Skylar was wonderful taking care of our dogs. She responded quickly to messages, sent pictures, and made sure to let us know our dogs were doing great while we were gone. We will be using her again!”

About: I've grown up with dogs all my life. My dog is now a senior but we adopted her as a puppy. Due to my dogs age and health complications that come with it, I've gained experience with senior care. This includes light stretches, red light therapy, medication, etc. Watching her grow up gave me the incentive to support other pet parents by making sure their pets are taken care of while they're away. I've watched a family friend's 4 cats for the past 4 years, as well as 2 others. I enjoy what I do, and I'd love to extend my services to you! I'm currently working part-time, so outside of work, your pet will be my number one priority! I can stop by in the morning and afternoon for at least 1 hour each, spend quality time with them, clean up if necessary, and make sure they're comfortable for the evening before heading out. When I arrive, I'll greet your pet at the door or, if applicable, at their kennel. I'll look around and do any easy clean up, let them outside to potty or clean up litter boxes, make sure food and water are good, and then spend some quality time with your baby. I like to be active, so I'll take him/her on walks, play in the yard, or just chill about if they aren't keen on the sweat. Either way, I'll engage and make sure they're ok!
About: I have grown up with all different kinds of pets. Along with watching friends pets, I have worked for companies such as United Paws and Wag. I can do early mornings and evenings, I am in the military so that takes up my time from 9-1700. I do have Saturdays and Sundays off. I will care for the pets as if they are my own. Lots of love and playing and treats if permitted. Pet deserve full attention and that is what they will get.
“Thank you, Sierra so much for taking care of our puppers!!! It makes it so much easier on us to be gone most of the day with errands or dates and know that the boys are in good hands and have a great sitter for them. We will definitely reach back out the next time we need a sitter!!!”

“Margaret did a wonderful job dropping in on our cat while we were out of town. She was awesome at communicating and keeping us informed of what was going on and sent very cute pictures of him while we were away.”

“Emily was great with our two dogs over the weekend! Communication was solid throughout, and it was clear our dogs really liked her. We felt totally at ease knowing they were in good hands. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Rey was great to work with . She communicated well and was very thorough in taking care of my dog. She went over and beyond to make sure my pup was okay while I was out of town.”

About: Hello! I have worked with animals since I was 17. I cared for animals at the animal shelter before I went to school in Florida to become a zookeeper. From there I worked as a zookeeper/animal care manager for 11years. I worked mostly with big cats(tigers, lions, etc) and primates. After moving I then proceeded to work at another animal shelter, as an animal services officer. I now am focusing on raising my family, but miss meeting new animal faces! I am a stay at home mom(kids will never come along though.) Thursday evening through Monday morning is my most flexible time to watch your pets! Though I feel most animals are more comfortable and less stressed in their own home I understand that’s not always an option. I have a large fences in yard with lots of room to explore!

About: I grew up with several family pets cats and dogs and am very familiar with attentive care. I have a dog of my own that I pee pad trained I am a full time nanny working from 12-7 Monday-Friday. I am available in the mornings and on certain weekends when I am not watching my brother run track! I prefer to only care for pets in the clients home as that is where your pet will feel most comfortable and safe especially with a stranger around!

I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they’re in my home or their own. About: 🐾 Hello there, fellow pet lovers! My name is Clayton, and I’m here to give you peace of mind when it comes to caring for your furry family members. 🐶 I recently moved to Fayetteville, NC to begin my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Methodist University, but I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years — ever since I was 14! My mom used to drive me to my first clients before I even had my license, and I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities ever since. I have a toy Pomeranian named Dakota, so I know firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust to look after your pets like their own. Whether your pup loves long walks, belly rubs, or just relaxing company, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. ⸻ 🕓 My Schedule As a DPT student, I keep a structured but flexible schedule that allows me plenty of time to care for pets throughout the week: • Monday: Class from 8 AM–1 PM and 2–5:45 PM, but I always come home for lunch in between. • Tuesday: No classes — available all day for walks, drop-ins, or house sitting. • Wednesday: Class 8–11 AM & 2–6 PM, free midday. • Thursday: Class 8–11 AM & 12–2 PM, free afternoons. • Friday: Class 8–12 PM, free after lunch. • Weekends: Fully available! I live just 4 minutes from campus, which makes coming home during the day easy. I already go home daily to take Dakota out, so I’m used to keeping a consistent and reliable routine for pets. ⸻ ❤️ What You Can Expect 🌞 Regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention to keep tails wagging 🍽️ Feeding and medication schedules carefully followed 🐾 Updates, photos, and open communication so you’re always in the loop 🤗 Genuine love and affection for every animal in my care Every pet is unique, and I take time to learn what makes them happiest — whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or calm company. ⸻ If you’re looking for a trustworthy, experienced sitter who treats your pets like family, I’d love to help. Let’s set up a meet and greet so I can meet your furry friends! 🐕❤️ First time booking? Current Schedule with Midday Flexibility: I’m currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Methodist University, living just 4 minutes from campus, which makes it easy for me to come home during the day. My weekly class schedule is: • Monday: 8 AM–1 PM & 2–5:45 PM (home for lunch in between) • Tuesday: No classes — fully available all day • Wednesday: 8–11 AM & 2–6 PM (free midday) • Thursday: 8–11 AM & 12–2 PM (free afternoons) • Friday: 8–12 PM (free after lunch) Early-Morning Routine: I’m an early riser and wake up around 5 AM every weekday to work out before class. My dog usually sleeps in until I get back, shower, and put food in her bowl — but if your dog prefers an early start, I’m more than happy to accommodate! If they like to sleep in, that’s fine too — I can match their pace. Mornings, Afternoons & Weekends: I’m available most mornings before class, afternoons after class, and have full availability on Tuesdays and weekends for boarding, drop-ins, or longer stays. On weekends, I usually wake up a little later (6:30–7:30 AM), so the routine just shifts slightly later to match a more relaxed pace. I already go home daily to care for my own toy Pomeranian, so maintaining a reliable and consistent routine for pets is second nature to me. Even with a busy school schedule, I make the most of every moment spent with your pets—treating them like family every step of the way. Feel free to reach out, and we can chat about what works best for you and your furry companion! 🐾 🏡 Safety, Trust & Environment 🏡 I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. My home is calm, clean, and pet-friendly — a cozy space where animals can relax and feel right at home. I share my apartment with my 8-year-old Toy Pomeranian, Dakota, who’s friendly, gentle, and used to being around other dogs once acclimated (she’s usually a little afraid of other dogs but makes friends quickly in her own space). She enjoys daily walks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles, so visiting pets always have good company. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I bring that same level of attention and reliability. I make sure each pet feels secure, respected, and loved in their familiar environment — following your routines closely to keep things as stress-free and consistent as possible.
About: I have 12 years of experience sitting and walking dogs and puppies. I have 6 years of experience caring for senior pets. I am highly trusted and rated across multiple pet care sites. I have just made the return to Rover. I love to love animals and will give your fur baby the same that I give my own. I am a retired veteran and student. I primarily work from home when I am not travelling. I create my own schedule, so I am available whenever I am needed. I am currently utilizing TrustedHouseSitters as well. I treat a client's home better than my own. I know how important it is for an animal to feel safe and secure in their own environment which is why I opt for pet/plant/house sitting over boarding. I always ensure to be communicative with the host about the wellbeing of their fur baby. I understand it is hard to leave a part of the family with someone else. I know that there will be no worries leaving them in my care after we have met and properly gone over your instructions and preferences.

About: I’m a huge animal lover 🥰 and have about 14 years of experience caring for dogs. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, but mostly smaller breeds. I’ve been around dogs and helping take care of them since I was 11, and I enjoy giving the love, attention, and care they need. I also volunteered at an animals shelter for about 6 months, giving me the chance to work with dogs in need. We have about 4 dogs total in my family, so sometimes I will have 1, or 2, or none at home with me I am new to the city so as of right now, I am not employed. I have open availability to care for all of your pets needs. My weekly routine is pretty simple. I do computer work, play the game, call my family (literally almost every day) and work out from time to time. Animals tend to be pretty comfortable with me. I would love to hang out and spend some time with your pet, maybe watch a series together or go for a walk if the weather is right. I’m a Starbucks type of a girl, so pup cups are always an option

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 747 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Wade. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wade. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
