About: My wife and I have always through the years had some variety of dogs and cats, male and female. Small and not so small 😊At times even birds, rabbits and Guinea pigs. We have taken care of my our grand dogs and grand kitties. We have chosen not to have our own animals friends in this season of our life because of the freedom it gives us to visit our children , grandchildren and great grandchildren we have in different states now. But feel we would enjoy helping others with their friends in our retirement. Our yard has a white picket fence and is a decent size for someone to run around in, but it is not completely fenced in. We are retired. We do not have any daily obligations anywhere. We go to church and we visit our children out of state on some of the holidays. Of course we would keep a close eye on them and see that they have water and ther food and a place to rest and as many potty breaks as needed. Also feel like they should be able to get the exercise they need with fresh air outside. Between a porch and deck that they can enjoy with us. Walking with a lease around the yard and their lease attached to an outside chain for their individual walking/running 😊

I will never leave your pet outside alone. Either my husband or I will be with them the entire time. While inside the house, they will have full access to clean water, plenty of toys and soft dog beds, all in our very clean home. If I am dropping in on your pet in your home, you can rest assured that I will be on time for the visit, take them to potty, and give them plenty of love. I will be very respectful of your home and only go in the areas needed for me to do the visit. For safety reason, I will not be able to watch Pitt Bulls or pets that are aggressive in any way. About: We're conveniently located just off of hwy 401 and near I-95 and I-40. I've always had family pets since I was the age of 2. I've cared for all ages of dogs and cats. I've been a midwife to many previous cats, bottle fed, watched live births of pups, and administered oral medications. I am always available for play time and snuggle time. I currently work part-time and am only away for 6 hours during the day. During this time my husband or my teen are usually home for part of that time. It's perfect because our pets aren't left all alone for very long. I have 2 dogs, one is playful and one is very relaxed. They have been around other dogs a number of times and loves playing at the dog park. They are friendly. At night our dogs are able to go upstairs and sleep in our room. During your pups stay, they are welcome to sleep anywhere in the house. We have a spare room downstairs that I'm happy to stay in if they need that (my dogs take up our whole bed upstairs). If your pup is crate trained and prefers their crate, I suggest you bring it for their stay so they can feel more at home.

About: Puppies need time, patience, and most of all fun! Most of the time, puppies are stripped away from their families and are just looking for their pack. It is very important to create a safe environment and show love towards dogs. They are our protectors, and we are their caregivers I am retired. Although my husband is in the military, I do have free time most of the week. I am more than willing to be flexible and to also be a routine caregiver. For both dogs and cats, I do have two cats and one dog. I understand that while my pets are family, they are all individuals. I will take the time to learn each pet as an individual and not generalize their species.

About: I've been around dogs all my life. My grandparents were breeders for Scotties, Cocker Spaniels and Terriers. My personal pets have been Velvet a cooker spaniel, Tobby a shepherd/lab mix, Doobee a shepherd/collie mix and my current cohort is Harley a 50 lb mixed breed rescue from texas. I have completed over 18 months of weekly training with Harley culminating with AKC canine good citizen certificate. What i learned from that experience was the importance and significance of consistency. Additionally that I am trained to be as consistent as possible in providing the type of care that you prefer for your pet. I'm always worried about people watching our dogs as they can be a handful, but they seamlessly blended in to Lisa home and family like they'd always been there. The whole family are clearly very experienced with dogs as they taught our boys a few commands to make feedings, etc. easier and took everything else in stride. They have a nice big grassy back yard where the dogs could get play and get their energy out. I absolutely will not hesitate to reach out to Lisa again as I can't recommend her highly enough.”
