About: Hi! I’m Gabriel, a veteran, teacher, and lifelong animal lover with plenty of experience caring for dogs. I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I live in an apartment but only board one dog at a time, so your pet gets plenty of individual attention. I’m very active and enjoy long walks, and there’s a dog park nearby where I can take your dog to run and play. As a teacher in a year-round district, I also have extended breaks when I’m available for full-time pet care, which works well for longer trips or vacations. I look forward to giving your pet great care and giving you peace of mind. I’m available to board most weekends and especially during my school breaks since I work on a year-round schedule. On workdays I’m off by 3:00 PM, which allows me to stop by homes in the afternoon and evening to care for pets. My Home: I have one dog named Libby who can keep your pup company. I only take one additional dog at a time, so your pet will receive plenty of individual attention. I also live near the Cape Fear River Trail and walk it regularly, so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time and exercise. Client’s Home: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful, attentive, and professional. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to make sure your pet stays comfortable and in their normal routine.

About: I’ve worked professionally with animals for over a year and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and exotic pets of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I previously worked at a dog boarding facility, where I cared for pets with a wide range of needs, including administering medications, caring for senior pets, handling anxious and reactive animals, and following individualized care routines. I currently work as a kennel technician at a veterinary hospital, where I am learning more about animal health and daily medical care. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, giving insulin injections, and safely giving pills to pets that are hesitant to take them with food. On my days off, I have much greater flexibility and can accommodate multiple visits or longer stays. I am currently only accepting bookings no longer than 2 weeks. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll always communicate my availability clearly before booking and make sure your pet receives reliable, attentive care. If you have specific timing needs, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to discuss whether I can accommodate them! I believe the best care comes from keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. During each visit, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, potty breaks or litter box care, exercise, playtime, and plenty of love and attention based on their individual personality and needs. I’m happy to administer medications as directed, follow special feeding instructions, and accommodate senior pets or those with medical needs. I always pay close attention to a pet’s behavior and well-being and will let you know immediately if I notice anything concerning. I am totally okay with sending photo and video updates so you can see how your pet is doing. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, go for walks, or simply have someone sit quietly with them, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for until you return. :)) At this time, I primarily provide care in my clients’ homes to help pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I may also be able to care for small caged pets in my home on a case-by-case basis.

About: I've grown up with dogs all my life. My dog is now a senior but we adopted her as a puppy. Due to my dogs age and health complications that come with it, I've gained experience with senior care. This includes light stretches, red light therapy, medication, etc. Watching her grow up gave me the incentive to support other pet parents by making sure their pets are taken care of while they're away. I've watched a family friend's 4 cats for the past 4 years, as well as 2 others. I enjoy what I do, and I'd love to extend my services to you! I'm currently working part-time, so outside of work, your pet will be my number one priority! I can stop by in the morning and afternoon for at least 1 hour each, spend quality time with them, clean up if necessary, and make sure they're comfortable for the evening before heading out. When I arrive, I'll greet your pet at the door or, if applicable, at their kennel. I'll look around and do any easy clean up, let them outside to potty or clean up litter boxes, make sure food and water are good, and then spend some quality time with your baby. I like to be active, so I'll take him/her on walks, play in the yard, or just chill about if they aren't keen on the sweat. Either way, I'll engage and make sure they're ok!

About: I’ve had many animal “businesses” since I was little. A doggy care job is perfect for me! I have 3 dogs if my own, ranging from a chihuahua, to a Great Dane! About: I had a high-energy pointer/setter mix growing up and have always defaulted to caring for dogs as I did Jazzie--getting their energy out but knowing when they're tuckered. I commonly pet sit for my cousin and coworkers in Alaska where leashes were important to protect against wild animal encounters, so I can assure you I will be careful to get your pet home safe and happy! I currently work a mix of seasonal and rotational geology jobs in remote Alaska.
