About: I have loved animals all my life and have had pets in the home since I was born. I first started babysitting others pets while their owners were on Leave or TDY starting in the 3rd grade. I have a very large fenced in back yard with plenty of grass for your pet to run and play. While your pet is in my care, they will be given plenty of potty breaks, exercise and play time. I will send you pictures and brief updates throughout their stay to put your mind at ease. I have extensive experience dealing with senior pets who need medications and who need special care due to specific medical ailments. Your pet will always be treated as my family. They will get hugs and kisses, too! Please don't let my address in Wade deter you...I am only 8 miles from Ramsey Street!! For safety reasons, we cannot take care of Pitt Bulls or any pet that is aggressive. If it is the first time caring for your pet, I will ask to do a Meet and Greet so we can all meet one another to ensure our pets will all get along. I work remotely from home so your pet will rarely be left alone. I have two dogs of my own, so your pet will have plenty of company to play with. Since I do work from home, I am able to provide plenty of potty breaks and time to go outside in the yard to run and play. I have a very large fenced in yard that is all grass and very clean providing your pet plenty of room to run and play or just time to walk around the yard and explore. I will never leave your pet outside alone. Either my husband or I will be with them the entire time. While inside the house, they will have full access to clean water, plenty of toys and soft dog beds, all in our very clean home. If I am dropping in on your pet in your home, you can rest assured that I will be on time for the visit, take them to potty, and give them plenty of love. I will be very respectful of your home and only go in the areas needed for me to do the visit. For safety reason, I will not be able to watch Pitt Bulls or pets that are aggressive in any way. Please let me know if your dog can jump or climb fences, or is an escape artist.

About: My wife and I have always through the years had some variety of dogs and cats, male and female. Small and not so small 😊At times even birds, rabbits and Guinea pigs. We have taken care of my our grand dogs and grand kitties. We have chosen not to have our own animals friends in this season of our life because of the freedom it gives us to visit our children , grandchildren and great grandchildren we have in different states now. But feel we would enjoy helping others with their friends in our retirement. Our yard has a white picket fence and is a decent size for someone to run around in, but it is not completely fenced in. We are retired. We do not have any daily obligations anywhere. We go to church and we visit our children out of state on some of the holidays. Of course we would keep a close eye on them and see that they have water and ther food and a place to rest and as many potty breaks as needed. Also feel like they should be able to get the exercise they need with fresh air outside. Between a porch and deck that they can enjoy with us. Walking with a lease around the yard and their lease attached to an outside chain for their individual walking/running 😊

I live in an apartment but only board one dog at a time, so your pet gets plenty of individual attention. I’m very active and enjoy long walks, and there’s a dog park nearby where I can take your dog to run and play. As a teacher in a year-round district, I also have extended breaks when I’m available for full-time pet care, which works well for longer trips or vacations. I look forward to giving your pet great care and giving you peace of mind. I’m available to board most weekends and especially during my school breaks since I work on a year-round schedule. On workdays I’m off by 3:00 PM, which allows me to stop by homes in the afternoon and evening to care for pets. My Home: I have one dog named Libby who can keep your pup company. I only take one additional dog at a time, so your pet will receive plenty of individual attention. I also live near the Cape Fear River Trail and walk it regularly, so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time and exercise. Due to my dogs age and health complications that come with it, I've gained experience with senior care. This includes light stretches, red light therapy, medication, etc. Watching her grow up gave me the incentive to support other pet parents by making sure their pets are taken care of while they're away. I've watched a family friend's 4 cats for the past 4 years, as well as 2 others. I enjoy what I do, and I'd love to extend my services to you! I'm currently working part-time, so outside of work, your pet will be my number one priority! I can stop by in the morning and afternoon for at least 1 hour each, spend quality time with them, clean up if necessary, and make sure they're comfortable for the evening before heading out. When I arrive, I'll greet your pet at the door or, if applicable, at their kennel. I'll look around and do any easy clean up, let them outside to potty or clean up litter boxes, make sure food and water are good, and then spend some quality time with your baby. About: I've been around dogs all my life. My grandparents were breeders for Scotties, Cocker Spaniels and Terriers. My personal pets have been Velvet a cooker spaniel, Tobby a shepherd/lab mix, Doobee a shepherd/collie mix and my current cohort is Harley a 50 lb mixed breed rescue from texas. I have completed over 18 months of weekly training with Harley culminating with AKC canine good citizen certificate. What i learned from that experience was the importance and significance of consistency. Additionally that I am trained to be as consistent as possible in providing the type of care that you prefer for your pet. About: Puppies need time, patience, and most of all fun! Most of the time, puppies are stripped away from their families and are just looking for their pack. It is very important to create a safe environment and show love towards dogs. They are our protectors, and we are their caregivers I am retired. Although my husband is in the military, I do have free time most of the week. I am more than willing to be flexible and to also be a routine caregiver. For both dogs and cats, I do have two cats and one dog. I understand that while my pets are family, they are all individuals.
