About: I have cared for multiple different breeds of dogs through out my life. I love animals and treat them as my own. No dog is to big or to wild to be cared for and loved for and duration of time I am comfortable with giving medication when needed, and have experience with basic obedience in animals. All ages are welcome I do work so drop in sitting would only be on the weekends. I can care for pets over night and pet sit cats as much as needed. Over nights are more than welcome at anytime, as well as checking on pets in their own home I have a fenced in yard. I also walk daily when pet sitting and the pets have full access to my home as if they were part of our own family.

About: Hi there! My name is Lex, and I recently relocated from Washington State to Cameron, NC! I’m currently between jobs after working as a career barista for over a decade, which gives me plenty of flexibility to take care of your pets. I have experience caring for dogs of all personalities, from senior pups to energetic dogs who love getting outside and exploring. About: Being apart from my furbabies made me start doing dog sitting, and I fell in loved with the experience and how it turned our home more fun and exciting and have decided to keep it going. I’m an Air Force veteran and used to work on call for 14 hour shifts, an hour away from home, 3-4 days a week and the worst was leaving my dog. I always wanted people to send me pictures, texts, updates, etc. but rarely could get them so I GET IT!!! I send tons of pictures, possibly a bit overboard, I know how much it means to people who travel. I do everything that I used to want when I traveled!!! To help ensure that we will be the right fit for you and your dog, please make sure you read this entire profile and understand any additional fees that may apply (listed at end of profile) before contacting me to avoid rate misunderstandings. Rates are inclusive of all care required within our home or at your home, along with plenty of photos/ videos, sent to your preferred method or in a group chat with your loved ones so you can share the moments together even you are away from each other. Please understand that just because your dog is friendly and gets excited when seeing or meeting other dogs, it does not mean they are completely socialized. Some dogs can trigger others by not respecting personal space (both with dogs and humans) therefore I would have to correct that behavior so they know how to act the next time that scenario occurs. I also want to be consistent with the boundaries and structure you as the owner have provided in order to keep your dog balanced in this new environment. Most of all, please be honest about your dog's habits so that I can be prepared to best care for your furbaby. Please understand that the less time I spend correcting them, the more time I can spend giving them love and fun. My goal is to make sure all the doggies have a blast; however, beyond that our priority is their safety and that they are a good fit for our pack. Therefore if it is not a last minute request then I always require a meet-and-greet. Please note I don't usually accept last minute requests for services in my home but I am happy to assist if available, depending on pack compatibility and ability to separate if needed. Dogs that are not from the same household are not left unsupervised together. If I am hosting multiple guests you will be informed. However your dog will need to be crated (or left in the playpen) when left unsupervised since this is our home and it wouldn’t be unexpected for a dog to potentially act differently in a new place than at their own home. Which is also why we request owners being their pup’s own crate (when possible) that they are already used to so they are comfortable being in it when at new place. ***POLICIES & ADDITIONAL FEES*** Holiday fee- Per Rover policy, applies to all nights/ walks/ drop-ins on a booking. This fee is applied to every pet for boarding/ daycare services and to the first pet on Drop-in/ Walks services. Holiday fee is applicable to the entire stay when it overlap the holiday day or the weekend of the following federal and cultural holidays: - Martin Luther King Jr. Day - President's Day - Valentine's Day - Easter - Memorial Day - 4th of July - Labor Day - Halloween - Thanksgiving (Wednesday- Sunday) - Christmas through New Year's (Dec. 23rd- Jan.2nd) Unaltered dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis and may incur an additional fee if it is determined special accommodations need to be made. Females in heat are never accepted for any boarding or daycare guests. If your dog comes into heat during a stay, you will be required to make immediate alternate pet care arrangements through an emergency contact, your vet office or other. If arrangements are not made in a timely manner, an additional daily fee of $100 will be applied. If your pup is older than 2 and is still a strong leash puller or has behavioral issues that require significant attention, then there is an additional charge of $5/ night. This is because as strong leash puller is more physically demanding and throws off the balance of the rest of the pack. When a dog is unable to walk with the pack it often results in requiring me to do extra walks which takes playtime and TLC away from other dogs. I want to enjoy the walk as much as your dog therefore please also be mindful of the type of collar, harness and leash you use on your pups since it can play a huge role on how your dog walks and whether you can make it heel for you. Please make sure you always provide sitters with the correct tools for your specific dog (and their unique behavior) which means an appropriate collar or harness. I am happy to provide suggestions and give you some options. Additional examples of behavioral issues would be dogs that are chronic whiners or barkers and if your adult dog has a history of indoor marking, please be honest and understand we may need to crate it for up to 4-6 hrs max (usually less). It's not right for any sitter to have to clean up after a grown dog and if you are honest with us about potential issues you are aware of then we can be pro-active in preventing accidents. New clients: Test daycare or overnight stay required for anything longer than one night (especially holidays) so we can make sure it's a good fit. If your dog shows any aggression toward other dogs, this would not be a good fit. Because I do Rover full time, I need to make sure your dog is completely good with all ages of dogs (some dogs just don't like puppy energy.) I can separate them but I prefer not to for longer stays and/or holiday weeks. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week. As a small business owner, I manage my own schedule, making it easy to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits with advance notice. I keep my calendar up to date and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, ensuring every pet receives dependable, attentive care. I treat every client’s home with the same care and respect I would my own. During each visit, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of affection. I always ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, clean up after pets, and send updates with photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

Pet sitting is my full time job, boarding dogs/cats at my home will ensure 24.7 care therefore, the rates goes up after the second night. Pups have a schedule for playtime 3 times a day, and potty breaks every 2 hours, I also work accordingly with your pups energy, if they sleep more or need more play time, they'll get what they need. I can handle Any special needs and administer medication if needed. Last potty break is 10pm and then next day at 6-7 am, please communicate if your pup needs extra potty breaks during the night. When I'm house sitting for your pups, I can stay per request 24.7 to ensure your babies get the attention they need. We are a team of 2, we provide professional pet care thanks to our veterinarian knowledge and background. Yleana has more than 10 years of experience caring for animals as well as a vet assistant background. Tathiana has 5 years of experience and veterinarian background and is currently working to finish her license. Yleana handles all the boardings and daycares in her home which has a doble fenced in yard with security cameras. House sitting will be provided by her as well, as a constant 24.7 care in your home, specialized for seniors pups that needs medicine administration, and constant diaper changes. Tathiana handles all the walks and drop in visits, providing your fur babies with the same love, care and routine as if you never left home. We charge a $20 fee for meet and greets at the owners house. This applies for drop in visits and house sitting.

I follow your pet's routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication, and I always double-check that doors, gates, and windows are secure so no one slips out. I keep dogs leashed on walks, supervise any time outside, and make sure fresh water is always available. If your pet stays with me, I start with a meet and greet so everyone can get comfortable before the stay. My German Shepherd and Siberian Husky are very friendly with other dogs, and I introduce new pups slowly and supervise all playtime to keep things safe and relaxed. I also have a fully fenced yard where pets can run and play safely. Your pet will get the same attention, structure, and love that my own dogs do.
