2. Elizabeth P.
“Elizabeth is one of the most caring, compassionate, and empathetic people that I know. She has been through many trials and tribulations in life and never ceases to amaze me with her resilience and positive attitude. I met Elizabeth when we were in junior high, and now we are both in our thirties and I have watched her grow and mature in to an amazing person. She has always been so loving towards animals, including her sweet Australian Shepherd, Boone, who I know is the light of her life. Anyone who hires Elizabeth to care for their pets should know that they are in the best of hands.”
3. Mark S.

4. Elise M.

7. Kathleen A.
“Katie is absolutely outstanding while caring for my dog. He is extremely particular with people and he gets the zoomies whenever she comes to visit him. Superior communication with us about any needs buddy has while we are away along with keeping us updated about any changes going on. Katie makes sure to send us picture updates also so we know how buddy is doing! I cannot highly recommend her services more.”
8. Madeline B.
“I cannot say enough about how Madeline has treated my pets. She has been taken care of my cats and dogs for the past 2 years and have never had a problem. My cats and dogs absolutely love her. I wouldn't have any other person pet sitting my precious animals.”
9. Victoria R.
“If I could give Victoria ten stars for her pet-sitting skills, I would, but apparently, that’s not allowed in the ‘real world’! While I was away, she transformed my house into an animal paradise where Loki (the dog) received five-star belly rubs, and Salem and Odin (the cats) were serenaded with classical music—all while plotting world domination from their cat towers! When I returned, my pets looked happier than when I left, and Loki couldn’t decide between a new 'best friend' and a juicy steak that he apparently ‘negotiated’ with Victoria. In short, if you want your pets pampered while you’re away, Victoria’s the ultimate pet wizard—they won’t want to see you back!”
10. Melissa S.
“Melissa is such a great choice of sitter for your baby! It was my first time using Rover for a dog walker and Melissa was a great first walker! She did amazing with my Chimmy and if I need a walker again she’d be my first choice!!”
11. Holly W.
“Holly's love for animals is extraordinary. She has worked with everything from dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats, snakes, lizards, birds..you name it, she has cared for them. She always makes sure our animals are watched carefully and tended to. Since she is in the veterinarian field, she is very knowledgeable about the care of your pets. She always follows my instructions as to how I want my pets cared for when she has them with her.”
12. Samantha C.
About: I have cared for friends and family pets for many years. Trained my own service dog, and helped train family dogs. Dogs thrive on routine so when you can't be there, I can. I also care for cats and have had cats all my life. I understand the behavior challenges some dogs have , and how it can affect your relationship with your dog. I can help remove that barrier. My husband is Active Duty and I am a stay at home spouse. So I figured why not try to help busy lives become a little less busy by offering help with your cherished fur babies. I absolutely love training dogs, I was a trainee apprentice in NJ before I moved to NC. I am not claiming any formal experience just learned knowledge to help you with your new puppy or older dog . I believe all dogs can be trained, it just takes consistency and patience. I will come to you. Care in your pets own enviroment helps reduce stress on the pet while your away. I will care for your pet like they are my own.
13. Lesley N.
About: I have had 7 dogs, 8 cats, and a whole farm of animals throughout most of my life. I not only love them, but care deeply and have learned to understand that all are different in what makes them happy and how to best make them comfortable. Routine is so important and as I would want someone to make sure my dogs are happy and taken care of, I’ll put the same love and attention into taking care of your babies. I don’t have a job since I just moved into the area. Flexible times for whatever you need, and can follow whatever schedule you have for your pets I have two dogs who have their own room and fenced backyard, extremely friendly and playful, they have extensive care (my choosing) so I’m used to complicated requests and have no problem fulfilling them.
14. Shawna T.
“Shawna is such a great sitter! She is attentive to my dogs, they eat when we are gone, they are always happy when they come back & her kids spend all the time loving on our babies when we are away!”
15. Ivy B.
“Ivy was a great pet sitter when I traveled internationally for a week. She took care of my two kittens during this time and helped ease my anxiety about leaving 5 month old kittens for longer than a work day. Every day she texted me pictures and videos of them eating, playing, and just being crazy kittens. Prior to me leaving, Ivy listened to all of my instructions to make sure their daily routine was followed and I knew that they were in good hands the entire time I was gone. Ivy loves animals and it shows through the attention she gives them while you're away. I know that she will be an amazing pet sitter for your four-legged fur baby just like she was for mine!”
16. Juliet B.
“Juliet is wonderful with pets! She takes care of my loves and they get so excited when they see her. She is a loving girl with a huge heart!”
17. Karen M.
“I think Karen would be an excellent pet sitter, she's pet-sitted my bests numerous times and always keeps them safe and occupied. She's reliable in making sure they get their walks, play time, and feeding.”
18. Lisa S.
About: Hello! I am a total dog lover. I grew up having dogs in my home, so from an early age I learned to be responsible and care for them. I treat every dog like its my own. I have always had a passion for taking care of animals, I even used to volunteer at the dog shelter so I could make those dogs feel loved and cared for while they waited for their forever home. Your pup is in great hands while in my home, you can rest assured that he/she will be treated like one of the family. While I no longer offer such services, I have experience house sitting and taking care of the dogs in those homes why their owners are away.
19. lindsay p.
“Another Rover walker canceled on me the morning of my scheduled walks while I was out of town so I was left desperate to try and find someone that could let my husky Koda out as soon as possible. Lindsay was so incredibly quick in getting back to me and made time in her day to make sure my baby was taken care of. It was only an hour from the time I contacted her to the time she came to walk Koda and I couldn’t be more grateful. She sent updates and pictures and he couldn’t have looked happier (and well exercised which is a lot to ask for with a husky). Will definitely be using Lindsay again!”
20. Sarah K.
“Sarah was phenomenal and took great care of our fur babies and she even cleaned up our kitchen she’s fabulous, I highly recommend her well definitely keep in touch with her!”
