About: Hey I’m Dayana! I’ve always loved animals, and I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. My goal is to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I have a 6-year-old Pit Bull of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling larger breeds. I’ve also done basic training with my own dog, so I’m familiar with reading body language, recognizing stress signals, and adjusting my approach based on each dog’s needs. I do work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule and can often adjust my availability to fit your needs. I also have access to Fort Bragg, so I’m available to care for pets both on and off post. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your baby is in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! 🐾 I do work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule and can often adjust my availability to fit your needs. Rena was great! Met me in person before hand because I a neurotic dog mommy. She listened to all my concerns with my pup and was super attentive with all my requests (and I have alot of requests because my dog has been attacked before). Rena treated my baby like he was her own!

About: We are an animal loving household! We have our own 2 precious pups and have loved many more throughout our lives. I am a stay at home mom so the dogs are hardly ever left alone and let out regularly. My daughter is a professional animal entertainment and loves to play fetch and run wild with the pups. Before joining the military my husband was a Vet Tech so you can count on him for proper feedings, medication, and any emergencies that may arise. I have a completely free schedule as I am currently a stay at home mom. Outside of loving on my own babies, My favorite pastime is hanging out with others. I am open to drop ins, walks, and boarding if your pups want to come hang out with mine! I live in a good neighborhood where we take nightly walks apart from the time spent in our fenced in back yard! Fetch is a fan favorite in my house so we spend large portions of our day playing this game. I love dog snuggles so you can believe they’re getting all the lovin they need plus some when they hang out with me!

About: I've been pet sitting for the past 4 years, caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. In addition to my professional experience, I've grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I understand that every pet has their own routine and unique needs, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Whether that's walks, playtime, feeding, administering simple medications, or just providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I've built a strong reputation through word of mouth for being dependable, trustworthy, and compassionate. I'm excited to use this platform to connect with more pet owners and continue providing reliable, attentive care that gives both pets and their families peace of mind. Pet care is a big part of my daily life! After completing four years in the Marine Corps, I now have a flexible schedule that allows me to focus on caring for pets. I regularly babysit, dog sit, walk dogs, and care for cats whenever opportunities arise, so my days are centered around providing dependable care for families in my community. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I love being able to give pet owners peace of mind while they're away. Whether it's sticking to a pet's routine, going on walks, or simply providing companionship, I make sure every pet receives the attention and care they deserve. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. As a former Marine, I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and take responsibility seriously. I'll carefully follow your pet's routine, respect your home, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how they're doing. My goal is to create a calm, loving environment where your pet feels safe and cared for while you're away. Whether they need lots of playtime and exercise or prefer quiet companionship and cuddles, I'll tailor my care to their individual personality and needs. I treat every pet—and every home—with the same level of respect and care that I would expect for my own.

About: Hey there, my name is Megan and I've grown up with pets and the understanding of the love people have for their pets. I just moved to the Fayetteville area from Florida, and I have worked in 2 different boarding houses and one daycare facility in my life, leaving me with about 10 years of experience with animals. I'm comfortable with most dogs any size, and can also handle cats. I love animals of all kinds and try to comfort and love each and every one! I have walked dogs only through the one boarding job I've had but am 100% comfortable with walking dogs as I have 2 of my own. I'm willing to work Holidays and weekends! I hope you will concider me to take care of your furry friend/friends and hope to hear from you! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. Each day, I set aside dedicated time for feeding, fresh water, exercise, and affection. I routinely check on each pet’s health, clean up their living areas, and follow any specific instructions from the owner. Throughout the week, I stay consistent with walks, play sessions, grooming, and updates for the client. This structure helps keep every pet happy, healthy, and on a steady routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their regular routine to keep the animals comfortable. I provide fresh food and water, give any needed medication, clean litter boxes or outdoor areas, and make sure they get plenty of playtime and attention. I also keep the home secure, follow all instructions closely, and send updates so the client knows their pets are safe and happy.

I grew up with cats and guinea pigs, and I’ve also pet-sat for dogs, bunnies, and more. I love all animals and am happy to help with bathing and light grooming too. I'm currently a student so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your pets as needed! I'm flexible on all times of the day. I always prioritize safety by following your pet’s routine and any special instructions closely. I make sure doors and windows are secure, keep hazardous items out of reach, and monitor your pet’s behavior for signs of stress or illness. I’m also comfortable giving baths or medication if needed. About: Fort Bragg Access! I’ve owned all kinds of animals since I was little, from small animals, to reptiles, to dogs and cats, and even farm animals. I am no stranger to taking care of critters, I have years of experience caring for and training in both a personal home setting and plenty of handling and care in professional settings as well! I spent over a year working for a doggie daycare and boarding facility and later worked at a vet office, handling all sizes and attitudes you can imagine. I know how to handle different types of personalities and bond with them all. I also know how to watch body language and react appropriately, which I find to be very helpful when first beginning to enter the home and getting to know the furbabies. I am comfortable with any kind of situation you can throw my way, I just ask for details ahead of time so I provide the best care and experience for everyone’s furbabies :). I currently work a very flexible schedule that allows me to plan my day around stops and visits. When I am needed it is very easy to be there! When stopping by other’s homes to care for their pets, I make sure to give them plenty of time to potty or clean up any messes/litter boxes depending on the situation. That is so important when making visits while owners are away, no one wants to come back to a stinky home. I also make sure to spend plenty of time providing whatever kind of enrichment is preferred, I love being around furbabies and as long as they are accepting of the company, I don’t want them to feel alone while their owners are away. My own pets have a feeding and medication schedule we follow, so I am no stranger to following strict plans.

About: As long as I can remember I have been surronded by animals. From childhood to now I have worked in many animal environments including pet grooming facilities and even dog walking and boarding on my own. My experience doesn’t just stop there though. I have experience with dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and amphibians! My husband is active duty and I am here to hold down the fort. With that being said, I have plenty of free time. My days are usually spent at home and the company of furry friends makes home much more lively. I believe that owning a pet is like having a child and we all have different wants and needs for our pets. I plan to follow guidelines that are set up for me to have the most success with your pets. This includes: feeding and feeding times, crating or free roaming, lots of activities or just lazy day. I want the best for both the pet and the pet parent.

We take pride in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment that helps your pet feel at home while you’re away. We send daily updates and photos, follow your care instructions closely, and treat your pet like family. Our clients appreciate our communication, flexibility, and dedication. Many return again and again! 🐶 For Dog Parents: 🏡 Home & Yard Setup: • Large fully fenced backyard for exercise, play, and sunbathing. • Three rooms in the house, separated with gates for comfort and safety. • Indoor and outdoor security cameras for peace of mind. • Dogs are crated when we step away from the house to ensure everyone stays safe. If your pup isn’t crate-trained, let us know and we’ll make special arrangements. • We accept multiple bookings, so your dog may have playmates during their stay. If your dog needs solo accommodations or doesn’t get along with others, just let us know in advance. • Please ensure your dog arrives clean for their stay. Note: Unfortunately I cannot accept boarding bookings for unneutered male dogs. I would be happy to do house visits instead. 🌙 Nighttime Routine: We stick to your dog’s usual bedtime habits, whether that means a crate, a special blanket, or cuddling on the couch. Just let us know what helps your pup feel secure at night! 🐾 Behavioral Support: We’re experienced with shy, anxious, or high energy dogs and can accommodate special routines or extra space if needed. Communication is key, let us know your dog’s quirks and we’ll take care of the rest. 🐕 Resident Dogs: • Archer and Xeena are playful and full of energy, great for social dogs! • Koda is sweet and mellow, she prefers human company and usually hangs out in our bedroom. All three are medium sized, dog and cat friendly, and well socialized. 🐱 Resident Cats: • Zuko is our playful kitten who acts more like a dog. • Calypso prefers her independence and lounges in her cat tree, but she’s dog aware and unbothered. Dafne is amazing!! This was my first time using Rover and she made sure my pup and I were well informed of the process. She initiated a meet and greet to make sure we were a good fit for each other which helped out a lot! She was very punctual and documented everything. 10/10 communication. Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fort Bragg. On Rover:

  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
