PLEASE GO TO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO FIND THE QUESTIONS FOR MORE INFO ABOUT YOUR PUP(S) My name is Samantha, Sam for short! I have been caring for animals for over 15 years both personal pets as well as watching others pets. I have been working with Rover since 2017 and have always been able to outshine anyone's expectations even if someone has any doubts! We always have friends here and have plenty of friends of all sizes, ages, and breeds throughout the week. I have had so many pet parents worried about their pups and I love to be that person who eases any worries they may have! I do what I do because I ADORE animals especially dogs. They have a special place in my heart that just overthrows everything. The patience I have gotten from working with animals and children shines through in my everyday life as a past doggy daycare owner and as a sitter. I am also able to help if you are having any type of issues with your babies. I have worked closely with those that have social anxiety and/or seperation anxiety. All issues can be addressed and I can help find the best ways to help them adjust and cope. Alot of the times these issues go away with the proper attention and training! I used to work at Petco so I have a lot of useful information from best grooming items, food information, training tips and tricks, and much more. I have a little bit of veterinary information that I learned from a college course. I classify myself as a behaviorist as I help parents with behavior problems, identify issues, and help the pups ease out of unwanted behaviors. I also work with It Takes a Village Rescue as well working with the pups they need assistance with behavior wise. There isn't anything that can stop me in showing your pet that they are an all star and deserve all the love in the world. I have helped pet parents with training their dogs, getting cats and dogs use to baths and nail trims, teaching people what a little bit more patience can do for a nervous pup, and I have even been able to handle the most aggressive of dogs accordingly. There are so many unique and spunky dogs out there and I love discovering all of them! I promise, when you book a sitting, walk, doggy daycare, or any other service with me, you will not be anything less then satisfied and overjoyed! I will make sure you have plenty of pictures of your pup and keep you updated if they are staying over for longer periods of time. I am the happiest when I am surrounded by animals. No matter the species. There is no dog too big nor too small for me! My schedule is open during the week but I get my children Thursday night to Monday so I am available Monday evenings to Thursday mornings. We will go outside to play and potty every hour and spend AT LEAST 15 minutes (depending on how they are feeling and how the weather is) outside. I know no dog prefers being cooped up inside. Please provide a written note with instructions for your own pups needs.

Ratings and reviews
I highly recommend Samantha. My 2 dogs love her. She goes above and beyond to take care of them and insure they enjoy their time together. She came to my house prior to the appointment to make sure my dogs felt comfortable with her. I thought this was very professional of her. She is very knowledgeable of the different breed of dogs and knows how to approach them.

Horrible experience with Samantha. If you have any special requests, go ahead and find another sitter before she robs you! I paid this woman almost double her rate ($9 extra) to take my dog to the dog park while I was at work, because his normal sitter (Alyssa--go book her on Rover; she's awesome!) was not available. Instead of taking my high-energy black lab (who needs lots of mental stimulation and time to run around off leash, making it not good to leave him at home while I'm at work without a visit from a sitter) to the dog park as I requested, she leashed him up and walked him a little bit around my complex. I understand being worried about the heat, but she pocketed the extra money and didn't mention her concerns to me whatsoever, nor that she hadn't taken him to the dog park, until I brought it up to her after I looked at her post-walk map. When I asked for a partial refund (on JUST the extra money!) she refused because she "had to drive all the way from Fayetteville." How long it takes a sitter to arrive to my home is not my concern; if the drive from Fayetteville to Raleigh was such an issue for her, she could have easily denied my booking request. That money was explicitly for gas from my home to the dog park, NOT the drive from her home to mine. Why would I want a stranger I'd never interacted with to pull up to my home so badly that I would pay for her drive here when I had other options on an app like Rover?? Her excuse for why she didn't take my dog to the park was the heat and that she "didn't want him getting bit by other dogs (??)." Sure, the heat could be a valid concern, but she didn't mention it once nor offer to give me the extra money back. And if she was genuinely concerned about my large 60-pound dog getting bit by other dogs, she would've denied my booking request. Completely unprofessional and an awful experience.

Samantha is great! She is very accommodating and great with my dog Layla. Layla had recently had surgery and I felt totally comfortable leaving her with Samantha. I would definitely use her again.
Sam is truly great and amazing with animals! It’s really hard for me to feel comfortable with someone else watching my pups but we quickly felt at ease with Sam. She’s kind, seems to read doggy minds, fast to respond, and frequent with updates.❤️?

Sam was amazing! Her dogs tired my pup out and he had the time of his life playing all weekend! She was quick with responding and sent tons of videos and pictures! I will definitely be sending my pup again this summer! Thank you Sam!❤️

Samantha & her family are amazing!! always sending me pictures & updates of how my dog is doing! the dogs are outside majority of the day to run around & live their best life! 10/10 recommend.

Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I provide your pet a safe person to look to. I always leash during walks and if other dogs approach, especially off leash, I am usually standing in front of the pups incase there is any confrontation. Your pet's safety, happiness and health are the most important to me.
Pets
A typical day
I love to encourage physical and mental stimulation. We will play outside, play with toys, play with water, go on walks, play tug-a-war, and whatever your dog prefers will become a daily routine. Treats will be used as a way to help reinforce or help with training your pups. Whatever you have to help stimulate your pups I will use accordingly. We can also go to the dog park if you as the pet parent approve!

- Here are a couple of important questions to answer when finding a good sitter! ^Are they spayed/neutered? (This helps me plan for their behaviors) ^Are they house trained? (Gives me insight on any training we will be working on) ^How much and how often does your pet eat, go outside, and go to the bathroom? ^How do you normally deal with good and bad behavior? ^What is the pet's behavior like on a walk? Are they considered a "runner"? (Helps me prepare for behaviors during walks) ^What are their favorite toys and games to play? Favorite treats or snacks? ^What should I do incase of a medical emergency or if they get out when they are not suppose to be out? ^Is there anything your pet is scared of or reacts to? Any behaviors I should know about? ^Is your pup crate trained? Do they have separation anxiety? Do they get anxious easily? ^Are they food/toy aggressive? ^How do they react to other dogs/cats/outdoor animals (e.g. squirrels) ^Any special needs? Such as special diet, daily or weekly medications, allergies, daily brushings, etc. ^Is there anything you would like me to know about your pet that isn't already asked? I do not have breed preferences. However, I would love to know the other animals, people, and age ranges your pet has grown up around or does well/not well with so it can help me improve their stay. EVERY dog is different and there is no such thing as a bad dog.
