About: I have access to Ft. Bragg😊 I have taken care of friends and families animals since I was a child as well as two cats of my family's. I've had a family dog for about 10 years who loves to go on walks and play fetch. I've previously worked at a doggy daycare, where I've become familiar with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I have a part time job at a restaurant where I work anywhere from 4-9 hour shifts (mostly nights). I am in a sonography program, but in between schoolwork and taking care of my dog's wants and needs, I like to knit or do anything artsy related. While walking any dog, I always make sure their safety comes first, and secondly I make sure they're having fun, they're comfortable, and they're enjoying their walk. I will let your dog use their senses to lead us on the walk but I will make sure we don't get too far or get lost.

About: Hey I’m Dayana! I’ve always loved animals, and I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. My goal is to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I have a 6-year-old Pit Bull of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling larger breeds. I’ve also done basic training with my own dog, so I’m familiar with reading body language, recognizing stress signals, and adjusting my approach based on each dog’s needs. I do work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule and can often adjust my availability to fit your needs. I also have access to Fort Bragg, so I’m available to care for pets both on and off post. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your baby is in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! 🐾 I do work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule and can often adjust my availability to fit your needs. We had a wonderful experience with Chatavia! She is very kind, reliable, and flexible with our needs. She made sure that Noey was always safe and well cared for, and she completed all the tasks during his walks exactly as requested. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We are truly grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter! 💕

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of patience, reliability, and genuine care I bring to every dog I work with. I always treat each pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and engaged while you’re away. I’m attentive to routines, quick to pick up on each dog’s personality, and always communicate clearly with updates, photos, and check-ins. I also have hands-on experience working with puppies—helping with basic training, reinforcing good habits, and keeping their schedules consistent. For senior dogs, I’m very gentle and understanding of their needs, from slower walks to medication reminders and extra comfort. No matter the age, size, or energy level, I tailor my care to fit exactly what your dog needs. Overall, I bring professionalism, compassion, and a calm, dependable presence that helps your pet feel right at home. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work Monday–Friday from 8–5, but I’m very flexible and can adjust my schedule when needed. Before and after work, I make time for walks, feedings, check-ins, and playtime, and I’m always available for early mornings, evenings, and weekends. I plan my days around making sure pets get the attention, structure, and consistency they need, so even with a full schedule, I’m always able to provide reliable and loving care. When I’m caring for pets in my client’s home, I make sure to follow their routine exactly the way the owner prefers. I keep things familiar for the pet—feeding at their normal times, sticking to their usual walk schedule, and keeping their environment clean and comfortable. I always give plenty of playtime, attention, and affection, and I send regular updates and photos so owners feel connected and reassured while they’re away. If a pet requires special care—like medication, crate routines, puppy training, or senior support—I make sure those needs are handled consistently and gently. My goal is to keep pets relaxed, happy, and safe by making their day-to-day life feel as normal as possible, whether I’m stopping in for a visit or staying longer.

About: More than 20 years providing care for dogs in clients’ and my own home, ensuring comfort and safety. Managed feeding schedules, exercise, grooming, and medications as needed. I’m a nurse. I used to work in the emergency department but now I work remotely from home. I wake up daily at 6am so I can get ready for my day. I’m always home, if I need to leave the house it’s usually for less than an hour. I even have my groceries delivered. Therefore, your pet will never be left alone. I don’t have any pets of my own. I have a fenced backyard with adequate space to roam. My home is one level so no stairs for any pets that can’t travel up and down the stairs freely. I have 2 teenage daughters that are very helpful.

About: I've spent the majority of my life tending to various different pets (dogs, cats, & smaller breeds such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and birds). I have great compassion for animals and strive to facilitate a sense of comfort, fun, and care for them. I'm currently abundantly available Sundays through Fridays, not on Saturdays as I work my other job. I understand caring for pets is a constant commitment. I am comfortable integrating calmly into your home space, patiently tending to animals that may require a little extra care, and giving plenty of head pats/belly rubs/cuddles/treats (if they're allowed).

About: HI, I’m Sierra, located in Raeford. 🐾 Our new home is fenced on over 1 acre of land for your dog to run and play! We have always had a family dog in the home! We also have fostered a few dogs over the last 8 years. We were active members of rescues in Spain, Germany and now here in Fayetteville. See pics in my profile. ♥️ What can you and your dog expect from me as a Rover sitter? • Clean & Tidy home • Nightly refresh of rubber toys and bowls • Clean , comfortable bedding and a safe space for your dog • Unlimited water • Post stay report card about your dog ♥️ ————————————- *BOARDING • I am able to board your pet for extended stays during TDY or Deployment. Last minute? That’s ok, shoot me a message. ☺️ • Safety is my number 1 priority for both you and I. If you know your pet is not comfortable with children, we are not a good match. We have been able to keep our kiddos hands on in this process and we would like to continue safely in order to instill that same love and respect for animals that we have. My schedule is flexible since we are a homeschooling family. ☺️ We are gone for a short amount of time each day. I have safe zones and kennels for all dogs to be comfortable while I am not in the home. I have a fully fenced in 1 acre yard! Your dog will always be under supervision while around my other pups or my children. I feed them all separately. I introduce them to each other one at a time after drop off. While another pup is coming or going I will kennel your dog for safety. ♥️

Marissa was so good with Luna, she’s not very close to people but once Marissa left the house my ring camera went off for baby crying detected when I saw it was Luna crying at the door. I felt so sad because that’s how I know Luna really liked a person. I was really grateful that Marissa was able to respond last minute on the spot to my request.!

Terri had been such a great sitter!! I’ve used her multiple times now because of the great experience with her. The first time I used her she was so responsive to the booking request and was more than understanding of what I needed for my dogs. Every time she walks them I know they’re getting the right attention needed for two high energy dogs. They get to play and relieve some energy during the time Terri watches them! I highly recommend you book with her! She’s great!! Thank you Terri!!

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Rockfish. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
