About: I have been in the pet care industry for 6+ years, I found my love for pets as a child. Through various educational outlets, I understand pets and have been successful in gaining their trust, friendship, and keeping them safe. As a pet mom myself, I can understand various animal needs a household may have. I've worked with horses, reptiles, hamsters, cats, dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, birds, and yes, even snakes. I am very professional with dog walking, pet sitting in pet's home, and able to give some helpful tips on pet nutrition. When you combine those services altogether, it will give your pet the best quality of life while you are away from them. Simple love, tenderness, fun, and exercise all work together to give you a complete package. Hey, good news, if you are a military family, no worries, I'm a vet myself and have base access! I will make sure you feel like you are right there with your pet. I leave progress reports, share pictures of our time together, and even remind them how loved they are. Now, I take this job as fun & serious one. I like to get on all fours and be at their level. I will also keep them safe from harm and treat them as if they were my own pet. About: Hi! I have over 9 years of pet sitting and taking care of pet experience! I used to work in a dog shelter where there was a quick need for dogs in quick care and for fun playtimes! My husband and I take care of dogs together it helps me especially if the dog is very big and tuff! I am very organized and I am quick to get tasks done. I am also bilingual in Spanish and English just in case so there’s no language barrier I also have 2 sweet dogs of my own. I genuinely love dogs and I just love to see them happy it doesn’t take them much to please them and to make their day which I truly have the experience and capability to be able to do that for your dog :) I work a part time as a paralegal. I space out my hours for pet care so I can be able to give any potential furry friend the care that is needed! :) I live in an apartment complex that has a dog park nearby and my nice quiet neighborhood is walking distance from middle school and gym. Currently right now my dog has been staying with my mom so she can get that company only for this summer! So I look forward to having the opportunity through Rover. “She really helped me out of a bind when I had no one to let my 6 month old puppy out of her kennel for a pee and water break during the day while I worked my 12 hour shifts for 2 days. I could tell by the second day that Ellie recognized Colleen, and not only that was excited to see her again! Colleen really took care of my puppy, was patient while she sniffed everything and anything on their walk, made sure she pottied and had a drink before putting her back in her kennel for the rest of my shift.
