About: I’ve always had a special place for animals! Growing up, my home was sanctuary to 3 dogs, a cat, sweet guinea pigs, and even on occasion a ladybug or butterfly (in order to prove my caregiving skills to my parents). From my days dog-walking and pet-sitting, I honed in my pet are skills during my time working for a pet store and boarding clinic called Lucky Pets. At Lucky Pets I was able to master my pet-sitting skills, absorb many different types of dog training methods, and learn about all sorts of pet products and pet needs. I’m currently a recent graduate and UCF ROTC commissionee of the U.S. Army, and I’m awaiting my orders this summer. I have a car, and I’m able to drive to your house to watch over your pet! I’m very comfortable hanging out with your pet in mine or your home, and I’m able to feed, walk, and play with any animal big or small!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I had everything from cats and dogs to rabbits and birds. Today, all of my cats and dogs are rescue pets, and caring for them has taught me the patience, love, and attention every pet deserves. ❤️🐾 NOTE: I do have a Sanford address, but I am actually located near Western Harnett Elementary school off Buffalo Lake rd. I am not in the Sanford area whatsoever. As a retired pet lover, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to devote to your furry family members. I follow a daily routine with my own pets, starting at 4:15 a.m. with morning potty breaks and feeding. My dogs are taken out multiple times a day, and all of my pets are accustomed to a regular schedule for meals, playtime, and naps. I will provide the same attentive, reliable care to your pets as I do to my own. 🐾 I have turned my bonus room into a fun and relaxing space for my cats. There are toys, a cat tree, cozy beds for napping, and lots of places to hide and feel secure. A gate at the door keeps my dogs out, allowing the cats to enjoy their playtime and nap time without any interruptions. 🐾💕If your cat or small dog prefers to have their own space, I can simply close the door to help them feel comfortable and secure. The room is very spacious, so your pet will never feel confined or trapped. My goal is to provide a calm, stress-free environment where every pet can relax and feel at home. 🐾💕 Your small dog will always have company and attention, as they will stay with me throughout the day. My dogs are sweet, friendly, and welcoming to new furry friends. They are not aggressive and will not bother or harass your pet, ensuring a safe and stress-free stay. 🐾💕

About: I have animals since I am 6, I have a malinois in the house with us and my husky is going to join us in December. I have my husky since 6 years now, those bread teach you a loooooot of patience. My Malinois is still young only 6 months old. We also have a kitty, my parents back in France have a lot of cats that I took care for years. I am at home almost all day expect to go do some grocery or else, I take my dog out when I wake up, during the day and before going to bed. She also knows how to ask. My animals are free to go anywhere and sleep with us in the bed or in their bed at our feets. We put her in the room when we leave to avoid having to much mess everywhere. I don’t wanna put her in a crate.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my life. I am good with them I know basic care and are able to handle cats and dogs! I will be doing a dentist program soon. I am able to care for animals nightly and during weekends! Daily if able to do so. I have a big fenced yard. I have two dogs that love to play! I can definitely crate if needed and also help them get warmed up!

“This was my first experience using rover.com. After contacting Julia via the website and anytime afterwards she always contacted me immediately. I was having trouble finding a vet or facility the Saturday before and after Thanksgiving. Most wanted me to leave my dog the Friday before I left to the Monday after I returned. Julia allowed me to drop off my dog hours before my flight and I was able to pick my dog up after my flight landed very late on a Friday night. Julia sent several pictures on a daily basis. I could see my dog was becoming more comfortable every day. I was surprised that the pictures actually helped me have a more relaxed trip not worrying about her. The last time I left my dog with a vet she had nightmares for 3 nights. After using Julia my dog has had no nightmares. I will definitely use Julia again when in the area.”

About: Hi! I’m Gabriel, a veteran, teacher, and lifelong animal lover with plenty of experience caring for dogs. I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I live in an apartment but only board one dog at a time, so your pet gets plenty of individual attention. I’m very active and enjoy long walks, and there’s a dog park nearby where I can take your dog to run and play. As a teacher in a year-round district, I also have extended breaks when I’m available for full-time pet care, which works well for longer trips or vacations. I look forward to giving your pet great care and giving you peace of mind. I’m available to board most weekends and especially during my school breaks since I work on a year-round schedule. On workdays I’m off by 3:00 PM, which allows me to stop by homes in the afternoon and evening to care for pets. My Home: I have one dog named Libby who can keep your pup company. I only take one additional dog at a time, so your pet will receive plenty of individual attention. I also live near the Cape Fear River Trail and walk it regularly, so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time and exercise. Client’s Home: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful, attentive, and professional. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to make sure your pet stays comfortable and in their normal routine.

I've trained both of my dogs myself, and I've also helped train other dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to big ones. I've also cared for cats for 5 years, so whether your cat is playful and social or prefers their quiet space, I know how to give them what they need. While I'm caring for your fur babies, I'm happy to keep up with their usual routine, whether that's daily walks, trips to the dog park, or anything else that helps them feel comfortable and at home. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space and your pets with the same respect I'd give my own. I follow your pet's routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication, and I always double-check that doors, gates, and windows are secure so no one slips out. I keep dogs leashed on walks, supervise any time outside, and make sure fresh water is always available. If your pet stays with me, I start with a meet and greet so everyone can get comfortable before the stay. My German Shepherd and Siberian Husky are very friendly with other dogs, and I introduce new pups slowly and supervise all playtime to keep things safe and relaxed. I also have a fully fenced yard where pets can run and play safely. Your pet will get the same attention, structure, and love that my own dogs do. Either way, I'll send regular updates with photos so you can see how your fur babies are doing while you're away. If anything unexpected comes up, I'll contact you right away and follow your emergency and vet instructions.
