“Patricia was exactly what we needed for our Lilly. She was very loving and watched our dog like it was her own. Lilly was immediately comfortable with her and her house seemed very clean, cozy, and welcoming. She sent daily pictures and updates which is just what we wanted. Lilly loved her so much that she didnt even want to leave. We will be rebooking with her whenever we need a dog sitter again!”

“Haylee was lovely to work with. We did a meet and greet beforehand to ensure that my dog got along with her four dogs. Haylee provided updates throughout the weekend and I think our dog had a great time playing with her dogs and running around the fenced in yard.”

“Carolina was a great caretaker of our pups. She was extremely responsive via messaging, welcomed our dogs like they were her own and was very flexible with drop off/pick up. She sent lots of pictures while watching the dogs and had them ready to go for pickup, even going so far as to wash and clean their dog bowls. She also sent each one of them home with a doggy goodie bag. Will definitely be calling her to watch our doggos again in the future!”

“My Harley had a great time I was very pleased with the care and the many updates that were sent without having to ask. When Harley first arrived he had an accident I’m thinking he was nervous out the car ride she understood didn’t make an issue out of it and we went on with the appointment. Harley didn’t want to leave 🤣😊 the home was clean and cool I will certainly be rebooking.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dogs received! From the very beginning Kimberly was excellent with communication and reassuring that my pups were in good hands. She regularly updated me with photos during the stay that gave me a peace of mind.”

“Kira is one of a kind. She is a blessing to me and my babies. I have never felt comfortable leaving my babies with anyone until now She not only kept me updated but treated my babies like her own. My babies love you so much. Thank you Kira and thanks to those beautiful girls of yours too.”

“Stan Lee had a great time at Amanda’s for 6 days. She sent pictures twice a day and kept us updated. This was our first time with her but we’d feel comfortable using her again”

“Kailey and her family were absolutely fantastic with Shadow! Very loving and accommodating to him! Would definitely pick her and her family again for boarding and I recommend others to do the same!”

About: I grew up with my sweet dog starting at age 12, who is currently living back home in Korea with my family. Since she was just a one month old tiny pup, I personally trained her, including complete indoor peepad training (super common in Korean homes) as well as basic manners and commands. Honestly, I miss my dog in Korea so much that I’m longing to have furry friends around me again!🐶 As a lifelong animal lover, I promise to care for your baby with the exact same devotion, warmth, and love that I give my own. I am currently at home full-time, which means I have a super flexible schedule and plenty of quality time to dedicate to your pet! I am available every day of the week for dog walking, daycare, and overnight boarding at my home. Since I'm home most of the day, your fur baby will rarely be left alone and will receive endless love, play, and attention! Safety is my top priority! Since I recently moved in, my living room is simple with very little furniture, and I intend to keep it empty and spacious. This creates a clean, obstacle-free environment where your dog can move around safely without any risk of bumping into things or knocking items over. I always keep a close eye on them, stick to their routines, and send photo updates throughout the day!
“Andrea really took care of and loved Apollo and Bubba like they were her own. Never once did I feel anxious or scared leaving them in her care. Not only that but provided continuos updates each and every day and even provided a goodie bag at the end of their stay. Definitely recommend, your babies will be in great hands! Thank you again!”

“Haley was great and very courteous to my time when it came to dropping off and picking up Flash. She always kept me up to date with Flash whenever I messaged her, Sent me a lot of great pictures of Flash playing with her dog. Flash seemed like he didn’t want to leave her when I picked him up. Great first experience will contact again for a longer stay when I leave town.”

“Cynthia was wonderful!!! I needed a last minute holiday booking and she was able to accommodate my sweet Maggie! Maggie was happy and healthy when I picked her up and Cynthia was amazing at sending me updates on how she was doing while I was away. It was a huge worry off of my mind knowing she was well cared for.”

“Samantha & her family are amazing!! always sending me pictures & updates of how my dog is doing! the dogs are outside majority of the day to run around & live their best life! 10/10 recommend.”

“I can’t speak more highly about our experiences with Ashley! I feel so comfortable leaving our pups with her and trust that they are in great hands. She always gives updates and sends pictures. I 1000% recommend Ashley and will certainly be reaching out to her the next time we need a pup-sitter”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Bragg
I wish we could give more than 5 stars!! We dropped our dog off and he began experiencing some health issues and Rachel contacted us right away. After receiving emergency care Rachel and her husband took him back and gave him his medicine and doted on him in our absence. They were so kind and attentive. They even sent us home with some goodies! We will absolutely be rebooking them when we need a rover in the future!!

Paige and her husband were absolutely wonderful. They were extremely understanding when my plane got delayed and etc. She sent me updates and pictures without me requesting which was extremely comforting. I’m definitely using them for the next time which won’t be long. I highly recommend.

Daisy was absolutely amazing! She was able to accommodate me on extremely short notice and handled my unexpected schedule change with no issues at all. She was flexible, understanding, and made the entire process completely stress free. Most importantly, Arrow was so well taken care of. I could tell he was happy, comfortable, and in great hands. That peace of mind means everything! I truly appreciated her professionalism and willingness to adjust when things didn’t go as planned. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for someone reliable, accommodating, and genuinely caring. A&A

We were nervous about leaving our doggy since we’ve never left him before but I felt assured he was going to be great. She was available last minute and made sure our dog was comfortable the entire time. She also sent pictures and videos during his stay which we loved. I will definitely book with her again when I need a sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
