I am a full-time animal lover
I have a big heart for all animals! My husband and I have an English Golden Retriever, a little Shih Tzu-Poodle mix, & rescue kitties. I grew up in a dog loving home and have lots of pups in my immediate family. I am often elected to care for family dogs and friend’s animals while they’re away. I am a certified pet groomer with Animal Behavioral College, with a goal to eventually run my own pet grooming business. I also have experience working at a veterinary clinic, during which I was able to assist veterinarians and technicians. I am well rehearsed in first-aid and administering various medications. I spend most of my time right now in school and caring for my child. My husband is active duty deployed, so I am in Iowa for the immediate future. When my husband is not away, he often tags along for any of my pet sitting responsibilities as extra help giving your pets love and attention. However, rest assured we are respectful, and treat every household like our own. I would love to meet your K9/Feline friends!! I like to keep dogs active with walks, playtime, and time to run at the local dog park. I am confident around dogs of all sizes and nature. Fully detailed instruction on your pets preferences, routine and personality is helpful, but not required for services. I can’t wait to hear from you!

When caring for pets in my home, I try to stick to a routine every day. Breakfast is at 7am followed by walks and playtime. Quiet time roughly 12-3pm. Then, more outdoor time before 5pm dinner, followed by one evening walk. When I am house sitting, I stick to the pet parents schedule as closely as possible and can provide pampering such as grooming and lots of walks/playtime.

Each visit, I received photos and status updates which we very much appreciate when we’re away from home. She gave my cats plenty of love and care and made me feel at ease. Schedule
Drop in visits, short length overnight stays, and boarding in home are all the best options for my services. Since I have pets of my own, I only accept house sitting reservations for a maximum of 4 days so as to not neglect my own animals, as my husband tends to work long hours. Drop in visits work the best for me. I do accept boarding on a case by case basis, two week maximum stay.
