“Ashlyn was super communicative and good with my dog. I also appreciate her flexibility on change times for a cooler time of day during a heat wave. I will definitely hire her again next time I’m out of town.”

About: I'm a nature lover and natural animal lover—especially doggies. Over the years, I’ve loved and cared for my my own pets: dogs, a rabbit and a cat. Currently, I help care for my aging mom’s little senior Shitzu: weekly walks at a nearby parks, vet care and lite grooming. Comfortable with harness attaching and removal. My own beloved dog passed away a couple of years ago, I still enjoy encounters with other dogs on my daily walks, giving ear rubs and back scratches—dogs just bring me joy. Currently, I’m retired, so my availability is flexible for you and your pet’s needs. I have experience caring for various breeds and size (small to medium size dogs), but I can handle larger senior dogs. I routinely walk at various designated parks and trails in the East Bay. When I pet-sit in my apartment, I inquire about pets regular routine first: walking, feeding, and medication (if necessary). I require they provide their pet’s own: bedding, sleepwear, food and treats and up to date vaccines. I also ask for emergency info: Vet, pet-owner (s), and an alternate contact. Finally, I will send regular updates via text, pictures or videos of your pets outings or stays—live if you like!

“Victoria is a great communicator and did a fantastic job. My puppy still has a lot to learn and loose leash walking can be a lot of work. I really appreciate that Victoria was patient, understood my puppy's challenges (leash pulling), and worked to help her overcome (changing direction, etc).”

“Irina is great. We set up a pre-meet with her and she was exactly on time and asked good questions about our dog. We departed early in the morning for our trip, and Irina was scheduled to come to the house at about 10 am to take him out for a walk. We were a bit nervous because it was our first time with Irina, but she arrived exactly on time for the dog walk. She checked-in afterward with us and sent a photo as well We think that Irina is excellent and strongly recommend her.”

“Isabella is a very responsible and caring dog person. She has been caring for my pup for 7 months in a variety of ways: day/evening care, walks, and house sitting. What has impressed me most is her ability to build a bond with my people-shy and anxious pup. She is patient and kind, speaks to him in a thoughtful way and shows genuine concern for his well-being. Other skills and traits that Isabella possesses: -reliable and consistent communicator sending updates and reaching out when she has questions -flexibility with regards to scheduling, if need be, she makes adjustments -conscientious in administering my dogs meds and feeding him treats and special food -safety and privacy is top of mind with Isabella and she follows house rules and special med instructions in caring for my dog Last but not least, I have no reservations when going away because I know she will take good care of my home. Ladonna S.
“La Donna would be a great addition to your team as she is a lover of all animals, especially the 4 legged, tail-wagging ones... Her cat "Tyrone" who she had for 15 years, and her dog "Ziggy" who recently passed away were her loves in life and they were spoiled rotten..lol. She also helps care for our mom's dog "Simba", and he appreciates all the love, hugs, walks, and treats she gives to him. Forestland dog parents share their Rover experiences
Michelle is fantastic! Super communicative and reliable. She has taken such great care of our puppy Mochi! She started with him when he was too young to go on walks and took great care of him during her drop-in visits and potty breaks. When he started going on walks, she helped him with leash confidence and getting used to strangers. I always appreciated the detailed Rover cards & cute pics she took of Mochi. Definitely will book Michelle in the future and highly recommend her for drop-in visits or walks with your pup!

Laura was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so kind to come meet Rosie for a quick meet and greet and Rosie immediately loved her. Laura also accommodated a last minute change and was willing to come for a later walking shift when I found out that my schedule changed. 10/10 working with her! I felt so great knowing that Rosie was with her. Thank you so much Laura. We look forward to next time Rosie needs a walk! ❤️
