About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. I care for their physical as well as their mental health to the best of my ability. I strive to care for all animals the same way.

About: Hi there! My name is Lacy, I've taken care of all different shapes and sizes of pets since I was very young. I worked at a doggy day care for a year, as well as a dog walking company in Los Angeles where I took 5-6 dogs at a time for walks/hikes. I have some experience with simple obedience training, such as proper leash manners and basic commands like sit, stay, wait & come. I will be happy to take your dogs on walks or hikes, I'm also happy to take care of cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, etc. Let me know if I can help! Thanks! I currently work part time and I’m in my third semester of nursing school, currently taking online classes. My schedule varies from month to month but I will gladly help care for your fur babies whenever I can! My current living situation isn’t set up for me to keep pets at my home but I would love to take care of them in their own environment where they already feel comfortable and are familiar with the area!
“Gracie has gone above and beyond for my dog Beckley. She is very committed to making sure that my timid little girl is fear-free and unstressed. I highly recommend Gracie and am looking forward to working with her in the future to ensure my dog has the best experiences with her knowledge of training and compassion for animals.”

About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.
About: I’ve helped my mom pet sit her German shepherd for a year and I handled it well. I learned how to feed him properly and took care of him responsibly. I will be mostly available in the afternoon. Once school start, I will be mostly available during the weekends. Feel free to check with me on availability otherwise. I make sure to walk my dog at least three times a day and feed him the right amount of food at least two times a day. I will make sure to respect others when taking him outside and stop any improper behavior in time. I regularly buy him treats and toys.
“I ended up canceling my trip and not needing a pet sitter, but in the process, Bryce was very accommodating and understanding. He was happy to come out before the gig for a meet and greet, which I really appreciated.”

“We asked for two schedule changes for the schedule and, as always, Natasha was very nice to accommodate. We’ve used Natasha several times now and very much appreciate her personable approach and great communication.”

About: I’ve grown a loving and interested heart towards dogs but have a love for lots of different pets! I’m great at caring for more than cats and dogs:) I am currently working part time as a nanny/ babysitter and am looking for more ways to spend time with all kinds of pets :) All pets I’ve had throughout my life have all freely roamed when appropriate and have been in a crate when needed:) Depending on the owners preferences I will do what they are comfortable with for their pets!
About: I have personal and professional experience with animals. I volunteered to walk service dogs in training year round for a local nonprofit service dogs organization. I was eventually hired and served as a volunteer coordinator and then promoted to coordinate events. I met inspiring dogs and people helping people. I have a natural connection with animals and am here to provide my service to the community, caring for animals and people. Part of caring for them is learning what makes them unique and how to create homeostasis. I can provide an observational report with training suggestions for you upon request. I look forward to working together soon! I currently have flexibility in my schedule for caring for local animals. I am open to a weekly training schedule (limited space availability). I can provide feedback for ways to create a more harmonious environment and relationship between animals and persons. If there are any behaviors of concern I will observe and provide information. I am available weekdays and weekends and have plenty of energy to care for your animals! I have my own transportation and can plan for care of animals at and around your home. I will follow whatever routine your animals are accustomed to.
About: I have been pet sitting for many years. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, and even a chameleon. I really have a special affection for dogs. I connect with them and they with me. I have friends whose dogs freak out when they see me after not having seen me for a while. I take them on hikes, play with them, and do whatever is necessary to keep them in good health while in my care. I can see that all your dogs needs are met, including medications, special foods, treats, and a good night's sleep. I have a fenced-in backyard where your dog and mine can frolic while I keep an eye on them. I always supervise and dogs aren't left on their own.
“Abby was so great with our puppy, Ferris! It can be stressful trusting someone else with your pets for the first time but we had no worries after meeting Abby! She's professional, friendly and Ferris took to her immediately. She even sent us pictures and an update. We will definitely be using her again!”

“I am so thankful to have found Ava on Rover.com! She’s very knowledgable, having had her own dog care business before moving to Floyd. She’s super prompt in her responses, agreeable regarding special requests (a drop-in visit on Thanksgiving Day!!) and her love of animals is quite obvious in her interactions with our poodle-mix, Bug. She sent photos and a video clip immediately after her visit, which enabled us to continue enjoying our holiday while away from home. In addition to all that, Ava is just a lovely person, warm and personable and easy to be around. I couldn’t be more pleased that she lives around the corner from us, as I know we’ll be getting together again!”

“Zimmerman will always be the one I call when I need pet sitting/watching/exercising needs! He is always on time or early. & Not only does he work with your dogs/cats, he is great with them! I know our dogs love him!”
Katie C.

“Katie accepted the job at fairly short notice and was prompt, communicated well, and stayed to play with our buddies. Thank you for helping us out, Katie!”
Nancye D.
“I have known Nancye for more than ten years, during this time I saw how she took care of her own pet Cinder she spared no expense in the care she needed and she showed her so much love and kindness she treated her just like she was a real child. Nancye just lost her recently and she was devastated, Nancye looks after the neighbors pets, taking them treats and making sure they have food and clean water when their owners do not really pay that much attention to the animals. I don't think you could ask for anyone better to leave your pet with, she truly is an animal lover and an extrodinary caring person.”
Lacy R.
“We loved having Lacy as our dog walker! She would take our very energetic boy, Chester, on neighborhood walks or for occasional hikes at Runyon Canyon. He was always so excited to see her when she arrived at our house each week, we’d highly recommend her!!”
