About: I have been pet sitting for many years. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, and even a chameleon. I really have a special affection for dogs. I connect with them and they with me. I have friends whose dogs freak out when they see me after not having seen me for a while. I take them on hikes, play with them, and do whatever is necessary to keep them in good health while in my care. I can see that all your dogs needs are met, including medications, special foods, treats, and a good night's sleep. I have a fenced-in backyard where your dog and mine can frolic while I keep an eye on them. I always supervise and dogs aren't left on their own.

About: i’ve taken care of pets for lots of friends and family, along with neighbors! I also have grew up with cats and have two of my own! I worked a vet clinic taking care of the pets in boarding to! I have tons of years of experience! :) I stay home full time, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your babies and play/love on them! We also have 4 sweet babies of our own, that can be played with or put up pure your request! I walk pets outside with leash to insure no one gets away or hurt! I also have 4 sweet babies of my own for your fur babies to play with, but can accommodate to your needs if needed or requested!

About: Growing up with large breeds (Bernese Mountain Dog & German Shepard), I’ve always been a lover of all pets, especially dogs. Since relocating to Blacksburg area for work 7 years ago, I’ve pet sat for a variety of animals in the region, ranging from puppies to senior dogs with specific medical needs. It would be an honor to meet and care for your pets! I work full time at VT (a few days are remote/week) and part time at a brewery, although both schedules are quite flexible. I am happy to adjust schedules or remote days to meet your pets needs! I don’t have any pets in my current home, so I’m flexible to either board at my townhouse or stay at the pets home! I offer both options to all families and willing to drive up to an hour distance.

About: I have over 500 hours of dog watching and raising experience (outside of my own pets) and spent over 800 hours volunteering cat care for kittens and disabled kitties I am a grad student with a totally flexible schedule and can work from home easily if needed! About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

About: I have my own service dog that Iv had since 10 weeks old for a medical reasons. ( I’m much better and out of recovery:) We have a great connection and he is well behaved for a young male and helps with basic needs. He Loves all dogs, cats, and children! Super friendly dog but also well mannered. Walks off leash and does very well with voice commands. Very socialized and cuddle bug! He doesn’t “bark” unless playing or in emergency situations to gain attention. On multiple occasions if a small dog yips at him, he is so unfamiliar with barking so he will easily gets scared and will back down. Which is very good behavior as my other dog is an old soul and doesn’t like to play. This is great when meeting other dogs because he knows personal space :) Like I mentioned my other dog is an old soul, stays in his bed under a blanket for the most part unless his stomach tells him it’s feeding time. He loves to lay on the porch and sun bath, as well as getting scratches and napping/cuddling. Also well behaved and socialized. I also offer training as I have observed so many classes with my fur baby, and taught him a lot of cool tricks myself. Just be prepared to pick up your dog with a new trick or two !!! I have a spare bedroom for the dogs with the kennels and for separate feeding areas. All dogs will eat in separate spaces and always have multiple water bowls. I’m located in an animal loving community. I have one high energy dog and one “ old soul”. BOTH suckers for Attention, so no matter what attention your dog needs I got it ! I take my boys on hikes, trails, and out to Ponds or lakes daily. Both flee less and tick treated on a monthly basis ! I work flex for the hospital and I teach as a Montessori teacher right down the road from my house as well as a full time college student. I am very responsible, trustworthy and reliable. I reassure I balance my time very well and My boyfriend is a retired vet who is very accommodating with my schedule and loves dogs just as much as me ! No matter how busy I may be myself or my significant other is always with the dogs or we make sure not to leave longer than 2hour duration. My classes are mainly online and this allows me to do a lot of work remote to be with the furbabies ! I try to keep my work schedule away from client visits but If I am working I’m less than a mile from home and make sure to make trips back to let the animals stretch and use the bathroom. . I walk my dog daily, feeding on a 2 time daily routine, outside breaks every 2-4 hours Love play dates ! Very active Daily training exercises My boy is Kennel trained but roams free in the house ( dog proof) and our yard. (Partially fenced ) Prefer animals good with others for my fur baby to join and gain some entertainment too. I have 1 dog who is very friendly and loves to explore and play! Don’t forget a good nap time together with some cuddles ! The other just sleeps and begs for attention, old soul. My dog loves water and typically needs a bath regularly, willing to do the same. I use a baking soda base shampoo and non fragrance ear wipes. I always ask for you to bring your own shampoo you prefer incase they get dirty and I can send them home clean! My dogs gets allergies and I do Epsom salt baths for their feet if their licking a lot. I have no issue doing this for your animal if they need but will never take initiative without permission.

About: Growing up, I have done pet and house sitting in various cities and situations. I come from a family of animal lovers: my mom won't even kill a house insect, and her mom has been know to adopt cats, birds, and even the occasional squirrel! We have no dogs of our own at this point, but I love to watch other peoples' dogs to scratch that canine itch (preferrably behind the ears! 😄) I am a home body with two little ones that are yet to be in school. I will probably be home most of the time your pet is here. We have an unfenced yard with caged chickens, quails, and goats. As a family, we spend lots of time outside and on walks, so your pet will get plenty of time to excercise.

About: @ateamdogcare I have been using rover for 6 years now. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats who have been with the dogs since they were 3 weeks old. We live on 2 acres with a great fenced in yard. We love hosting pets and will treat them like our own. Im always home so let’s can stay on their normal schedules and have someone around while you’re gone. Feel free to message me with any questions! I also have experience with medications, including injectable ones. When your pup comes to stay with us we ask that you bring; their food, treats, favorite toys/bones, bed or blanket, crate (if you use one), bowls, and a leash. Or anything that might make your dogs stay easier! :)
