About: I have previously volunteered at a rescue for 10 years. I have fostered many animals for the rescue and kept some of those as well. I can handle almost anything. I've also had my fair share of special needs animals, so I'm comfortable handling pets whose needs are out of the ordinary. I've also worked with and owned most types of animals ranging from a few weeks old to 20+ years, so I can provide care to very young or very old animals. I just graduated college and am currently between jobs, so I am at home working on my fixer-upper apartment all day. My schedule is entirely flexible! I will be available almost all waking hours of the day. I can stop in on your schedule to provide care and walks, or just stay over to give the pets round the clock care. I will make sure that your pet stays happy and healthy while in my care!

About: I've been around cats and dogs of various sizes and personalities since I was very young. I have pet- and house-sat for friends and family for many years now, and it is a genuine joy to spoil their pets rotten. I have owned and pet-sat senior dogs and cats many times, and I have a decent amount of experience with oral medication. I get along great with pets of all kinds of temperaments—shy, excited, grumpy, calm, anxious—and I am not afraid to sit for pets with "difficult" temperaments, just let me know beforehand. I am an at-home writer and content creator, so I have flexible hours and can work from anywhere with an internet connection. I am my own boss, so I can easily cater to your schedule. As a proud introvert and work-from-home writer, I would spend the majority of my time with your pets at your home in a quiet, calm environment. I can easily follow instructions about your pets' normal routines while giving them lots of snuggles and pets, so they can stay loved and cared for without interruption.

About: Hi there! My name is Ashtyn! My whole life has been filled with animals! Growing up, I had a Yellow Lab, Dawson, and Maine Coon, Zeke. Sadly, they went to doggy and kitty heaven when I was around 10🥺 In November of 2023, I lost my sweet Treeing-Walker Coonhound named, Maverick. He was as feisty as they come! Now, my husband & I spend our time loving on his pup, Bella, a Pitbull/Alaskan Malamute mix, & our 1-year-old Dachshund, Rex. Although I got connected on Rover in 2023, I have taken care of all different dog breeds from small to large over the past 6 years. Many of them have been in this area, while some were down in West Palm Beach, Florida when I lived there! I have consistent clients all around!! I would love for you & your pup to be one ◡̈ I just graduated with my degree in Communications & Journalism, which led to my new dog-sitting company! I also sit through Rover!! I am available full-time ☺️ I prefer to care for your pet in the home that they are used to! That being said, I can stay at your home overnight, just during the day, or come over intermittently for walks!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats around me for most of my life, from growing-up on a farm in Maryland to working large animal husbandry at the Virginia Tech Veterinary School to sharing a 1-bedroom studio with two cats in Roanoke City, and I’ve always loved all animals. All! Right now, I have one dog and three cats of my own, and they are very much part of my family. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities and needs. I enjoy walks, playtime, and just hanging out with them and giving them attention. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets when you’re away, and I’ll care for yours just like I care for my own. I’m currently in the process of my Pet-CPR/First Aid certification. I’m working a flexible schedule (as a Referee). When I’m at work, Nalini (my wife), will be there at home with your pet. So, your pet would never be there alone day or night. The most respect, care, compassion, and hugs!! There’s separate pet living spaces in my house for accommodating your pets needs, and we have a friendly and vaccinated dog.

About: I have grown up surrounded by dogs and now I have one of my own! I am always happy to help my neighbors whenever they need it and treat their babies like they are one of my own and can’t wait to do the same for others. Having a pup of my own, pet care is a normal part of my routine. I am currently working part time and have time to check on your fur babies during the week. I travel here and there for work but most of the time it’s Friday-Sunday that I travel. I will greet your pets and happily take them outside and play with them, if they are interested. I am use to high energy dogs, because I have one of my own. I will make sure they get some water and potty once more before I leave.

About: I have experience with multiple cats and dogs alike. I have two dogs of my own and two kitties and I understand what its like to have fur babies and how close they become to you. I work during the weekdays but have open availability all weekend long and in the evenings, I can drop by early mornings and in the evenings if needed during the week. I have worked with training my Aussie and our rescue dog for many years, I have potty training tips and tricks and can even help your babies grow smarter.

About: I love all animals! I have been pet-sitting since I was in elementary school. I currently have two tuxedo cats, one of which has to be given medicine twice a day, so I am comfortable with medication administration. I recently graduated from Physician Associate School and I am waiting for the credentialing process to be completed before starting my job! So i have plenty of time to take care of your animals! I care for every pet as if they were my own while also respecting each client’s home, routines, and instructions. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive any approved medications, get appropriate exercise and potty breaks, and have plenty of attention and companionship. I also keep their environment clean by tidying food areas, cleaning up accidents, and maintaining litter boxes or other pet spaces as needed.
