“Meghan was great with our old man Savannah cat Cappy. He has the energy of a much younger cat and requires real play time, and needs regular meds for his thyroid. Meghan was great and he responded to her right away.”

“We give two paws up (each!) for Jen! Gracie appreciates the respectful attention to her royal routine, and Louie feels safe, seen, and even a little braver while we are in her care. Jen gives us space when we need it and love when we ask — exactly how a cat likes it! Mom likes that she always comes home to find us calm, happy, and very well cared for. Highly recommend for any feline household with quirks, royalty, or shy sweethearts like us. – Queen Gracie & Louie the Brave 🐾”

“Collette kept us informed on the well-being of our cats for our whole trip, which made it so much easier to enjoy ourselves. She was able to coax our shy and introverted kitty out of hiding while we were gone, and took very good care of both.”

“Brian was fantastic! He stopped by each day to feed and play with our cat Piper and kept us updated with pictures and comments on how she was doing. It’s clear he genuinely loves and cares about pets and is highly recommended for any pet-sitting needs!”

“This was the 2nd time we have used Casey & Hung for drop in visits for our 2 cats for the weekend. I plan to continue having them help with the kitties while were away; they brought in our packages, cleaned up after a mess our cat made and left some treats & catnip for them! Thank you guys!!”

About: I am a very active person. I love any excuse to run or walk outside, having an animal with me is a huge bonus. My roommate is allergic to dogs, so for now this will be the way to fill the void of not having a pet of my own. Therefore, I promise I will love your pet as if they were mine. Among some turtles and a frog or two, I grew up with three golden retrievers, and I was always the go-to person to watch any of my friend's/coworker's dogs and cats if they were away, ranging from just a couple days to two to three weeks at a time. I am very hardworking, trustworthy, kind, and I absolutely love any and all animals. I went from working in an office to now being remote, so I feel like I have ample time everyday and am always looking for a reason to get outside. My apartment building has a space outside for dogs to mingle and play. Otherwise, there is a park close by me that we can walk to.

“Cristina was absolutely wonderful with my dog during her visits! She truly went out of her way to take care of him, making sure he felt comfortable, loved, and entertained the entire time. She played with him, gave him lots of attention, and treated him like her own. I could tell he had an amazing time. It honestly felt like he was on vacation while I was away! I’ll definitely be reaching out to Cristina again for future visits. Highly recommend!”

About: My family and I had a dog named Honey who we loved dearly, but sadly lost in a house fire around two years ago. I love dogs, and I really miss having one around. I thought Rover would be a great way to care for dogs and make some money on the side! I have experience as an emotional support assistant for students with mental disabilities, a role that demands great patience and understanding. I study Mechanical Engineering Asynchronously, and I work as a barista part-time. When I’m not working I’m usually studying, so I thought why not pack up my work and petsit while I study! My academic and professional lives require great attention to detail, so any sets of specific rules/schedules for any pet(s) under my care will be followed diligently!

About: I’m a retired nurse who now wants to turn my nurturing skills to animals! I have had dogs and cats for many years (currently one dog) and have cared for others’ pets as well. I have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs. My dog Rocky and I are excited at the thought of having your pet in our home! We promise to taking loving care of your fur baby. I am usually home other than watching my grandchildren several hours a week. This is a flexible arrangement which allows me to frequently check in at home. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog to keep our guests company. I can accommodate pad trained dogs as well as outdoor trained.

About: I am very patient with animals getting to know me and understand that not all cats will come out. I have practice with older cats and kittens. I used to have a dog of my own, and play with all of my friends dogs! I am usually availble early weekday mornings before work, and weekday nights after work. I am also available most weekends as long as I know in advance. I want to make sure the pets are comfortable and cared for when their humans aren't around. Fill food and water, scooping litter, playing (if they care for that), sitting around and patiently wait for them to approach me, basically make sure that the pets get what they need!

About: I’ve grown up with cats, but I’ve taken care of multiple dogs of various sizes and ages for years. I’m good at wearing them out on long walks or just playing, and I don’t mind giving them bath if needed or any other medical or cleaning care. I currently work pretty consistently, but I typically start around 8:30am and I get out earlier in the day rather than evenings so I could watch your pet after 4pm or so. I also mainly have the end of Saturday and Sunday-Monday off as well so those are times where I’m completely free. I will constantly spend time with time with them, buy either playing with their toys, or taking them on nice long walks or runs. I’m alright with crating them if need be, and I don’t mind if you have a large dog. They’re just more fun to play with.

“Jen is the BEST! She is thorough, detailed and cares 1000% about making sure your pet is being taken care of properly! I feel so comfortable knowing she’s giving my cat some serious TLC when I’m gone. Thank you Jen!!”

“Kristin was absolutely amazing with my three cats! From the moment we connected, she was communicative, kind, and clearly experienced with animals. Each visit was thoroughly documented with photos, updates, and thoughtful notes that really gave me peace of mind while I was away. My cats can be a bit particular, but Kristin handled their different personalities like a pro—giving each one the attention and care they needed. I came home to three happy, relaxed kitties and a spotless home. If you're looking for someone reliable, loving, and attentive to care for your pets, I can't recommend Kristin enough. She's truly a gem!”

“Esther did a great job checking in and taking care of my two kitties while we were on vacation for a week. Would definitely recommend and hope to use her in the future. Thank you so much Esther!”

Elmhurst cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kristin went above and beyond taking care of my cats medications while I was traveling. My parents were there as well but cannot manage the medications. They enjoyed Kristin’s company very much and couldn’t say enough nice things about her. She even contacted my vet with questions, which I really appreciated. Kristin stopped over to meet and discuss details before the trip which gave me a lot of peace of mind. She has a great way about her. I highly recommend Kristin.
