About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, hermit crabs, various aquarium fish, and plants to the best of the owner’s instructions and rules. For over 10 years, I simply enjoy being around intelligent loving creatures as I hope they liked me. I am looking to fill up my available time with more companions who are looking to get tons of belly rubs and head scratches (if they prefer of course). I am actively constantly taking care of my roommate’s dog as she is frequently traveling for work and personal reasons. I usually have him 2-3 weeks of a month, about half the year. If not, I drop in and feed/walk/scoop out my neighbor’s pet(s).

About: I've owned dogs since I was 12 years old, from puppies to a 16 year old which needed extra care. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and have a large fenced in yard. I'm able to walk dogs as requested and needed with no issues. I've watched friends and families' dogs when asked to. When you leave your dog(s) with me, they become a part of our family. I'm home each and every day. I have a dog of my own, a husky mix that is dog and people friendly. As long as I'm not away I'm available to care for your dog as if it was my own. I have a large fenced in yard and one dog, a husky mix, who is dog friendly and loves to play. She is crate trained herself but spends more time out of her crate than in it. My neighborhood also has plenty of sidewalks to walk dogs and as long as weather permits I go on at least one long walk per day with my dog.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 15 years, when I got a puppy for my kids. A few years later we adopted another dog as a companion. Our dogs are part of our family. I have experience from puppy through senior pup, which includes giving medications. I’ve also worked as a Veterinary Technician and volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter. Both were rewarding experiences which provided me additional practice with sick pet care and leash walking. I am available most days and evenings. I’m available to travel to make home visits, and can walk your pet in your neighborhood or take them to a local dog park or other type of recreation area. We have a gated deck and fenced in area for our dogs. We have one small senior dog who gets along well with both dogs and cats.

About: I've taken care of dogs for family, friends, and neighbors since I was about 9 years old. I have been responsible for feeding, bathing, walking their pets & administering medication when necessary. I have experience training dogs at various ages & a wide range of breeds. I have training experience including but not limited to, crate training, potty training, leash training, etc. I have taken care of dogs as small as Shih Tzus to as large as Rottweilers, so I am comfortable around dogs of various sizes. I was the primary care taker for our family's' 2 senior dogs; being sure to give them around the clock access to the bathroom as well as being punctual with any and all medications. My pet care experience is not limited to dogs alone I have cared for cats for friends & family for 4 years. Feeding, playing, changing/cleaning litter & administering medication when needed. I adore all animals and ensuring your pet is loved, safe, and cared for is my top priority. I work 8am-5pm in Elkridge, MD. I have plenty of evening and early morning availability. Depending on location, I am available during lunch breaks for any midday walks/feedings. I want to ensure the pets comfort is the priority. Keeping their routine and providing a loving space while their family is away. Both cats and dogs of any age need ample amount of exercise & affection; even the most independent of animals!

About: Every dog deserves care that feels like home... whether it’s a walk around the block, a weekend sleepover, or a friendly pickup for some mid day tail-wagging fun! I tailor every visit to your pup’s pace, personality, and preferences, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved the entire time. I’m currently co-parenting three fur babies of my own, so I understand the trust it takes to put your dog in someone else’s hands. That’s why I treat every pup like family. Walks with me are never rushed. Rain or shine, we go at your dog’s speed and style, from slow strolls to energetic trots. And when I’m dog sitting, I keep things calm, consistent, and full of affection (and treats if allowed!). Because your dog deserves the best and I love being the person who gets to give it to them. 🫶🏾🐾 I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I’m able to adjust to your dog’s needs and schedule. I always treat a client’s home with respect and follow any specific instructions provided... whether that’s how to access the home, where to find the leash, or how to lock up after. I take my time getting your pup leashed up calmly and safely, making sure they’re comfortable before heading out. After each walk, I make sure they have water, are settled in, and that you receive a detailed update with photos. I aim to create a smooth, stress-free experience for both you and your dog every time.

“I could not be happier with Sam and the excellent care he provided for my dog, Walter! I needed to be out of town for the better part of a week, and having just moved to town, did not have any friends or family to watch after my large canine; Sam to the rescue! I had never used this service or this site before, so initially was a tad skeptical. After Sam's quick response, and then after meeting him in person, I knew Walter would be in good hands. I initially approached him requesting two walks per day, but due to his reasonable pricing, I suggested that I would be interested in adding a third walk every day. Even though I'm sure it was a bit out of the way, he accepted the extra work with alacrity. On top of all this, when I needed to put Walter on antibiotics last-minute, Sam was more than happy to administer the medicine. It was clear from the "Rover Cards" that Walter was getting great walks, and truly first-rate overall care. I would absolutely use Sam's service again, and would recommend him to anyone needing hassle-free, reliable care. I hope he is available if and when I need him again. Thanks Sam!”

“Bene has done a great job watching my little pup whenever I’m out of town, sometimes for a weekend, sometimes for a week. She’s learned how he plays and recognizes when he just wants to rest and snuggle. My dog is also reactive so she’s learned to adapt with avoiding his interactions with other dogs while walking him. She is very loving toward my lil pup.”

Jeremy S.Star Sitter
“Jeremy loves dogs. Plain and simple. When Jeremy and I started dating, one of the first stories he shared with me was about the dog he had growing up. He had so much love for Sweeper that he wrote an essay about him for his high school English class that he proudly saved as a memento. When we bought our house, the first thing he wanted was a dog. We loved Sugar for 16 sweet years, until she passed in 2024. We got Iris, our second dog, in 2020, and Jeremy is definitely her favorite human. They love taking walks and playing together. When it comes to taking care of dogs, Jeremy strikes the right balance between discipline and fun.”

Sarah G.
“I recently had the pleasure of observing Sarah care for two dogs over a three-month period, and I can't recommend her highly enough for your pet sitting needs. Sarah demonstrated exceptional professionalism throughout the entire sitting period. She was incredibly responsive to the owners' messages and updates, sending detailed notes about the dogs' activities and health. She was very reliable - she never missed a feeding time or medication administration, even when balancing her own busy schedule as a nursing student. Speaking of medication, Sarah expertly handled the care of the dogs’ health issues, one having anxiety and the other having diabetes. She administered insulin injections with confidence and precision, carefully monitored blood sugar levels, and adjusted care routines when needed. She was also patient with the anxious pup, working to create a calm environment through consistent routines and gentle reassurance. Beyond the technical aspects of care, Sarah truly bonded with these dogs. She took them on varied walks, played their favorite games, and made sure they felt loved during their owners' extended absence. If you're looking for a pet sitter who combines true professionalism with genuine love for animals, Sarah is your person. Your furry family members will be in excellent hands.”
