About: Hi, my name is Marissa. I’m from Northern California. My schedule doesn’t allow me to fully take care of a pet, so I decided it’s time to take care of others’ pets. I’ve grown up with Labrador Retrievers. I’ve mostly been trusted to take care of medium to larger sized dogs, as I’ve experienced them more. This is the first time in my life where I’m not taking care of a pet. It’s very different. I constantly ask my parents to send me pics of our dogs. I miss them! Their names are Callie (7 yrs) and Winston (4 yrs). I have been in and out of the RFV for 3 years. I love every season to which this area has to offer. I enjoy skiing, hiking, and reading. I just miss having dogs in my life! I am more available on the weekends than during the week! I think it’s very important to be around animals! I am unable to care for a pet in my own home, but I am available to commute to a client’s home. I am also willing to find nearby parks and/or designated walking areas if need be.
About: With over 40 years of experience caring for cats and dogs, I provide compassionate and attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. Whether your dog loves leisurely walks or energetic hikes, I’m happy to accommodate their activity level. I also specialize in caring for senior pets, ensuring they receive the gentle attention and support they deserve. As a trusted member of the community for over 20 years, I’m committed to providing a safe, loving, and reliable experience for both pets and their owners. I’m currently working part time and have flexibility in my schedule for walks and home visits as well as over night stays. I’m available week days and weekends. In the comfort and familiarity of your own home, your pet and I will enjoy leisurely conversations, ear scratches, and plenty of play or cuddle time.

“Rose was great! Communicative and helpful for midday walks. Understanding and compassionate to our girls. We’d have Rose back again as Kennedy, who can be very sensitive around new people, and Harvest both approved.”

About: Nick and I keep and active lifestyle. We are always out with our dog, Moby, on trails with our bikes or on foot. Your dog will get to play with Moby, just turn a year and can play all day and can become apart of our adventures on the trail. We have a flexible work schedule, leaving one of us at home almost at all times. Nick has a really great calming and commanding voice that dogs seem to respond well to. I am the playful one that becomes the best friend until I have to command correction. Moby is Nick's second dog and my first. Moby has been the most stubborn dog to train, however we have worked to remain patient during training and we have learned how to work with Moby better each day.
About: I am an active, responsible dog lovin’ gal. I have experience with over night care with multiple dogs as well as day time walks, feeding, and going on safe on and off leash pup-friendly adventures. I foster dogs throughout the year and have experience with all ages. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I can adjust my schedule as needed based on the hours or care you need for your dog. I am a responsible care provider and have house sat and dog sat for the last 10+ years. I am happy to adjust to your needs in our home or yours!
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of multiple different breeds over the years. I love getting to meet them and seeing their little personalities 🥰 I have a sweet 9yo husky girl who is my best buddy and loves to go on walks and kayaking with me. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, kids and pretty much anyone. I work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible during the day. I usually let my pup out around 8 am then feed her and let her out again around lunch. After 5pm I try to take her on a hike or dog park a couple times a week. On weekends I’m usually free but we try to go on longer hikes or just explore somewhere new since we just moved to this area. In clients home I’m happy to hang out with the pets, take them out, feed them, play with them, etc. I’m not currently taking care of pets in my home because of my apartment’s restrictions.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with dogs and years of caring for a variety of breeds since moving to the valley. I’m skilled at handling multiple dogs at once, including those with different temperaments, ensuring each one receives the care and attention they need. I have a very flexible schedule and I am able to travel to provide my services. With some notice I can be available for anything you need! I have one gray tabby cat who is a little timid with dogs at first but warms up quickly and has made friends with several dogs in the past. We are able to separate her in another room if needed. She is not great with other cats but as stated before we can separate if and when needed to ensure comfort and safety for everyone involved! I professionally care for your home property and pets, handling tasks like plant care, mail collection, bird feeders, snow clearing, feeding and medications if necessary, As well as any other duties during your absence. With experience overseeing properties for extended periods, I ensure all needs are met with direct and frequent communication, so you can have peace of mind knowing your home and your pets are in trusted hands!
“Lu is the absolute BEST! He is always there when we need him in a crunch and Roo seems so happy when she’s under his wing. He sends the cutest photos and it looks like they’re having a blast. Highly recommend Lu for any of your pups needs!”

About: I've been caring for all types of animals (birds, cats, dogs, chickens, pigs, horses) since I was 4 years old. At 16 I worked at a kennel in my hometown for two years which equipped me with the skills to understand and cater to the needs of various breeds and personalities of both dogs and cats. Throughout the years, I have provided house sitting services for pets of all types (even a couple reptiles & bunnies). Always ensuring that they feel secure and loved in their own home while their owners are away. Whether it’s engaging dogs in active play, walks and snuggles or providing cats with affection and companionship, I adapt to each pet’s needs, ensuring they receive the best care while you are away. I'm passionate about making each pet’s experience as comfortable and joyful as possible, treating every animal with the same love and attention I have shown my own over the years. My daily and weekly routine is built around flexibility, which allows me to prioritize pet care without any other fixed commitments. This adaptability means I can easily integrate visits, walks, and sitting schedules that align with your pet's needs and your preferences. Whether it’s an early morning walk, a midday check-in, or an overnight stay, I can accommodate your pet's routine and ensure they receive care and attention when they need it most. My goal is to make pet care seamless and stress-free for both you and your pet. When caring for pets, I prioritize safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment within your own home, as I do not host pets in mine. Here’s how I ensure a safe and nurturing environment for your pets... I always make sure your home is secure, checking that all exits are properly closed and that your pet remains safely inside or within your yard during outdoor activities. I familiarize myself with your pet's unique needs and any safety precautions specific to them. Keeping to your pet's usual schedule is crucial for their comfort and well-being. I adhere closely to their regular feeding, walking, and playtime routines to maintain a sense of normalcy. I respect your space and ensure that it remains clean and tidy. I clean up after your pets and make sure that their living area is sanitary and comfortable. Trust is key. I provide regular updates and photos, so you feel connected and reassured that your pet is happy and healthy under my care. I am prepared for emergencies and am knowledgeable about local vet services in case your pet needs professional attention during my watch.
“I booked Liza to walk my dog and had a fantastic experience. She arranged a meet and greet the day before and was very friendly to my dog. On the scheduled day, she arrived on time and took her on a quite lengthy walk within 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Megan has been prompt, professional and reliable. Great communication. Megan just started walking my dog this week, but she and "Nellie" are already great buddy's. It is reassuring to me that my dog is being exercised and cared on days when I do not have the time. We are looking forward to using Megan lots in the future.”

“Such wonderful & caring sitters! Destiny and her partner, Cal, watched our old Golden and gave her so much love and attention. They sent us great pics and updates while we were gone. On the last day of our trip a wildfire broke out up near our house. They saw an alert about it on their phone and didn't hesitate to go grab her and take her home with them when they couldn't get ahold of us. I'm so thankful for their dedication.”

About: I am currently living in Carbondale, CO living for the outdoor adventures! I love getting to bring Leo on outdoor adventures with me and would treat your fur baby like my own with lots of love and fun adventures. I decided to get into dog sitting because I’m looking for some side work and what better way to spend my time then with more sweet furry friends! In my personal experience, I have had a wide range of different kinds of pets, such as chickens, lizards, hamsters, cats, and dogs. In my professional life with animal handling, I had the most incredible experience in the past in Colorado to be a part-time dog handler for sled dogs. I have also done a good amount of dog sitting for friends in the past. I can't wait to help out and make some new furry friends and maybe go on an outdoor adventure too! I do work full time but have flexibility in my daily schedule and have weekends open. Just as I treat my dog, I always prioritize a good healthy route and would do the same for your pet. I have a regular route with my dog and would treat and care for anyone else’s pets the same! I understand the importance of a safe and loving experience for your pets as I look for the same for my dog when I’m away. I have a lot of country land I live at with a grassy backyard.
“Karissa was so awesome to jump in and help walk my doggo while I was away on business. Having her pitch in really helped my husband who was home but has his own busy schedule, and put my mind at ease that Gunner would get double the attention and love and walks while I was away. Thank you Karissa!”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. One day I dream of opening my own dog daycare. Family, friends have always gone to me for dog sitting, walking and I find great joy in spending my day with dogs. I just moved to Colorado and not sure what I want to do with my career. So I am available during typical work hours, not afraid of early morning. Pet care does not feel like work to me so I will always make time I have an extremely sweet, loving German Shepherd if your dog wants a buddy to hang with. I also am a long distance runner who will take your dog any distance you want. For drop ins I will spend quality time and give quality attention to your dog. If you go with me I promise your dog will thank you
