He really cares about making sure your dog will be happy in his care and for that reason he met with me and my sweet Ruby multiple times prior to booking to ensure it would be a good fit. Ruby can be a little anxious when our family is not around. Lu saw that and took extra special care of her. He even let her sleep with him despite her snoring :) Lu cared for Ruby for one week and shared photos and sweet stories everyday. I felt totally comfortable and relieved knowing that Ruby was getting longs walks and trips to the park each day. I will definitely ask Lu to take care of Ruby again.”

About: From a young age I connected with dogs and have loved the special bond and relationship that comes with having them as a pet and companion. I currently own a husky so I am used to dogs of all sizes (and strengths) ! I enjoy any opportunity to give my furry friends extra TLC and lots of exercise outside from long walks to hikes on the beautiful trails nearby! I live in Old Town Basalt and can easily travel from Aspen to Carbondale! I'm currently work for myself so I have a lot of freedom and flexibilty to work your schedule into mine! All I ask is for a days notice to schedule and usually we can make it work! I have a fenced yard and a 4 1/2 year old male husky who is very social and loves a buddy to play with! He gets regular walks/hikes and can be walked with or without your dog based on your preference.

I also don't give in to the cute puppy eyes when I'm eating my food and keep them to their parents' approved food and treats.

I’ve been a life long dog owner and currently have a beautiful McNab called Munro I study from home so I’m super flexible and very present with dog care. About: I give genuine care, patience and attention to every pet as if they were my own. I’ve had a family pet all my life and now my own. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, loved, and understood. Caring for Garwin has been such joy and has taught me the importance of patience, consistency and paying attention to the details that makes each dog unique. From feeding and potty routine to making sure he feels comfortable and happy, I know how important it is for pet parents to have someone you can truly trust. I would give fur parents peace of mind knowing their furry family is receiving the same love, attention and care they would get at home. I work morning shifts 5 days a week and mostly available in the afternoon. On my days off I am usualy be able to do any time of the day. During visits I focus on making sure your pet feels comfortable, safe and cared while you are away. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, refreshing water, potty breaks, medication or special instructions and proving plenty of attention and affection.
About: I have been around dogs my whole life! I absolutely love walking, playing and giving dogs all the love and care they deserve. From taking care of my own dog to helping friends and family out with theirs, I am here to help when you need it! About: Ever since I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by animals. Growing up with three large dogs and two cats gave me a strong foundation in animal care and a lifelong love for pets. Over the years, I have volunteered more than 130 hours with animal shelters and rescue organizations, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of tasks including walking, bathing, administering medications, transporting animals to and from veterinary appointments, and fostering dogs in need in my home. I’m also a full-time dog mom and currently work part-time from home, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and provide attentive care. I love spending time outdoors, whether that’s long neighborhood walks, hiking local trails, or simply enjoying fresh air with a happy pup by my side. First thing in the morning I let my pups outback into the fenced in yard. I then feed them breakfast around 7:30am. We love to go to the park or for walks, we do this every day. Some days we will head up to a lake or reservoir for some swimming. We have dinner in the evening and potentially another walk. When caring for a pet in your home, I like to do a meet and greet with the dog first if that is a possibility. When being in your home I can provide the dog with treats and a slow introduction to gain their trust. Once this has been completed, then I will go about their daily routine per your request.

In my professional life with animal handling, I had the most incredible experience in the past in Colorado to be a part-time dog handler for sled dogs. I have also done a good amount of dog sitting for friends in the past. I can't wait to help out and make some new furry friends and maybe go on an outdoor adventure too! About: My dog Yuki and I have lived internationally in 3 different countries. We have now called the RFV our home since 2020. I work in Aspen and bring my little floof in to work with me, it is a very dog friendly workplace. While living in Dubai I began watching friends and colleagues dogs while they were away; everything from a little 6 pound shitzu puppy to an 86 pound special needs lab. I hated boarding kennels for my own dog and wanted him to be in an environment as close to home as possible to ease the stress of being away from family. All dogs I meet get the same love and attention I give my boy Yuki, which is quite a bit! I am a certified teacher and Yuki is a service dog who assists in classrooms and in child development. I developed an educational framework for assistance dogs in the school I was a founding member of. In Dubai he helped to build responsibility and empathy in my classroom as well as helped to develop confidence in reading skills to children within the school. If you ever need advice on taking your beloved pet abroad, please ask and I am more than happy to give advice on the processes. I work at the Red Brick in Aspen and can pop out to go for walks with your pup during my work day, Yuki my pup comes into the office and hangs out with other office doggos during the day and we are happy to host additional pups. I am in Aspen 9-5 weekdays. I live in Woody Creek just off the Rio Grand trail, perfect place for long hikes. I am very careful with my own dog, nothing that could potentially hurt them is allowed in the house (no grapes, etc.) Fenced in yard so no escaping through an open door. And, all pups are allowed on the bed (I also have doggie stairs up to keep any little pups hips happy).

There is a fenced in dog park a short walk from my apartment to let dogs run off leash if approved by owner. I don’t have any pets in my home so if I am to sit at my residence the pet would be in a secure and private environment. I keep a clean and safe household for all types of pets. I also am respectful and receptive to all household and pet needs on an individual basis.
