About: Hi my name is Anthony, and I’ve been in the Vail Valley for 10 years. I’ve always enjoyed taking care of my family’s dogs and cats growing up. I have a 12 year old Bichon that has been with me since college! I have taken care of numerous friends dogs in Vail over the years. I am a contractor and make my own schedule so I am readily available! I am able to give your animals any medicine they require. I’m always flexible to change my schedule to help with your needs! I am very respectful of the customers home, and try to make the dog feel confortable without their owner present. I am not taking in house customers at the moment.

“Melissa has been such a huge help with Hatchet! He's so much happier having his daily walk with her when I'm working. She's considerate and responsive for schedule changing and that's a huge plus!”

About: We're all part of the same community - and I want you to know a neighbor who cares is hanging with your furry family! I price for locals because for me - this is as much about doing a solid for my neighbors and friends as anything else. I've taken care of pets of all ages and breeds, can improve walking skills while you're gone (on or off leash), and am experienced with aggressive and special needs pets. I truly enjoy providing this service to my neighbors throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, helping them know they're furry family is cared for and comfortable at home while they are away. I am also very flexible - does your dog need to run every day? Do I need to follow a very specific feeding or medicine delivery schedule? Are there certain que words I need to use? I am here to care for your pet, your way, at prices we can all afford. I work 7-hour day shifts 4 to 5 days a week, 7am-3pm, through October and do not plan on leaving this offseason so I am available to sit in your home or mine *for certain pets* 7-days a week through December 1, 2021, and will have to adjust my schedule for the winter season. If up valley, I can do midday checkins and walks on work days. In my client's home I am able to follow your daily routine exactly as you leave it instructed to me, keeping your pets as calm and comfortable as possible, given their main man (or gal) had to head out. I gladly sleep in guest quarters or on comfy-enough couches, but prefer not to stay in homes where roommates or family are also staying while you are away. I live on an old ranch above Glenwood Springs near the CMC Spring Valley campus, with Lucy, my 11 year old, loving to all 2 and 4-legged friends, and Sophie, my mom's Frenchie fart who loves to play but can be kept separate if needed. We have miles of lightly-used trails throughout our neighborhood--perfect for long walks and ball-chasing adventures, but above the valley walls so not too steep or hilly for the older puppies who still love to wander and snoof. I am happy to bring certain pets into my home pending in-person meet and greet, and approval.

“Elise helped us out today when our regular walker canceled at the last moment and she did an excellent job with my senior dog Mandy. Thank you Elise!”

“Karissa was so awesome to jump in and help walk my doggo while I was away on business. Having her pitch in really helped my husband who was home but has his own busy schedule, and put my mind at ease that Gunner would get double the attention and love and walks while I was away. Thank you Karissa!”
