About: Hello fellow animal lovers! ****out of town July 1st-July 16th*** My name is Melissa and I have a history of taking care of dogs, cats, horses and other animals. I’ve voluneered at dog shelters muiltple times. I grew up with dogs and rabbits. I have a dog named Ulysses. He is a German shorthair pointer. Your animal will have my full attention and affection. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Hope I can help ! I work at a restaurant in Aspen 3-4 days a week. Usually only a 6-hour shift. Tuesday’s, Wednesdays, and Thursday nights are my fixed schedule but may change. My boyfriend Scott works during the day so he's at home at night while I'm at work. So, there will always be me or Scott at home with your dog and ours. I live in a 2br 2bath apartment with a small patio. The dog parks close by as well as lots of places to walk around town. I take my own dog Ulysses to Crown mtn park, Basalt mtn, or up by Sopris at least once a day. The Rio Grande trail is right by my place as well.

13. Allison C.
“Allie is a true dog lover! You can see that clearly in how much she loves her own pup, and how she dotes on mine! She’ll love your dog like her own, and make sure they get what they need whether that’s a lot of outdoor time, snuggles on the couch, or both!”

15. Yazmin A.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of multiple different breeds over the years. I love getting to meet them and seeing their little personalities 🥰 I have a sweet 9yo husky girl who is my best buddy and loves to go on walks and kayaking with me. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, kids and pretty much anyone. I work from home and my schedule is pretty flexible during the day. I usually let my pup out around 8 am then feed her and let her out again around lunch. After 5pm I try to take her on a hike or dog park a couple times a week. On weekends I’m usually free but we try to go on longer hikes or just explore somewhere new since we just moved to this area. In clients home I’m happy to hang out with the pets, take them out, feed them, play with them, etc. I’m not currently taking care of pets in my home because of my apartment’s restrictions.

16. Natalie M.
“Could not recommend Natalie more! She loves animals, and it shows in the care and attention she gives my dog when she comes over. She also had a bunny from a young age that she took responsibility for for over 10 years. Natalie is personable, communicative, and reliable. Your pet will be happy and safe in her hands!”

17. Karen J.

“Karen is simply the best at caring for my dog. I trust her completely and my dog Lilly (who is older and a bit anxious) just walks right into their home wagging her tail every time! She has a nice yard and they go on walks in the park next door. Karen is organized and responsible. Lilly loves being there!”

18. Lisa P.
About: I have always been surrounded by dogs and can’t imagine a life with out them. I have trained dogs and more importantly their owners professionally. I have a Jack Russell mix that gets along with all dogs and loves to play. I work from home and we go out for frequent breaks and one longer adventure at the end of the day for a couple of hours. We could consider a bonded pair of small dogs if the circcumstances were right for all. We go out for a 30 m loop in Willits in the am and then have several breaks throughout the day. When the weather is nice I will take my hotspot and laptop to the park. After work we head to Crown Mountain to do the river loop and then come back up to the pond for “Yappy Hour” to play with the other dogs and swim. I live in a condo that has lots of spaces for the pups to hang out in the sun, on the bed, sofa and dog beds on the floor and a duchess brisée that’s pup has claimed. We are surrounded by parks and paths.

19. Katie A.

“Katie was so friendly and accommodating during our last minute request! She was so sweet and I immediately trusted her with my Pomeranian. I would absolutely use her again and recommend her highly!”

20. Olivia L.
“Olivia has had dogs of her own her entire life and they have all adored her. She is the “go to” for her entire family and friends when they need someone that they know will treat their pets like their own! She is the most caring, engaged dog lover I have ever met. Taking care of dogs and animals in general is something she absolutely loves. She will be fantastic for the Rover pet parents and especially their dog family members.”
