About: I grew up on a farm in the uk with cats and dogs and all of the animals. I’ve been a life long dog owner and currently have a beautiful McNab called Munro I study from home so I’m super flexible and very present with dog care. I prefer to be able to do a meet and greet prior to make sure we all connect . I prefer clients to have a fenced yard but if not then long leashed walks are also fun! Off leash is good too in the dog parks if your furry friend is good at recall.

About: I have experience caring for a senior Labrador retriever who requires daily exercise, consistent routines, and lots of attention. Maintaining his comfort and wellbeing has taught me a lot about patience, observation, and the importance of reliable care! I’ve also house‑sat for other people’s dogs and received positive feedback for being dependable and communicative. I have administered oral medications as well as injections for cats and dogs. Let me care for your furry friend for a night, walk, or even just a drop by visit! I am moving to Aspen, Colorado for the summer! I work ~8AM-6PM most days. I am mostly open for evening walks and house stays(if communicated in advance). Please reach out if you have any questions! I would love to care for your pet in any preferred yard, neighborhood, or open space! I can provide walks/playtime from 15 minutes up to a few hours.

Mariah is absolutely great with Rory. She is always punctual and sends lots of pictures. Even cleaned up when Rory had an accident on our couch and I wasn’t going to be able to get home to clean it. Couldn’t recommend more!

About: I have experience in puppy obedience training and leash training, oral medication administration, experience handling dogs of all ages and sizes, especially with caring for stubborn dogs. Also I am very familiar with taking care of pups with anxiety or different fears. I am a full time student at Boston University, but have long breaks throughout my day where I could care for nearby pets in need of attention or walks, meaning lunchtime check ins or walks work particularly well with my schedule. I am happy to follow any preferences you have for pet care, including crating your dog (I have extensive experience crate training an unruly giant schnauzer puppy), leash preferences, and feeding schedules. I typically bring water bowls and extra water for my dogs on walks to keep them feeling their best and treats to keep them engaged (treat type depending on what your dog typically eats).

About: We have had dogs our entire life, we love them. We recently lost our German Shepherd of 14 years and are looking to get some fur baby energy in our lives. We know how hard it can be to find reliable people you can trust to watch your baby. We have boarded numerous dogs in our home in the past and are looking to give your animals love and attention while you are away. We are experienced with all types of dogs. Big, small, young and old. Our house does not have any stairs which is great for older pups! We also live right across the street from many great trails. Dogs rule the house at our house. We often find ourselves sitting on the floor while the dogs are on the couch. We always joked our German Shepherd was more spoiled than our children. The only downside is your dog may not want to come home! I work from home and my husband owns his own business. We have two little kids (10 & 5) that are also great with animals. We have lots of flexibility. I hike, walk or exercise everyday. We have a small, fenced yard and a dog door, which can also be locked if needed. We live around the corner from a park and across the street from numerous trails. Animals can roam free or be crated in while at our house.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals of all kinds since I was a kid. Professionally, I started working at doggy daycares when I was in high school and went on to pet sitting, walking, as well as animal husbandry and working with horses. I work in childcare and have a playful caring nature. I am currently available any time. I have recently moved to the area and schedule is wide open. Let’s chat and we can work something out that meets your scheduling needs. I would care for your pets as I would my own. I am incredibly respectful of other people’s space and abide by their rules. I am trustworthy and have many references.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Snowmass Village. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
