About: I’ve had pets my entire life and am a devoted dog mom to Pepper. I also have a young child at Basalt Elementary School. Our previous dog was a pug & beagle mix named Hercules who lived to 18. I love animals and would love to check in on your pets or walk your doggies 🖤 I’m currently a stay at home mom and my daughter is in daycare four days per week. I’m available to drop in (check on, feed, & play) with your pets or walk your doggies every day except for Wednesdays. I’m available in downtown Basalt, Willits, and the surrounding area We have a 3 year old rescue named Pepper who we’ve had since July 2025. She spends her days with me at home, running errands, etc. or with my husband at his office. She loves kids, other dogs, and doing zoomies at Arbaney Park. I would be happy to play with your dog in your backyard or take them on walks. Also happy to drop in for feedings or to check in on your fur babies
“Mariah recently came and walked my dog while we were out for a long day with family in town. I will definitely be having her come back! She communicated quickly, took great photos, and my dog loved her!”

“Jasper has been a huge help walking our dog, Birdie. She can be very nervous and somewhat reactive around new people, but he has been incredibly patient and accommodating with her. He’s given her the time and space she needs to slowly warm up, which we really appreciate. Jasper is always timely, responsible, professional, and very communicative. You can truly tell he loves animals, and Birdie is in great hands with him!”

“Such wonderful & caring sitters! Destiny and her partner, Cal, watched our old Golden and gave her so much love and attention. They sent us great pics and updates while we were gone. On the last day of our trip a wildfire broke out up near our house. They saw an alert about it on their phone and didn't hesitate to go grab her and take her home with them when they couldn't get ahold of us. I'm so thankful for their dedication.”

“Melissa has been such a huge help with Hatchet! He's so much happier having his daily walk with her when I'm working. She's considerate and responsive for schedule changing and that's a huge plus!”

“Megan has been prompt, professional and reliable. Great communication. Megan just started walking my dog this week, but she and "Nellie" are already great buddy's. It is reassuring to me that my dog is being exercised and cared on days when I do not have the time. We are looking forward to using Megan lots in the future.”

About: Hi, I’m Sara! I’m a veterinary assistant with years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds—dogs, birds, fish, guinea pigs and more! I’ve lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for 3 years and will be attending Colorado Mountain College this fall to become a vet tech. I have experience with pet sitting and dog walking, and I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, including seniors (I have one of my own!). I’m insured and committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate care for your pets like they’re my own. Pet care fits into my routine primarily on Fridays through Sundays, which I keep open for dog walking and pet sitting. I structure those days around the pets’ needs and scheduled visits, making sure I have consistent time blocks for feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins so each animal gets reliable care and attention. Because I’m already used to working a structured weekday schedule, I plan my weekends in advance to prioritize pet care bookings and avoid overbooking. I stay flexible for morning, midday, and evening visits depending on what the pet needs, and I make sure I allow enough time between visits so I’m never rushed and each pet gets proper attention. For longer pet sitting stays, I can adjust my routine to accommodate extended care, including overnight stays if needed. In those cases, I focus on maintaining the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible while still balancing my other responsibilities. Overall, I treat pet care as a dedicated part of my weekend schedule, with flexibility for longer stays when needed, while ensuring every pet receives consistent, reliable care. I provide attentive, reliable care tailored to each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific medical or behavioral needs. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely to keep pets in their familiar environment and routine as stress-free as possible. This includes feeding on schedule, providing fresh water, administering medications if needed, cleaning up after them, and making sure they get appropriate exercise, enrichment, and affection. I also respect the client’s home by keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. If I am caring for pets in my own home, I maintain a safe, calm environment with constant supervision when pets are present. I ensure proper separation if needed, secure outdoor access at all times, and keep routines consistent with the owner’s instructions to reduce anxiety. My background working in a veterinary setting also helps me recognize signs of stress or illness early, so I can respond appropriately and communicate with the owner right away if anything seems off. My priority is always the pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being.
About: I worked as a dog walker and pet sitter right after I graduated college, and I’ve looked after friends cats and dogs while they have been traveling. I am a music teacher which means I have many breaks in my work throughout the day, and most of my work is during after-school hours. I will keep an eye on the pets at all times and not leave them unattended. I will keep dogs on leash when out and about, and in a fenced in yard or in the house when not on leash. I will be mindful of allowing pets to interact with other pets based on owner experience and preference.
About: I am currently living in Carbondale, CO living for the outdoor adventures! I love getting to bring Leo on outdoor adventures with me and would treat your fur baby like my own with lots of love and fun adventures. I decided to get into dog sitting because I’m looking for some side work and what better way to spend my time then with more sweet furry friends! In my personal experience, I have had a wide range of different kinds of pets, such as chickens, lizards, hamsters, cats, and dogs. In my professional life with animal handling, I had the most incredible experience in the past in Colorado to be a part-time dog handler for sled dogs. I have also done a good amount of dog sitting for friends in the past. I can't wait to help out and make some new furry friends and maybe go on an outdoor adventure too! I do work full time but have flexibility in my daily schedule and have weekends open. Just as I treat my dog, I always prioritize a good healthy route and would do the same for your pet. I have a regular route with my dog and would treat and care for anyone else’s pets the same! I understand the importance of a safe and loving experience for your pets as I look for the same for my dog when I’m away. I have a lot of country land I live at with a grassy backyard.
“Came to walk my dog and went above and beyond to make sure she was settled in. Stayed extra to play with her because she had the puppy zoomies!! Even ensure the safety precautions I have in place as far as rooms blocked off were set before he left and I didn’t even ask him! Great dog sitter”

About: My dog Yuki and I have lived internationally in 3 different countries. We have now called the RFV our home since 2020. I work in Aspen and bring my little floof in to work with me, it is a very dog friendly workplace. While living in Dubai I began watching friends and colleagues dogs while they were away; everything from a little 6 pound shitzu puppy to an 86 pound special needs lab. I hated boarding kennels for my own dog and wanted him to be in an environment as close to home as possible to ease the stress of being away from family. All dogs I meet get the same love and attention I give my boy Yuki, which is quite a bit! I am a certified teacher and Yuki is a service dog who assists in classrooms and in child development. I developed an educational framework for assistance dogs in the school I was a founding member of. In Dubai he helped to build responsibility and empathy in my classroom as well as helped to develop confidence in reading skills to children within the school. If you ever need advice on taking your beloved pet abroad, please ask and I am more than happy to give advice on the processes. I work at the Red Brick in Aspen and can pop out to go for walks with your pup during my work day, Yuki my pup comes into the office and hangs out with other office doggos during the day and we are happy to host additional pups. I am in Aspen 9-5 weekdays. I live in Woody Creek just off the Rio Grand trail, perfect place for long hikes. I am very careful with my own dog, nothing that could potentially hurt them is allowed in the house (no grapes, etc.) Fenced in yard so no escaping through an open door. And, all pups are allowed on the bed (I also have doggie stairs up to keep any little pups hips happy).

Wingo dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kira was awesome, we were in town for a hockey weekend and had a hectic schedule that required some flexibility and driving to two different locations for dog walking-she rolled with us. By the second walk, our puppy could not wait to get to her with his energy and enthusiasm indicating how great she was with him immediately. He even got a little extra playtime with her puppy, so all in all exceptional service we will definitely work with her again the next time we’re in Aspen.
