About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life and am the “go to” for dog sitting for family and friends. I have a husky-hound mix, coonhound, and german shepherd. I have experience with large and small dogs. All my dogs are different ages so I’m familiar with super chill and super rambunctious pups! I’m a recent grad who misses my dogs at home. My current place doesn’t allow pets so I’m hoping to get my fix by taking care of other people’s pets! I would love an evening walk pal the most! I can follow instructions for your dog needs! Whether that’s a kennel or medication with food, I will make sure your needs are met along with your precious pup’s needs. Two of my dogs attended dog school so I am always familiar with training and would love to keep up with the commands your household uses.

Mariah was great! I was so nervous because I had never used Rover before, but it was such a simple and pleasant process. Mariah was super responsive and sweet which eased my nerves! She sent me lots of photos and detailed all the fun they had, like their walk, play time, and my doggie chomping on her favorite treat- ice cubes. I will definitely book Mariah again. Thank you, Mariah!

Jasper has been a huge help walking our dog, Birdie. She can be very nervous and somewhat reactive around new people, but he has been incredibly patient and accommodating with her. He’s given her the time and space she needs to slowly warm up, which we really appreciate. Jasper is always timely, responsible, professional, and very communicative. You can truly tell he loves animals, and Birdie is in great hands with him!

About: I have experience caring for a senior Labrador retriever who requires daily exercise, consistent routines, and lots of attention. Maintaining his comfort and wellbeing has taught me a lot about patience, observation, and the importance of reliable care! I’ve also house‑sat for other people’s dogs and received positive feedback for being dependable and communicative. I have administered oral medications as well as injections for cats and dogs. Let me care for your furry friend for a night, walk, or even just a drop by visit! I am moving to Aspen, Colorado for the summer! I hope to spend time with some pets as I explore this wonderful area! My available times will be posted soon.:) I would love to care for your pet in any preferred yard, neighborhood, or open space! I can provide walks/playtime from 15 minutes up to a few hours.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals of all kinds since I was a kid. Professionally, I started working at doggy daycares when I was in high school and went on to pet sitting, walking, as well as animal husbandry and working with horses. I work in childcare and have a playful caring nature. I am currently available any time. I have recently moved to the area and schedule is wide open. Let’s chat and we can work something out that meets your scheduling needs. I would care for your pets as I would my own. I am incredibly respectful of other people’s space and abide by their rules. About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. What sets me apart is the combination of patience, reliability, and genuine love I bring to every pet I care for. I treat each dog like part of my family and focus on creating a safe, calm, and fun environment while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, allowing me to provide consistent attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate feeding times, walks, play sessions, potty breaks, and any special care instructions your pet may need. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while in my care. Whether it's a quick drop-in visit, daily walks, or overnight care, I am committed to keeping your pet happy, comfortable, and following their usual routine as closely as possible. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I make sure they are in a clean, secure, and stress-free environment. I carefully follow each pet owner's instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and daily routines to help pets feel comfortable and maintain consistency. I take the time to get to know each pet's personality, needs, and preferences, ensuring they receive the appropriate level of attention, exercise, and affection. During walks, I always use secure leashes and remain attentive to my surroundings. About: Ever since I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by animals. Growing up with three large dogs and two cats gave me a strong foundation in animal care and a lifelong love for pets. Over the years, I have volunteered more than 130 hours with animal shelters and rescue organizations, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of tasks including walking, bathing, administering medications, transporting animals to and from veterinary appointments, and fostering dogs in need in my home. I’m also a full-time dog mom and currently work part-time from home, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and provide attentive care. I love spending time outdoors, whether that’s long neighborhood walks, hiking local trails, or simply enjoying fresh air with a happy pup by my side. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I would love the opportunity to help with all of your pet care needs and provide peace of mind while you're away. I have two dogs at home that I care for full time. First thing in the morning I let my pups outback into the fenced in yard. I then feed them breakfast around 7:30am. We love to go to the park or for walks, we do this every day. Some days we will head up to a lake or reservoir for some swimming. We have dinner in the evening and potentially another walk. When caring for a pet in your home, I like to do a meet and greet with the dog first if that is a possibility. When being in your home I can provide the dog with treats and a slow introduction to gain their trust. Once this has been completed, then I will go about their daily routine per your request.

About: I have experience in puppy obedience training and leash training, oral medication administration, experience handling dogs of all ages and sizes, especially with caring for stubborn dogs. Also I am very familiar with taking care of pups with anxiety or different fears. I am a full time student at Boston University, but have long breaks throughout my day where I could care for nearby pets in need of attention or walks, meaning lunchtime check ins or walks work particularly well with my schedule. I am happy to follow any preferences you have for pet care, including crating your dog (I have extensive experience crate training an unruly giant schnauzer puppy), leash preferences, and feeding schedules. I typically bring water bowls and extra water for my dogs on walks to keep them feeling their best and treats to keep them engaged (treat type depending on what your dog typically eats).

About: I’ve owned and trained two dogs from puppyhood—a Husky and my current German Wirehaired Pointer, Lenny. Training and building a strong relationship with my dogs has always been important to me. Having lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for over 12 years, I spend most of my time outdoors hiking, walking, and exploring. When your pup stays with me—whether for an hour, a day, or overnight—you can count on them getting plenty of exercise, fresh air, and attention. They’ll come home happy, tired, and ready to snuggle. I work from home so I usually get out for a walk or run in the morning. Afternoon jont to split up the day and then an evening activity depending on what is on the schedule. I have a fenced backyard and Lenny (my pup) to add to the fun. She’s a great companion to other dogs but also great for training.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
