She knew the Vail area extremely well and was able to actually help me around. I love that she’s an EMT as well as making the mountains her home, she’s very active which is awesome for dog care, and in the wintertime she works on the slopes. “The first words I'd use to describe Riley are empathetic and caring. She owns two cats and cherishes them unconditionally. She has always been an animal lover, and strives to love animals any time she encounters them. In the past, she assisted a veterinary clinic and got hands-on experience with handling potentially dangerous animals. While she has had some negative experiences with peoples' pets in the past, she is never the one to incite conflict. One time, one of her friends' dogs bit her randomly while she was petting him. Instead of becoming fearful of dogs, she convinced herself that that dog's behavior might have derived from a traumatic past experience and she challenged herself to continue to interact with the dog. Eventually, they gained each others' trust and they become good friends. Riley is an active person and enjoys walking, so she'll do great at walking pets if that's what this job entails. Anna helped us tremendously by coming to our home and being available at short notice when our dog needed to go outside for a quick potty walk. Anna was incredibly warm, loving, caring, and careful with our aging dog and our dog responded very well to her-wagging her tail when she saw Anna come over. when we get another dog, Anna will be the first person we call to help.”

About: Recently coming off traveling the US and the way I was able to do that was pet sitting! I was able to line up dog sits and stay in areas I’ve always wanted to visit. The plus was having a dog to get to explore the outside world with. I’m moving back to Colorado and would love to keep this going by staying in new areas. Please reach out to me so I can get to know your fur babies needs! :) I currently work a 8-4 job in Edwards. I would be able to let the dog out in the am for the bathroom and when I get home I would be able to talk the dog for a long walk. There are some days I do like to go home for lunch or if I am passing by on a work route I can stop and check in - all depends on the day. Right now I would like to stick to home visits as I do have a roomate. At others homes I care for their place as I would mine. I am tidy & respectful. I like to stick to the pets routine so I would ask to leave a detailed schedule behind.

I have a lot of experience caring for many animals; dogs (puppies & seniors), cats, lizards, rats, aquatic pets, horses and chickens. They go out every 4-6 hours as well I have a dog park across the street from my house where my dogs go so many times a day!! They have so many friends there, it’s a great open area for them run loose in a fenced area and to play fetch and or go potty!

About: I love animals and thoroughly enjoy spending time, walking, and caring for animals. I have had dogs since I was a child and have a lot of experience with a lot different of dog personalities. I currently work a great schedule of 3 days on and 4 days off so on the days I have off I can take your dogs for walks, check on them, feed them and provide them with excellent care! I live in an apartment but have access to trails right out my door. I am a very compassionate, clean, and friendly woman who will take care of your pet and will always do my best to meet you and your animals needs.
