Dog Walkers in Edwards, CO

About: I love dogs and our family enjoys caring for other pets so that others can go on vacation! My 11 year old daughter will be helping me a lot since she loves to give attention to all dogs. She will be supervised since either myself or my husband are mostly at home. She enjoys working with them on basic skills such as sit lay and paw. I am home 4 days a week. I love to be outdoors and tend to take multiple walks/runs per week along with 1-2 hikes. We have two 1 year old golden retrievers to encourage us to go outside! My husband works from home. I have 4 kids ages 9, 11, 16 and 19 who love to give attention to furry friends. Our 1 year old puppies that are both boys and they love playing with other dogs. Six people living in our home which allows us to give a lot of attention and love to your dog while you are away. I sincerely apologize but we are currently not accepting pitbulls for our sitter services.

About: I grew up with cats and dogs. When I moved out, I immediately took in a kitten and, later, adopted a dog. I traveled throughout Europe and had opportunities to pet set during my adventure, which was truly amazing because I missed my pets dearly. I have taken care of many friends' and families pets while they were away, showing that I am very trustworthy with others' pets. I am living in Edwards CO for the remainder of the year and was unable to bring my cats with me. I'm signing up with Rover to extend my care for my pets to others who need it. I work Monday to Thursday. On the weekends I am always available unless I have plans to travel myself. I would be able to care for your pet at any time Friday Saturday and Sunday. This will vary depending on what specifically you would need me to do. In the past, I would go to the home to let the dogs out and play with them in the backyard. If that is unavailable, then I can take the dog for a walk as long as the leash and baggies are available to me. For cats, I will spend time playing with them, ensuring the litter box is cleaned, and water/food is available (and for dogs too).

About: After my dog passed when I was 14 ( I am now 25), I started to walk my neighbor’s dog every day. By the end of that year I was walking / taking care of 4 more dogs almost every day! My neighbors really relied on me to walk, feed, and be there for their pets. I’ve taken care of almost every type of dog and that being said I can do a pretty good job at handling them! I am VERY willing to take your doggo on long walks and play all day. I don’t have any pets to accompany them if they stay with me but I can assure you that I will be there to keep them company all day and night. If your doggo likes to sleep in the bed with you, they are welcome to sleep in the bed with me too! I am currently working full time out of the house (but have a flexible schedule) so I’ll have a lot of time to hang with the dogs as soon as I get home from work! I live in Singletree in Edwards! I have a smaller backyard but lots of places to go on long walks! I don’t have any pets at the moment unfortunately but I’ll be there to suffice for entertainment!

About: Life is better with dogs and I often say we don’t deserve them! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 4 adorable miniature dachshunds. I wanted 2 more but my partner threw down the hammer on me saying no. I’ve used Rover in the past and had some really amazing experiences and one, not so great experience, so I understand the value in finding the right person to stay, play and take care of your loved ones. I’ve always valued my caretaker sending plenty of photos and videos while I’m away, so I always said if I did this for others, I would do the same! Trust and reliability are the most important things I’ve always looked for in having someone stay in my home with my pets while I’m away, and that’s what you get from me! I am currently retired and am fully available day and night! My partner and our 4 dogs stay at our house in Denver full time, and I stay at my house here in the Vail Valley, so there are no conflicts with my schedule. I would be the only person taking care of your pets! Pets are children. Always have been and always will be in my book. I love to play with, walk and snuggle them. I like to give them the same unconditional love they give us.

About: I’ve house sat for many families and many different animals. I’ve been to formal training with my own pet and sat dogs with a variety of health problems and behavioral problems without incidence. I strive to enrich your pets mind and offer a calm energy around them. I am a huge advocate of your pets needs on walks and around other animals we may come into contact with. I know trusting your pets with someone can be very intimidating, but hopefully I can reassure you with lots of photos and updates about your pet! I work from 8am-3pm most days but get an hour lunch to take your pet out as needed. I have time to not just take your pet out but also give them plenty of attention when I am watching them Though I cannot keep them at my residence I can provide enrichment techniques I’ve learned for my own dog so they don’t get bored. I make sure my dog is tired out by the end of the day so that they can sleep comfortably
