“Grace was very accommodating and communication was easy! Daisy seemed very happy with the walk. I appreciated that Grace was available to come a second time, when I realized we wouldn't be back until late. I would definitely use Grace again!”

About: Not a professional dog trainer but I did raise my golden retriever since he was 8 weeks old and thought him a lot of commands I work full time in a restaurant so I mostly have the availability during my days off Monday/Tuesday but still open to help after/before work as well I live in Lionsridge in West Vail, this apartment complex allows dogs and has plenty of walking space around with some dog parks nearby as well
“Clare is incredible with Mr Pnut, she’s very caring and takes him on nice hikes that he loves. I have no concerns when I know he’s with her and that gives me great piece of mind.”

About: ive lived with dogs my whole life and couldn’t find a more pure form of joy! i don’t have any pets currently so i find excitement in helping out others with their furry friends and getting to hangout with sweet pups🤍 Growing up in Austin, I’ve always been surrounded by nature and an active outdoor lifestyle. Hiking the Greenbelt, exploring the Hill Country, and spending time outside have been a part of my daily routine for as long as I can remember. As a lifelong dog lover, I know how important exercise, adventure, and companionship are for a happy pup. Whether it’s a long walk, a trail run, or just quality time together, I make sure dogs in my care get the attention, movement, and love they need. My experience with different breeds, combined with my active lifestyle, means I provide not just pet sitting, but a fulfilling, enriching experience for every dog I look after. Growing up with so many different animals, I’ve developed a deep love for dogs. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, ensuring they receive the attention and affection they deserve. I prioritize open communication with pet owners, providing regular updates and promptly addressing any concerns. My goal is to provide a nurturing and safe environment for every dog, treating them as if they were my own.
“Nikohl, was amazing and accommodating. Unfortunately, we had to last minute change our scheduled walk because of me and she was willing to change. She was so good with Luna, will definitely re-book in the future.”

“Melissa was fantastic! She was great with all the communication and how the dogs did during their walk including pictures. My two senior dogs are pretty needy, as one is not people friendly (rescue) and the other is not dog friendly. So they are quite the pair. Both dogs enjoyed their walk with Melissa and I will be booking her again. Highly recommend!”

“Kalina was great with our dog Jasper! He’s an old souls and loves naps and long walks. She made sure he got a long walk around the park and was fed. Thank you and we look forward to working with you again!”
About: I grew up around dogs and absolutely love spending time with them! Anything from a quick potty break, to longer walk, or even an overnighter! Growing up I would often pet-sit for friends, family, and neighbors when they were away and I’m excited to offer my experience and services to you! Currently working only a few hours a week so I have open availability! This will change slightly during the ski season but until then I am more than happy to help whenever I am needed! I ensure gates are closed and secured before letting dogs out into the backyard. I double check leashes before I go outside. I always bring doggy bags with me and pick up after them. I also make sure any special instructions are followed such as ‘please make sure Rex is in the upstairs bedroom where his bed is set up and close the door, otherwise he will escape and chew on furniture’. My goal is to ensure your pet is happy and well taken care of so you can enjoy peace of mind!
About: Life is better with dogs and I often say we don’t deserve them! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 4 adorable miniature dachshunds. I wanted 2 more but my partner threw down the hammer on me saying no. I’ve used Rover in the past and had some really amazing experiences and one, not so great experience, so I understand the value in finding the right person to stay, play and take care of your loved ones. I’ve always valued my caretaker sending plenty of photos and videos while I’m away, so I always said if I did this for others, I would do the same! Trust and reliability are the most important things I’ve always looked for in having someone stay in my home with my pets while I’m away, and that’s what you get from me! I am currently retired and am fully available day and night! My partner and our 4 dogs stay at our house in Denver full time, and I stay at my house here in the Vail Valley, so there are no conflicts with my schedule. I would be the only person taking care of your pets! Pets are children. Always have been and always will be in my book. I love to play with, walk and snuggle them. I like to give them the same unconditional love they give us.
“Jack was wonderful. He arrived prior to the appointed time and took Sam on a serious adventure hike and swimming in a mountain lake. He returned her in happy condition , and tired from her outing. I wish that I had been in Avon longer as I would have easily engaged Jack for another outing. He was terrific.”
“Colin was responsive to my questions ensuring me that our little guy would be left in good hands. It was our little guy's first experience with a sitter and we were anxious as was he. I appreciate Colin's attentiveness and knowledge on dog behaviors in recognizing that. Would recommend Colin to friends travelling to Whistler with their pets.”
About: I am self employed and work from home so have plenty of time to give attention to your pup. I have a 13 year old dog named Bruce. He enjoys slower walks and hikes but I’m happy to do longer walks or runs with your younger dog. Bruce gets along with all dogs and I would prefer yours does too! I have plenty of time throughout the day to walk, play, etc with your dog. Just let me know what their activity level is, off leash guidelines, and any other quirks. My yard is on the Gore creek, not fenced in. My dog and other visiting dogs always play down by the creek. If your dog is not good off leash or you don’t want them near the creek, I will keep them on leash at all times.
About: I have always had a love for animals. I have had dogs always growing up and have taken care of lots of different animals. I have a 3 old aussie who has lots of energy and loves to play! I currently work part time serving in a restaurant, so my schedule is pretty flexible and willing to be moved around for pet care needs! I live right by a very nice trail that allows dogs to be off leash. I have a 3 old aussie at home who loves to play and for long walks and hikes.
