About: Dogs have always been an important part of my life. As a dog mom, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I am patient, dependable, attentive to each dogs unique needs. Whether your dog needs a relaxing walk, extra playtime, or simply a caring companion while you’re away, I will provide the same love and attention that I give my own pets. I especially enjoyed caring for a small medium sized dogs and helping them feel happy and secure. My husband currently works during the day, so I have time to provide walks and overall attention to a dog that might need it. My routine and schedule is flexible, I’m more than happy to come up with something that works on my end and yours. I can take the dog on a walk on the street, nearby trail, or dog park all depending on the dogs capabilities and needs. All of this of course depends on the area. The dog lives in and what the dog is accustomed to.

About: I've grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I genuinely love spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe, happy, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter for two years, where I cared for pets of all ages, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. I'll treat your pet like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout my visits. I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Colorado Boulder majoring in Business. I'm involved in the Real Estate Club, Finance Club, and the Leeds Scholars Program. During the summer and school breaks, I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pets. I'm an active person who loves being outdoors, so I'm always happy to take dogs on walks, hikes, or spend extra time playing outside. I pride myself on being dependable, punctual, and responsive, so you can count on me to provide consistent, loving care. Your pet's safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, and I'll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs. I take the time to build trust with each animal and create a calm, loving environment where they feel comfortable. My previous work experience in customer service—including retail and most recently in the jewelry industry—has taught me responsibility, attention to detail, communication, and professionalism. I'll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in great hands.

Tracy was great with my Gemma! She was understanding of her specific needs and quirks. She came the day before for a meet and greet that really helped get a nice introduction for Gemma and eased my nerves as I am pretty new to rover. Will definitely be using Tracy again!

The BEST! You truly can’t go with another person to care for your baby! Eric did a meet and greet with us once we got into town, took Magnus man on a walk! Then took him out while we were out on the mountains! He walked him, made sure he was comfortable inside after he left and topped off his water! Our child was in amazing hands!

About: I'm a caring and experienced pet caregiver who genuinely loves animals. I’ve also been a dedicated nurse for 10 years. I know how important it is to care for each unique pet and give them the love and attention they need. I've taken care of dogs with different needs, including health issues like seizures and anxiety, so I’m comfortable handling special situations and making sure your pet feels safe and cared for. The dates I list as available are days when I or my spouse are off from work and home 100%. As I work part-time as a nurse (2 days/week), I have plenty of time to play with your pups and give them the attention they need during our available days. My husband, Paul, and I are in our 30s and have lived in Silverthorne for the past 6 years. I’m a nurse, while he’s an environmental scientist. We love the outdoors and enjoy exploring the beautiful trails around our home. Although I am newer to Rover, I bring years of hands-on experience caring for dogs with various needs. My husband and I have both cared for pups in every stage of life. We are fully dedicated to providing your pet with the love and care they deserve. We live in a clean, pet-friendly, spacious 3-bedroom duplex (no roommates). Our shared yard is smaller, but the surrounding walkable areas have plenty of trails for outdoor adventures and exercise year-round — summer or winter!
I currently have one dog of my own, who is older and very good with other pups. He’s a calm, friendly guy and will make your dogs feel at home with us. I am experienced in managing multiple pets and ensuring everyone feels safe and loved. As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and compassionate. I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. If you think I might be the right fit for your furry friend, I’d love to chat or set up a meet-and-greet!

About: Love borrowing my friends dogs for hikes! I do a lot of hiking alone, so it makes me feel a little bit safer to take a pup on a hike with me. Hikes are about an hour long. I have several long time clients throughout the county, that I help while out of town or walk dogs weekly. I have watched cats, Small dogs, all the way up to an Alaskan Malamutes, she just passed away so I am looking for a new dog bff. I have taken care of dogs my whole life and have dog sat for different families for years so I am used to a variety of dogs and their different needs. I have a small, unfenced in patio/yard and a park across the street from home. I’m a busy bartender and server on the weekends, so weekdays I’m more available to help out more full time. Over nights are doable more full time! I have several long time clients throughout the county, that I help while out of town or walk dogs weekly. My dog Bilbo is so excited when Joey comes to pick him up. I was most concerned with him getting exercise and he always comes home good and tired. Bilbo gets along great with Joey’s dog Moose which is awesome for his socialization and exercise. I will definitely try to keep getting walks with Joey!

About: Bill Murray says it best: “I’m suspicious of people who don’t like dogs, but I trust a dog when it doesn’t like a person.” I’m an all-around absolute animal lover but there’s just that something about dogs that I drool over. Dogs understand me and I understand them, similar to whisperer status. I’ve been known to greet dogs before I acknowledge its human(s) but I know none of you blame me for that! Trust that I’ll treat your pup as if it’s my own human child, and because I don’t have one of those, I’m extremely grateful and tickled for the opportunity to share my love with your best fur friend(s). I genuinely look forward to our time together! [Friendly reminder: Rover takes 20% out of the services and gas cost is high.]

About: Dogs have been part of my life for over 25 years, and caring for animals comes naturally to me. I have experience supporting dogs with medical conditions, including diabetes and medication schedules, and I understand how important consistency, patience, and attentiveness are for pets with extra needs. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or prefers a calm, relaxed environment, I adapt to their personality and routine. My goal is always to create a safe, comfortable space where your furry family member feels happy, cared for, and at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’ve had dogs for most of my life and genuinely enjoy being around animals. I make time for walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and giving pets attention throughout the day so they feel comfortable and cared for. I also enjoy staying active, so regular walks and exercise are something I naturally incorporate into my routine. Whether a pet needs energy and engagement or a calm, relaxed environment, I’m able to adapt to their needs and maintain a consistent routine for them. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment where pets can stick to their normal routines as much as possible. In a client’s home, I make sure pets receive consistent care through feeding schedules, walks, playtime, exercise, medication if needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I also respect each pet’s personality and energy level, whether they enjoy being active or prefer a quieter environment. I pay close attention to safety, cleanliness, and communication, and I always aim to make pets feel secure and cared for while their owners are away. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel relaxed and confident knowing they’re in good hands.

About: I've grown up with dogs and have been a resource for friends and neighbors to rely on for taking care of their pets while they are traveling or at work. Happy to travel around Summit County and nearby areas. I work from home a lot of the time, so I have a great schedule for walks, activities and lots of love. I try to spend as much of my free time outside at parks, on walks or hikes and just outside in general! I do not currently have pets and am willing to travel to your home for pet car and overnight stays. I will take great care of your pet and offer a safe, loving friend for them while you are away.

  • 86% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
