Our dogs were taken on multiple walks, hikes, and outings per day. They went sledding and shared videos of our puppy pulling the sled. We got multiple pictures, texts, and videos during the day to keep us posted and they were always walking, playing, or snuggly WITH Karen on the couch and good Lord it was cute!! She is an all-star and you couldn't ask for a better fur baby sitter. My kids wanted to give her five bajillioon stars, but it wasn't an option. She's the best!”

About: I grew up around dogs and I've had my own pup, a 15-year old mixed breed named Luka, for the last 15 years. Whether it’s a chill walk on the bike path or an adventurous hike, dogs know how to have the best time and I love being around them. While I’ve never owned a cat, I’ve also helped care for friends’ cats over the years. My goal is to provide your dog with a safe, fun, and satisfying experience that meets their needs and gives you peace of mind. I offer dog walking (solo or with Luka if your dog likes friends), drop ins for both dogs and cats, doggy daycare, and boarding. For doggy daycare and boarding, I prefer to schedule a meet and greet ahead of time if posdible to make sure our dogs get along (Luka is pretty laidback and has hosted many dogs). Please let me know what you are looking for and we'll see if it’s a good fit! I work remotely from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to easily provide your dog with plenty of exercise and companionship. Your dog’s safety is my priority. Before caring for your dog, I want to best understand your pet’s personality and needs. I will respect all your requests and preferences, especially with regards to interactions with other dogs, whether your dog can be off leash, etc.

About: Life is better with dogs and I often say we don’t deserve them! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 4 adorable miniature dachshunds. I wanted 2 more but my partner threw down the hammer on me saying no. I’ve used Rover in the past and had some really amazing experiences and one, not so great experience, so I understand the value in finding the right person to stay, play and take care of your loved ones. I’ve always valued my caretaker sending plenty of photos and videos while I’m away, so I always said if I did this for others, I would do the same! Trust and reliability are the most important things I’ve always looked for in having someone stay in my home with my pets while I’m away, and that’s what you get from me! I am currently retired and am fully available day and night! My partner and our 4 dogs stay at our house in Denver full time, and I stay at my house here in the Vail Valley, so there are no conflicts with my schedule. I would be the only person taking care of your pets! Pets are children. Always have been and always will be in my book. I love to play with, walk and snuggle them. I like to give them the same unconditional love they give us.

About: Helping care for pets is especially meaningful to me because my own pets are an extension of who I am. From outdoor adventures to cozy cuddles, I treat every furry friend like family and love keeping owners updated along the way. My dogs get walked twice a day and let out midday, we would rather be outside. I usually get out earlier in the morning due to the heat! I manage dogs in my home and in others’ homes with a balance of freedom, structure, and respect. In my own space, dogs have free range with a few furniture boundaries, constant access to fresh water, and regular bathroom breaks. When caring for pets in another home, I strictly follow all homeowner rules and routines to ensure pets feel comfortable and consistency is maintained.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs majority of my life. Growing up I’be had 3 husky mix breeds all coming from animal shelters. I have always had the responsibility of taking them on walks, playing with them and feeding them. In high school I also volunteered at the animal shelter near me and took care of all the dogs and cats there. I recently also became a loving cat owner and just moved to the area. I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon. I recently moved to the Vail area and am working with Vail resorts. I will be working Monday- Saturday from 9am-6 with a day off during the week. I am open to doing dog walks, house checks, letting your dog out or caring for your cat before work, during my lunch break and at any hours after work and any days I have off. I am currently living in employee housing and at this time could not have other pets in my home due to the policies enforced. I am open to caring for your pet on your home, in whichever way makes you the comfortable.

About: I have been house sitting on and off for many years and love to be around animals. My neighbors and family friends have tasked me with taking care of their houses, animals, plants, many other things! I’m currently working full time in Vail, so I will be able to care for your pet anytime outside of these hours. My work hours are typically 8am-5pm Monday-Friday! When I am taking care of any animal I will treat them just like family! Lots of walks and attention! I can give your dogs lots of exercise!

About: I am self employed and work from home so have plenty of time to give attention to your pup. I have a 13 year old dog named Bruce. He enjoys slower walks and hikes but I’m happy to do longer walks or runs with your younger dog. Bruce gets along with all dogs and I would prefer yours does too! I have plenty of time throughout the day to walk, play, etc with your dog. Just let me know what their activity level is, off leash guidelines, and any other quirks. My yard is on the Gore creek, not fenced in. My dog and other visiting dogs always play down by the creek. If your dog is not good off leash or you don’t want them near the creek, I will keep them on leash at all times.

About: I genuinely enjoy taking care of, playing and loving pets! I have been around animals my whole life & it makes life so much more fulfilling. I have two cats and a dog of my own & have been the dog/cat auntie for many friends with pets. I love taking pets on adventures, hiking, parks, kayaking, paddle boarding, cuddling up on the couch, playing fetch, tug of war or learning new tricks. Pets add so much love and joy to our lives, they give love without question & it’s so meaningful to experience. I have volunteered at animal shelters in the USVI and SC. I also volunteered at a Donkey rehabilitation center in USVI taking care of donkeys, goats & horses. Rover is currently my main job so I should have availability in my schedule as of right now. About: I've grown up around dogs and had my own for almost 10 years. Just because he is gone, doesn't mean I can't help others when they need it. I'm one of those people that walk into a dog park and get surrounded by the pack. I adore them! As of right now, I have all the time in the world to care for and look after all the fuzzy critters. I appreciate all animals, no matter what the species. I currently live in West Vail, not far from the dog park so lots of playtime throughout the day. I love hiking and long walks to clear the mind.
